The start of the evening will feature clear skies in most parts in the east of the UK while it will largely be overcast in the west, with some light rain in southern Scotland. 00:00Hello there, it's Tuesday the 5th of November and if you are stepping out to enjoy a display
00:05of fireworks this evening, most places are likely to be dry. This is how it looks around
00:12Tuesday evening this evening. You can see some clearer skies across Scotland down towards
00:16eastern England. Further west a lot of cloud, a little rain though across Northern Ireland
00:21clipping the far west of Scotland as we head through the morning and where that cloud is
00:24thick enough some patchy rain and drizzle. Now this cloud will lower onto the hills and
00:29mountains and under some clearer skies expect some mist and fog patches. In fact turning
00:34colder across the north east of Scotland yet again. Temperatures dipping down to low single
00:38figures across one or two spots and a bit of a chilly start to the day where you see
00:43some starry skies towards the east. Further west temperatures holding up on the mild side
00:48but wherever you are it's a murky start to Wednesday. Lots of low cloud, poor visibility
00:53particularly over the higher routes but you may run into some fog patches also if you're
00:57driving because yes the air is just a bit moist and also a wind which is light allowing
01:03for this fog to form overnight. High pressures anchored across Europe extending its influence
01:09towards the UK. Bit more of a breeze through Wednesday across the western periphery of
01:14Scotland and even the far west of Northern Ireland and first thing you could see a little
01:18bit of rain. Elsewhere after that low cloud, dull skies, grey skies and a bit damp in places
01:25we'll see some broken clouds. So places like the Moray Firth, Aberdeenshire, Tyne and Wear,
01:31Newcastle, Northumberland down towards perhaps even the North York Moors. That's where we'll
01:37see some clearer skies the far north of Wales perhaps seeing that cloud break as well. For
01:42Northern Ireland a fair amount of cloud through the day and the cloud will be stubborn further
01:46south as temperatures arrive around 15 if you catch any brighter skies 14 in the south.
01:52So as we head into Wednesday evening and overnight it's pretty much a repeat performance.
01:57Yes there'll be more of a breeze from the west country, Irish sea coast, Northern Ireland
02:00and western Scotland. Again clouds just drifting across the sky elsewhere. It will turn rather
02:06murky in places with some low clouds, some hill fog. Temperatures perhaps not as low
02:11across Scotland with more of a wind here but certainly temperatures dipping down to around
02:168 to 10 degrees Celsius and yes again some dampness in the air as we start the day on
02:21Thursday. Through Thursday into the afternoon favoured spots we'll see some brighter skies.
02:26It could break elsewhere but still a legacy of cloud just sitting under that high pressure.
02:31Here's your outlook through Friday. It's pretty much spot the difference. Temperatures around
02:36average for this time of year. So wherever you are enjoy the fireworks through Tuesday
02:40evening and for the next few days remaining rather calm although we'll see more of a breeze
