00:09where the 27th ASEAN-China Summit was held this morning.

00:28the ASEAN-China Code of Conduct for Peace in the West Philippine Sea.

00:42It was held by the President at the 27th ASEAN-China Summit in Vientiane, Laos.

00:47Despite positive developments in China, tensions in the West Philippine Sea remain.

00:54Corruption and threats continue.

00:57It can be recalled several times that the Philippines troops were flooded,

01:01plundered, and threatened by China,

01:04who are conducting maritime patrols and resupply missions.

01:10This was confirmed by the UNCLOS and the 1972 Convention on the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea.

01:19It should be serious in resolving differences to reduce tensions.

01:25Fast action is needed to stop both incidents.

01:30As for the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly,

01:34the President's statement was in support of the commitment

01:38to peacefully resolve misunderstandings and comply with international law.

01:44President Marcos emphasized the importance of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly

01:50to countries outside of ASEAN to discuss regional and international issues.

01:57President Marcos Jr. pushed for the implementation of inter-parliamentary diplomacy

02:03with a focus on ASEAN centrality and joint efforts in the vision of the region.
