00:00Almost 5,000 passengers were stranded in different parts of the country.
00:04The Department of Social Welfare and Development continues to distribute aid to them.

00:15According to the latest DOST data,
00:18a super typhoon, the Pepito Typhoon, has already happened.
00:21At present, the number of people affected by the typhoon has risen to signal number 5
00:26and the number of people affected by the typhoon has remained at signal number 4 in some parts of Camarines Sur.
00:32Meanwhile, in the last wave of the Philippine Coast Guard,
00:35almost 5,000 passengers, including truck drivers and cargo helpers,
00:40were stranded in 61 provinces in the country
00:43due to the bad weather caused by the Pepito Typhoon.
00:47The most affected are still the Bicol regions,
00:50Eastern Visayas, Southern Tagalog, Central Visayas, and Western Visayas.
00:56Aside from the passengers,
00:58almost 2,000 rolling cargos, 26 ships, and several motor boats were unable to travel.
01:05Some officials of the government also canceled their scheduled trips and reminded the public.

01:47were deployed throughout the Bicol region to assess the situation and provide assistance.
01:54A storm surge of more than three meters was also expected,
01:57especially in Eastern and Southern Luzon and Samar Islands.
