00:00in case you missed it last night in the NFL. It is the team that keeps on winning, but
00:07they didn't cover. They finally did not cover last night. Wow. The Detroit lions came all
00:12the way back up against it against the Houston Texans in a game. They were trailing basically
00:19from second one to the end of the game until they kicked the field goal. The lions win
00:2426 to 23 on a wild night for them in particular, because Jared golf through five interceptions
00:33in this game. And this is the most efficient quarterback in the national football league
00:37all season. So needless to say, Detroit just looks like one of those teams of destiny,
00:43especially after Houston put up a tremendous fight in this one from start to finish. Hey,
00:49very happy Jared golf after this one and arguably his worst game as a pro. It honestly
00:55didn't feel like I was, I was playing all that bad and I was, I was seeing things. Well,
00:58I was throwing it. Well, um, had some unfortunate things there early, but like I've been through
01:05a whole lot worse than that. I've been, I've been to the bottom and, um, mentally I've
01:09been to the bottom and, um, some, some unlucky plays. I wasn't, isn't going to throw me off
01:14my game. Yeah. It's a battle. It's hard. I mean, again, I just said to Eric, but I didn't
01:19feel like I was, I was playing all that bad. I was seeing things. Well, um, you know, the
01:24tip ball, like, yeah, ultimately I got to take care of the ball, but they were, they
01:28were making some good plays and, um, some things that weren't going our way. And, and,
01:33and I think ultimately, like I never lost confidence because I felt like I was doing
01:40what I was supposed to do on, on, on most of those plays and our defense really bailed
01:44us out. Um, they really did all day and the guy stuck with me on offense and I was telling
01:49him, Hey man, I'm good. Just, just hang in there. And I'm, I'm, I'm good. I'm gonna have
01:53this thing figured out. And, um, they stuck with me, definitely a different golf with
01:57Detroit than was with Los Angeles to say the very least. Meanwhile, the Texans gotta be
02:02reeling. I mean, they dominated this game for three quarters. It looked like they had
02:06it in the bag until Detroit rallied late. D'Amico Ryan's head coach of the Texans, not
02:10exactly thrilled with the outcome. The second half was not good enough for us. We didn't,
02:14we didn't play winning football. We stalled on a lot of drives. Uh, again, didn't score
02:19any points in the second half. So, you know, to beat a good football team like that, we
02:24have to be able to sustain drives. We have to be able to score points. And we were going
02:29backwards way too much at the approach each week is to go win the game, no matter how
02:34it looks, you know, we don't set out to win an ugly game, but in this league, every game
02:39comes down to, you call that final possession. So you have to find a way to gut those out
02:44and win. We haven't been on the winning side, you know, of those games as you know, green
02:50Bay, New York, and now Detroit. So we didn't make the plays to win the game. Like however
02:57you win, you got to find a way and to play to win games. You got to have guys have to
03:03step up and make plays and that's not happening. Certainly a different season for the Texans
03:08than they had last year, still with hopes to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, the Kansas
03:12city chiefs haven't lost a game in just about a year. It appeared as though that was going
03:17to come to an end yesterday. All the Broncos had to do was kick a short field goal to beat
03:23Kansas city. Instead, it was blocked and the chiefs win 16 to 14. Boy, if you bet underdogs
03:28yesterday, you had a nice day. Chiefs were seven and a half point favorites, eight and
03:32some spots, but of course, Denver covers almost one total was 41 and a half in the game. And
03:37the crowd was going bananas at the end. Andy Reed had, thanks to them.
03:40I'd like to thank the fans for the support. They, they stayed and, uh, got a great show
03:46by the, our special teams put on there at the end. Um, up to that point, I thought,
03:54you know, my, my hat goes off to Denver for the job that they did. Uh, I thought defensively,
03:59offensively, they, they, they were strong and, um, you know, it ended up being one of
04:04those kind of games, uh, back and forth. And, um, you know, they, they arguably take
04:12it down for the winning kick. And then Leo steps up and does what Leo does every week
04:17somewhere. He makes a play defensively, special teams somewhere. He steps up and makes a play
04:23and he did a great job. Chiefs and bills next. That should be the game of the year in the
04:29NFL. All right. Yesterday, the San Francisco 49ers got their kicker back. Jake Moody nearly
04:34cost them the game. They did end up winning this one by a final of 23 to 20 Moody missed
04:39three field goals. Christian McCaffrey did return to the 49ers had a really good game
04:42for them as well. Meanwhile, uh, Pittsburgh, I mean, the Steelers just somehow fight a
04:47win in so many different games. You could say that about the commanders. The commanders
04:51came up just short. They lose to the Steelers 28 to 27. Russell Wilson got the commanders
04:57to go off sides before punting, which really just ended the game. And how about Kyler Murray
05:02and the Cardinals? Somehow they were an underdog in this game against the jets. Didn't appear
05:05to be at all. They crushed the jets yesterday, 31 to six total of 46 and a half jet season.
05:11Pretty much done. Arizona is still alive though. Very much for the playoffs. Meanwhile, the
05:15Indianapolis Colts have to think about their quarterback situation. Second straight week
05:18of playing Joe Flacco has not worked out the Buffalo bills. They ended up taking care of
05:23business. They were three and a half point favorites. They win 30 to 20. Let's just be
05:26honest. They've been the best team in the NFL the last couple of months, not named the
05:29chiefs 30 to 20 final there, eight and two on the season. Chargers win again. They beat
05:33the Titans 27 to 17, covering that number. Jalen hurts four touchdown passes as the Eagles
05:39destroy the Cowboys 34 to six. Cooper Rush had a bunch of problems in this game. Also
05:45very tough to see the ball at AT&T stadium. This is a hot topic yesterday after the game.
05:51It looked like a pass was thrown by rush to CD lamb in the end zone and at lamb couldn't
05:57see it because the sun was just coming in. As you can see there in that little clip.
06:01And it seems like this happens a lot, uh, at, at the stadium here, Jerry Jones, even
06:05after the game basically said that everybody knows what the situation is. We'll get to
06:09him in a minute, but first let's start with CD lamb on those circumstances.
06:12I couldn't see the ball. Couldn't see the ball at all. The sun, but yes, 1000%.
06:24Well, Jerry Jones loves the way the stadium must look on television because he could cover
06:30that thing up. There would be no sun going into the stadium. Jones was asked specifically
06:35if it bothers him at all. The fact that, you know, players can't see, he said, well, let's
06:40tear the stadium down and build another one. Are you kidding me? Everyone's got the same
06:44thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues. I'm saying the world knows where
06:48the sun is. You get to know a year in advance. Someone asked me about the sun. What about
06:53the moon? Hmm. Tough season for Jerry Jones. We really have to watch the Cowboys on Thanksgiving.
06:58That's true. This year, at least we get Detroit. All right. Uh, how about against the, Oh my
07:04God, that's a bad game. All right. Uh, how about the new England Patriots having a better
07:07season than everyone thought? I think most people thought what new England would be like
07:10one in 16, two and 15. I mean, they won again on Sunday. They went to Chicago and won the
07:15bears. Offense has been dreadful. Bears were six and a half point favorites. Yes. Another
07:20big underdog one outright on Sunday. It has been a rough season for the bears. Offense.
07:27Caleb Williams certainly has been taking the brunt of that. Um, I think us as an offense,
07:32um, you know, we do have to find it right now. Um, here in this, in the, in this instance,
07:38um, just because, um, we're going, you know, we're getting close to, and it starts this
07:43week, um, playing versus teams like green Bay, um, and, and Detroit and Vikings and
07:47all of that. But obviously you have to take it one step at a time. And, um, you know,
07:51but right now is right now. Um, we took the sauce. We have to learn from it. We have this,
07:55um, this little bit of time, um, tonight and tomorrow. And then from there we're on a green
07:59Bay and, uh, we got to find ways to do it. Um, simple as that. All right. I woke up early.
08:04I did watch that game in Germany. At least it was exciting at the end giants and Panthers
08:09right down to the finish. Panthers kick a field goal giants, probably going to make
08:12a quarterback change. I would guess. How about the coaching bump, the firing of Dennis Allen,
08:17the hiring of Rizzy and the saints beat the Falcons as an underdog. And also the Vikings
08:22kicked four field goals. They beat the Jaguars 12 to seven, uh, was the final there in case
08:27you miss them Saturday, college football, uh, Alabama, all over LSU on Saturday night
08:32and Mississippi state beat Georgia. Those were the two big games in baseball. The Marlins
08:36hire Clayton McCullough.
08:37I'll be right back.
