00:03Well, let's start here.
00:04The Butterfield Bermuda Championship here in nicer weather.
00:07Much nicer than these sitting here in New Jersey.
00:09But a lot of names that we're not familiar with.
00:11Keith, we'll get there in just a few moments.
00:13But as always, I like to get the course set up here.
00:15We're taking a look at about 6,800 yards.
00:17The Port Royal Golf Course.
00:19What are the expectations and how should this course play out this weekend?
00:23Well, you know, Donnie, I got to correct you there for a second.
00:25I know Bermuda, the mid-ocean,
00:27and we start to think about shorts and the pink sands.
00:30But these guys, they have a brutal week coming.
00:33It is going to blow 30 miles an hour out there on the island.
00:36And the Bermuda Triangle is in full play.
00:39It's Friday night into Saturday morning.
00:41We're looking at a rainstorm that's coming through.
00:43And these guys are going to have some challenging conditions.
00:45And that goes back to the course here, Port Royal Golf Course.
00:48I mean, it's par 71, 6,800 yards.
00:51It should be pitch and punch for these guys.
00:53And last year, Camilla Vajagas wins at 24 under par.
00:56We also had Brendan Todd win in the first edition five years ago at 24 under par.
01:00But we've had guys win at 15 under par, too.
01:02And it's going to be one of those years.
01:04The over-under in Vegas is only 13.5 under par for the winning score.
01:09The weather is going to be an issue this week.
01:12And already I'm favoring the p.m., a.m. wave.
01:15But you know what?
01:16Don't lock in those lineups until you get the last forecast you can.
01:19And one other PSA I'll give you is that, you know what?
01:22Bermuda's an hour ahead of the East Coast.
01:24So don't be late tomorrow morning or tonight when you put those lineups in.
01:28Now, when you start talking about the golf course, it's a positional paradise.
01:32That's for sure.
01:33A lot of par 4s under 400 yards.
01:35We need great wedge approach players that can control their trajectory.
01:39Got to keep the ball low there.
01:41It's going to be windy.
01:42And we've got a lot of terrain changes.
01:44You got to remember, Bermuda is the tip of a volcano.
01:46It's a mountain out in the middle of the ocean.
01:48It is uneven territory.
01:50And these guys are going to be hitting downhill, uphill with wedges in their hands.
01:53Got to control trajectory.
01:54Got to control spin.
01:55And it's Bermuda.
01:56So we're talking Bermuda grass.
01:58And you've got to be a great Bermuda grass putter.
