00:00The Philippine-Korea Free Trade Agreement was ratified in the Business Forum
00:05led by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
00:08It was led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and South Korean President Yun Suk-yol
00:14where the sectors of business were discussed
00:17to jointly support the two countries.

00:24The diplomatic relations between the Philippines and South Korea
00:28particularly in terms of business
00:31was discussed in the Philippine-Korea Business Forum
00:33where South Korean President Yun Suk-yol attended.
00:36President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. told the Korean businessmen
00:40that the country's economy is strong.
00:42This was accompanied by the ratified Philippine-Korea Free Trade Agreement
00:45which aims to promote cooperation,
00:48sustainable business, and an active digital economy.
00:51The recently ratified Philippines-Korea Free Trade Agreement
00:55elevates our relations by reducing or eliminating tariffs on key products
01:02such as agricultural goods, electronics, and automotive components.
01:08According to President Ejecutivo,
01:10more than the business partnership,
01:11the real thing that makes the relationship between the two countries richer
01:14is the connection of its citizens
01:16who have the same goal, determination, and unity.
01:19This is the essence of true partnership.
01:22The ability to support one another as we ascend toward our shared goals,
01:27moving forward together with resolve, resilience, and the spirit of camaraderie.
01:34Aside from the Federation of Korean Industries,
01:36President Marcos Jr. also introduced the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry or PCCI,
01:41Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Agriculture,
01:44and other government and private sector agencies
01:47to the important role they play in the cooperation that will advance the economy of each country.
01:52Each of you, 12 Philippine and 12 Korean companies and organizations,
01:58bring a wealth of experience and expertise.
02:02Your presence symbolizes the cooperation that propels us towards a shared success.
02:07Together, let history record
02:10that this was the moment when our two nations embarked upon a journey of unprecedented growth and prosperity.
02:18In the end, the President thanked everyone for their participation
02:21and he hopes that the country can use the partnership between South Korea
