00:00The Philippine consulate confirmed that the Filipinos are in a good condition

00:05affected by the wildfire in California until this time.

00:12In an interview with Consul General Adelio Angelito Cruz in Radio Pilipinas,

00:17two large fires are still happening in Can Luran and the eastern part of Los Angeles, California,

00:24where the wildfire is still spreading due to the strong wind that is being experienced every year in the area.

00:33In the last report of the consulate,

00:35more than 150,000 people were evacuated, most of whom are Filipinos.

00:43According to Consulate General Cruz,

00:45191 Filipinos asked for their help and they are in a good condition.

00:52The consulate also explained that they are ready to help the Filipinos,

00:56whether it is legally or not.

00:59Meanwhile, they are continuing their coordination with the government of the Philippines,

01:04such as the DMW and DFA, as well as other government agencies.

01:10All of the 191 Filipinos are in evacuation centers.

01:15They are in a good condition and they are being taken care of.

01:18They continue to receive food and other necessities from all over California.

01:29That's why they are being taken care of.

01:31We are ready to help.

01:33We are not asking for their status.

01:37We just want to prove that they are not U.S. citizens.
