00:00Hello. After a fine day across England and Wales today, it will be turning increasingly
00:05cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle into Monday. So heavy spells of rain across
00:10Northern Ireland, Scotland, that will gradually sink its way southwards into north-western
00:14England, Wales, the Midlands and then eventually towards the south-east of England as we start
00:20Monday morning. A bit breezy out there as well, but with a lot of cloud around and outbreaks
00:25of rain, that will also keep the temperatures up. So it's actually going to be a milder
00:29night to come as we start Monday morning. Temperatures here, 10, 11, but possibly even
00:3413 or 14 degrees across parts of Northern Ireland and Scotland. But that does mean a
00:41quite murky start to the new working week. A lot of cloud around with outbreaks of rain
00:46and drizzle on and off. Could be quite persistent at times across parts of Wales, especially
00:51over the highest ground and then sinking towards the south-west into Devon and Cornwall later.
00:57We may see some glimmers of sunshine as the cloud breaks towards the far south-east and
01:02maybe across north-eastern parts of England as well. But on the whole, it's a murky picture
01:07out there with a lot of cloud. But it's also going to be staying rather mild too, 15, 16,
01:13possibly even 17 degrees in the best of the sunshine towards the far south-east. So as
01:19we go through Monday evening and overnight, not too much changes. It's going to be staying
01:24murky out there with low cloud towards the south, but outbreaks of rain and drizzle persisting.
01:30There may be some cloud breaks and where we see any breaks in the cloud, we may see some
01:34mist and fog patches also developing to start Tuesday. But otherwise, still staying mild
01:41out there to start Tuesday, 10 or 11 degrees, but a little bit cooler across Northern Ireland
01:46too. So as we go through Tuesday, a mild start. Any low cloud, mist and fog should gradually
01:53start lifting and breaking. We should see more in the way of sunny spells developing
01:57through Tuesday, especially across the southern parts of England and into north-eastern Scotland.
02:03But the cloud will still be thick enough for some outbreaks of rain and drizzle, especially
02:08developing towards the south into Tuesday afternoon. But otherwise, temperatures still
02:15holding up, perhaps just a little bit cooler towards the north, but otherwise in the sunshine,
02:2015 or 16 degrees. So as we go through the week, we actually start seeing higher pressure
02:26building into Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, but it won't give us water wall sunshine.
02:32There'll still be a lot of low cloud around and mist and fog to start. We'll be largely
02:37dry though, but we do have some weather fronts just to keep an eye on towards the far north.
02:42So if you are off on half term, largely dry, often cloudy, but hopefully dry for anyone
02:48out on Halloween on Thursday evening. But for more details on the forecast where you
