00:00President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. is deeply grateful to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim
00:06for the help he gave to those affected by the Christina and Leon earthquake.

00:15Following the disaster of the Christina and Leon earthquake,
00:18the help from other countries also poured in
00:21for the humanitarian assistance and disaster response efforts
00:24that the government is continuously doing.
00:27According to the latest NDRRMC data,
00:30the air assets of the help from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Brunei Darussalam
00:35have already responded to 60 operations.
00:38President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. is deeply grateful for this.
00:42In his conversation with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim,
00:45the President thanked Malaysia for the help it provided
00:49for the Philippines' response to the effects of the earthquake.
00:52The President is proud that the areas that were still submerged in the flood
00:56were still affected by the air assets of Malaysia.
00:58This is a reason for the families in need to receive help.
01:01The Chief Executive added that in the face of the country's opening
01:04due to the aftermath of the earthquake,
01:07he is delighted to see the assistance of Asian countries
01:10that are just showing their solidarity with the region.
01:13Because of the unparalleled action of the government,
01:15the amount of help that was provided to the affected by the Christina and Leon earthquake
01:19is increasing.
01:22This includes food and non-food items from the DSWD,
01:26OCD, and LGUs, as well as non-government organizations.
01:30More than a million family food packs have been distributed by the DSWD.
01:34Even now, the agency continues to provide assistance to those affected by the earthquake
01:40through the round-the-clock delivery of family food packs to the areas in need.
01:45This has made it easier for the local government to move forward,
01:48especially since several volunteers have already helped in repacking the FFPs.
01:52The government is still on alert in the face of the possible effects of the Marseille earthquake.
