00:00Hello, welcome to your latest weather update from the Met Office. After a gloomy and grey
00:05start to November, there is some sunshine on the way as we see high pressure redeveloping
00:09across the UK into the new working week. This weather front just clears southwards into
00:13the start of Monday, bringing some initial cloud through the rest of today. But then
00:17it's this area of high pressure that redevelops, bringing us those sunny skies and blue skies
00:22as we head into the start of the new working week. Back to today though, we have still
00:26got that weather front around across the southern half of the UK, so there will still be some
00:30cloudy skies and some outbreaks of rain and drizzle into the start of Monday morning,
00:34particularly for parts of Wales, southern central parts of England. But for the northern
00:37half of the UK, a different story, plenty of clear spells around, maybe one or two isolated
00:41showers across the northeast. And under those clear skies, we could see some mist and fog
00:45developing, particularly across Northern Ireland into the start of Monday. It will be quite
00:50a chilly start to the day on Monday, particularly for the northern half of the UK. Under those
00:53clear skies, temperatures dropping down into the low single figures, perhaps even some
00:57frost in places. But generally under that cloud across the southwest and the southern
01:01coast of England, it will be a bit of a milder start to the day on Monday. So that cloud
01:07across the south just lingering for a time during the morning, but slowly pushing its
01:11way southwards as we go through the daytime on Monday. And the mist and fog across Northern
01:15Ireland, perhaps a little slow to clear, but it will clear eventually. And that will leave
01:18a dry and bright day for most of us. Plenty of sunshine on offer and plenty of blue skies
01:23in store as well. Across eastern parts of England, there will still be one or two isolated
01:28showers, but these generally quite scattered in nature. And temperatures on Monday generally
01:32around average for the time of year 11 or 12 in the south and 10 or 11 further north.
01:36But it will be feeling pleasant in that sunshine as we then go through the rest of Monday evening.
01:41Any cloud across the very far southwest does eventually slip away offshore and it will
01:45generally be another dry night for most of us. Plenty of clear spells around, still one
01:49or two isolated showers across the very far east of England. But under those clear spells,
01:53that allow mist and fog to develop again, particularly across parts of Northern Ireland,
01:57Northern England and parts of Scotland too. Under those clear skies, it will also be another
02:02chilly night, particularly more widely across the UK on Monday night and into the start
02:06of Tuesday, with temperatures dropping again down into the low single figures and the northern
02:10half of the UK likely to see some frost in places. So, another chilly start to the day
02:15on Tuesday, quite widely across the UK. Again, that mist and fog across Northern Ireland
02:20could be a little slow to clear in places, but otherwise a dry and bright start for most
02:24of us. Still some isolated showers down in the southeast of England, these perhaps a
02:28little heavier than on Monday, but otherwise plenty of sunny spells on offer for most of
02:32us on Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures will be around about average again for the time
02:37of year, but still feeling pleasant where we do see that sunshine. There will be some
02:41more sunshine on the way on Wednesday and Thursday, but to find out more about that,
