00:00Our last wish for our loved ones in life is for them to be well and safe.
00:08But we often hold on to their memories and anything that reminds us of them.
00:16Even their digital footprints, information, and personal data that sometimes we don't intend to share with others.
00:26There are still times when the Yumao family livestreams their internment for their distant relatives.
00:35But what if the Yumao family doesn't want that?
00:38Did you know that they still have the right to protect their privacy?
00:44They can also protect their reputation against violations and issues caused by the Right to be Forgotten.
00:56This is the right of a person to protect their personal information, data, and digital footprint.
01:04Let's learn more about the Right to be Forgotten here at MIL-101.
01:11RRSP, the Right to be Forgotten is a legal and ethical concept that gives a person the right to delete their personal information on the internet that could damage their reputation.
01:34In other words, this is a way to preserve the dignity of an individual, especially their digital footprints, that could lead to embarrassment or damage to their reputation.
01:48This is often applied by people who still want to delete their personal information about them in the digital world.
01:55But contrary to popular belief, this is still applicable even to people who have passed away.
02:01Even when it comes to libel, even if you killed someone and damaged their reputation, you can still be charged with libel.
02:08If we talk about the rights of Yumao, they still have the right to preserve their memories, online information, posts, photos, and other data that could be used against them, their family, and their loved ones.
02:22The Right to be Forgotten is important because it gives the Yumao family the power to delete or delete some information that could damage their reputation.
02:36This is why their memories will be preserved in a positive way.
02:41Meanwhile, there is something called Facebook Memorialization, where the Yumao family can request to memorialize their loved ones' Facebook accounts.
02:57If an account is memorialized, it will remain on the platform as an online memory of the Yumao family.
03:04Friends and family can visit the account to pay their respects, but it will remain protected from the changes in the account.
03:13Another important aspect of this is the privacy of the deceased's personal messages.
03:18These will remain private even if the family has access to the memorialized account.
03:24This is a way to show respect for the private life of the Yumao, even if they are no longer around.
03:31In this new era, some families are using live-streaming for eternity.
03:38Through live-streaming, the Yumao family can give their loved ones a chance to travel to a faraway destination,
03:47and to show their respect to the Yumao family, even if it is only online.
03:51This is a way for the Yumao family to show respect to the Yumao family, even if they are no longer around.
03:58The Yumao family's best move is to ask for forgiveness from the family,
04:03and to honor the known wishes and beliefs of the deceased, their cultural background,
04:09and their first conversations, or what we call a will.
04:13Through this, the decision will be more assured,
04:17in accordance with both legal and ethical considerations, while honoring the memory of the deceased.
04:25Overall, the Right to be Forgotten, Facebook Memorialized Accounts, and live-streaming of ETERMED
04:32provide a more modern way for us to open up and look back at the memories of our loved ones in life.
04:40But this is also a reminder that the dignity of the Yumao family should be respected,
04:46and that negative impacts on them or their memories should be avoided,
04:52so that they can also be more peaceful.
04:56That is what we discussed this morning here at MIL 101.
