00:25The Executive Board of the ASEAN Plus 3 was called to the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits in Vientiane, Laos.

00:34This is a clear line that there is a sufficient supply of food, such as rice, during a crisis.

00:40Based on the 2024 World Risk Index, the Philippines is one of the countries with the highest incidence of climate change.

00:50This has an effect on agriculture and food supply.

00:54That is why the Philippines supported the ASEAN Plus 3 Emergency Rice Reserve Agreement.

01:01This was agreed upon by the Association of Southeast Asian Nations,

01:06including China, Japan, and South Korea,

01:08which is willing to establish a food reserve that can be used in times of calamity or other emergencies.

01:16President Marcos J. R. Marcos Jr. encouraged the review of the ASEAN In-the-Trade and Goods Agreement

01:33He encouraged India to share its best practices as a pharmaceutical hub
