00:25The Department of Agriculture, Philippine Carabao Center in Ponte Vedra and Quarteros, Capiz launched the AI or Artificial Insemination Technology program for Visayas.
00:37The program, better known as OMAI-CALABAU or OMK,
00:41aims to increase the knowledge of AI farmers
00:44as a tool to improve the quality of Calabau farmers
00:48who are expected to earn additional income.
00:51The two-day activity led by the Knowledge Management Division and DA-PCC based in West Visayas State University
00:59was attended by 280 Calabau farmers, AI technicians, and others from cooperatives.
01:06The OMK campaign symbolizes the commitment of PCC
01:15to professionalize Artificial Insemination as a viable source of income
01:23for the propagation and propagation of the Calabau breed.
01:31The aim of the campaign is to increase the population of Calabau with a good breed
