00:00A few days after the Super Typhoon Pepito hit, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. personally

00:08sent help to our fellow countrymen in Nueva Vizcaya.

00:14Kenneth Paciente is in the center of the news.

00:19President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. led the north,

00:22including those affected by the typhoons.

00:25First, he went to the province of Nueva Vizcaya, where the typhoon Pepito hit hard.

00:30President R. Marcos, Jr. received cash assistance from the Office of the President,

00:34which is worth Php 50 million.

00:37According to the President, it will be used by beneficiaries

00:40for their compensation for damaged houses and other properties.

00:44Every family has their own needs that are not included in the food pack,

00:50not included in the medical kit, not included in what we give.

00:55That's why we will give cash to the victims so that they can use it,

01:00so that they can buy, so that you can buy your needs.

01:05Aside from this, Php 2.5 million from the DSWD

01:09for the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation Program,

01:13where Php 5,000 is received by the 500 beneficiaries.

01:17The President also led the distribution of family food packs

01:21from the DSWD to the 1,000 beneficiaries.

01:24He assured that it will continue until the affected residents return to their homes.

01:30The Executive Board also emphasized that the supply of FFPs should be sufficient

01:34through the whole-of-government approach and with the help of the private sector.

01:39That's why it's very important that our supply is sufficient

01:43so that we can continue to produce it.

01:45Because I always remember,

01:48with the number of typhoons that have passed,

01:51with the number of victims,

01:53it was difficult for us to get rid of it.

01:57That's why we are gathering all of this

02:02from now on, we will continue to distribute these relief goods

02:09until our countrymen no longer need them,

02:32Currently, the DA is assisting, according to the President,

02:35the Pinsalang Iniwan ng Bagyo in the province when it comes to agriculture

02:54because we need to provide assistance.

03:06The President also inspected the Bypass Road in Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya

03:10where P15.5 million pesos of Pinsala was collected

03:14where the President ordered the early collection of this
