00:00The Philippine Air Force will monitor the number of foreign aircraft that illegally entered the airspace of the Philippines.

00:12In the Philippine Rise, two Chinese research vessels were spotted.

00:18Jun Veneracion was spotted.

00:23In monitoring the 5th Fighter Wing of the Philippine Air Force,

00:27it was observed that the number of intrusion or illegal entry of foreign aircraft into the country's airspace.

00:33They are almost outside the 24 nautical mile limit.

00:38Sometimes they go near the 12 nautical mile limit, but maybe they are just testing us.

00:44And this is very concerning for us.

00:46It is difficult to say where the airplanes came from because they entered without permission.

00:53These may be military aircraft, but they can also be commercial.

00:58Because of the limited capacity, the Air Force cannot make an interception

01:03to most of the foreign aircraft that enter the airspace of the Philippines.

01:07It's very costly to intercept these intrusions, these aircraft, unmanned or manned.

01:15So we need to balance, we need to be selective.

01:18In the Philippine Rise, two Chinese research vessels were spotted by the Philippine Navy.

01:23But they think that the two ships are just avoiding the storm.

01:27Nothing to be scared of, nothing to be alarmed about.

01:30On the other hand, the situation in the West Philippine Sea is calm.

01:34There's a significant number of decrease of presence on the part of the Chinese government maritime forces

01:43because of the very bad weather condition in the West Philippine Sea.
