00:00Let's find out if the rains have an effect on the traffic flow in Metro Manila, just like in EDSA.

00:07Tina Panganiban-Ferez is live from EDSA. Tina?

00:15Mel, we're used to the slow traffic flow in EDSA every day.

00:19But this Christmas Eve, the traffic is faster, even if it's raining.

00:25The traffic continued this morning in the southbound lane of EDSA,

00:35at EDSA Camuning Flyover, Campo Crame, Ortigas, and Guadalupe.

00:40But the traffic slowed down this morning in the southbound lane of Santolan

00:45because there were cars queuing up for the flyover.

00:50When the traffic slowed down, the cars continued to run.

00:54In the northbound lane, there were no problems from Santolan Flyover to Cubao Underpass.

01:01But the traffic slowed down near Mega Q Mart because of the cars queuing up for the bus terminal.

01:10The northbound EDSA Camuning Flyover and EDSA Quezon Avenue Flyover were calm.

01:16There were also cars queuing up at EDSA North Avenue Intersection and going to Muñoz.

01:22The traffic in the U-Turn Slots was slow because the U-Turn Slots were merging.

01:30This afternoon, it was raining, but the traffic continued.

01:34The traffic in the southbound EDSA Camuning Flyover was fast,

01:38but the traffic in Cubao Underpass was slow.

01:41The traffic in Boni Avenue and southbound Santolan Flyover and southbound Shaw Underpass was slow.

01:51The cars were also moving in the southbound lane of Ortigas Flyover.

02:01There were several accidents that were recorded by the MMDA,

02:04not only in EDSA, but also in other roads.

02:08But even though there were injuries, the MMDA assured that they were able to help.

02:14And tonight, the malls will close early.

02:18The closing time is 7 or 8 p.m. this Christmas Eve.
