00:15It's time. It's time. It's time once again. All right, you know, I haven't done any dessert item in a while
00:23So I got this recipe sent to me by Mark
00:28Bachmeier and one of my light bulbs is flashing blinking and
00:34Mark Bachmeier sent me a recipe called amazing homemade peach cobbler
00:43So that's exactly what I am making today the first step is we gotta cut up the peaches
00:50So let's cut up the peaches
00:53You could either you could either take the
00:57Peel them or not. I'm not gonna peel them. Yes. I see a lot of people need to get rid of this peach pit
01:05And we'll just cut up we'll
01:08Probably should cut out somebody who will figure it out
01:13is to cut the peaches
01:17into slices slicing up the peaches by the way, I got my
01:22oven preheating to
01:25375
01:29375
01:35Cut this little piece out
01:38Cut this little piece out
01:41All the little area that's surrounded it
01:45All right. Now here's our paring knife
01:47You actually cut out this area a little bit better now
01:50Did he get out the peach pit get out the peach pit don't want to eat it. Anyway, you get out the peach pit
01:58Get out the peach pit. Oh
02:01Yeah, oh this will make things a lot easier. Look at this. I scooped out the peach pit
02:06And now I can use this thing and chop it up using the tandem
02:12Rock and chop remember to rock and chop chef Tony
02:17Chef Tony
02:21Shut up chef Tony
02:24Right
02:27This would make these a lot easier
02:31Do do do do hopefully there's no catastrophe and I can show this in fast motion
02:42Ripping into the peach
02:47Getting
02:50Rid of the pit
02:54Gonna make peach copper. Yeah, that's it
03:07Yeah, that's it
03:11Yeah, that's it
03:14All right
03:26Chop-chop-chop
03:32Chop-chop-chop
03:44Boy
03:55All right, I think that's about it we got our peaches already
03:58I'm gonna put them on the stove and heat them up a little bit. You got our peaches
04:02I've been starting up a lemon zest here. So let's zest up this lemon
04:08Zest it up nicely
04:10and put the lemon zest in we're gonna be putting this on a
04:14Medium heat
04:20So, let's zest up this lemon nicely
04:26Zest zest zest zest zesting up the lemon zest zest zest zest zesting up the lemon
04:36Zesting zesting don't be resting we're gonna zest zest zest the lemon
04:42And we're gonna squeeze a little bit of this juice in here, too
04:55All right
04:58Just gonna squeeze in a little juice don't need a lot so squeeze in the juice
05:04Oh
05:09Shit don't want to get the pits in here goddamn these fucking pits are everywhere motherfuckers
05:16All right
05:19Now I'm gonna add in a cup of sugar
05:24Let me dust this stuff is excess zest out
05:28Spilt a little bit. I'm gonna put a cup of sugar into here
05:33And now we're gonna
05:35Stir it up with our nice little wooden spoon
05:39And we got to heat this up
05:41So it starts to percolate a little bit
05:44Yep, stirring that sugar stirring that zest
05:49Yes, that's right, that's why we never rest right
05:53Now while the peaches are heating up
05:56We got to mix up our batter mix up the batter mix up the batter let's mix them up quite nicely
06:05Mix up the batter mix up the batter
06:08Batter it up quite good. All right. We need one cup of flour
06:14Where is my cup? Here's my cup
06:20So we got to get one cup of flour
06:25Now of course
06:28You probably need a little bit more than one cup. Yes, when I don't have a goddamn motherfucking sifter
06:33so let's put
06:35one cup
06:38And just a little bit more just for that just make sure it is about a cup
06:44Almost time to get some new flour
06:49Okay, we got one cup of
06:53flour
06:55Of course, I gotta continue keeping up with the speed of the video
06:58So we got one cup of flour
07:00And we got a cup of sugar
07:02And we got a cup of water
07:04And we got a cup of water
07:06And we got a cup of milk
07:08And we got a cup of water
07:10And we got a cup of water
07:12Continue to keep an eye on the peaches over here
07:21Stir them up a little bit
07:28All right, one cup of flour then we put in
07:35One teaspoon of baking powder, so let's get our teaspoon out
07:42One teaspoon of baking powder
07:49Baking powder, oops, this thing hasn't been opened yet, huh baking powder
07:58All right one teaspoon of baking powder
08:04Here we go
08:08All right
08:13Baking powder
08:15Says put in about a how much salt
08:19Half a teaspoon of salt so let's put about a half a teaspoon of salt in here
08:29Half a teaspoon of salt
08:42Um
08:49Okay, we need another cup of sugar another cup of sugar
08:56If I recall this was almost a cup plus this there we go good
09:06All right one cup of sugar
09:08And then we need a cup of milk, so let's get a cup of milk
09:23Peach cobbler peach cobbler gonna make some peach cobbler
09:31peach
09:32cobbler peach
09:34Cobbler peach cobbler boo. All right, then start with whisk whisking this up
09:59All right, we wish this up a little
10:04You know, I might as well just pour the rest of this fucking flour in here
10:10If you know what sifting it might be a cup anyway
10:34Got it. I think we got our batter beautiful. Our peaches are getting pretty close to where we want them. So let's melt a
10:42stick of butter
10:44One full 1 1⁄2 cup of butter is what we're looking for. We're gonna break this up and put it into our little microwave
10:53And melt the butter complete
10:56All right now that we have our
11:00Peaches reaching a nice little boil. We're getting really hot you can put our stuff together
11:07So let's take this butter that we just melt it. Oof a little hot a little hot
11:13Little hot pour into this baking dish
11:19Like that beautiful
11:22Now we're gonna take our batter
11:24That we battered up before let's put this
11:28Peaches right here for a second. Let's take our batter
11:32Hopefully it doesn't splatter and
11:36Pour it in here
11:38nice and even like
11:40Use a rubber spatula to get out as much of we can out of the bowl
11:48Rubber spatula rubber spatula spread it out evenly
11:57Rubber
12:05Spreading out the batter
12:08Like it's a batter even as we can
12:12With the butter over here a lot of butter a lot of butter
12:21All right now we put this aside
12:23And now we pour in our peaches pour in peaches, and we'll also put those in pretty evenly
12:42All right, we got our spread it out as best we can
12:48All right
12:51Sprinkle this with some cinnamon and nutmeg so let's
12:58Sprinkle some cinnamon
13:05And a little bit of nutmeg
13:13Peach peach peach cobbler
13:17Here we go
13:19Now we're gonna put this into the oven and we are going to be cooking it for
13:2745 minutes, so let's
13:30Take this and put it into our oven
13:34375 it's been preheating quite nicely
13:38We've been in here for 45 minutes
13:41Let's see how we're looking with our peach cobbler. It looks like it burnt a little bit
13:48But there we go now we gotta let this cool down before we serve it, but let's see how it tastes when it's done
14:01Cooling down
14:02Cooling down
14:04Cooling down since this isn't really necessarily a meal and this is peach cobbler
14:09It's sitting for a couple hours. Let sit let rest let it stand
14:13Let's see how it came out of course
14:16Mark Brockmeyer sent me this recipe
14:19Let's see how it came out and since it's not a meal so much. It's dessert so time to serve dessert
14:27Time to serve dessert let me
14:31Scrape that off the side over here time to serve the dessert
14:36Go flip it up
14:38Time to serve dessert
14:42And you know peach cobbler you can always put some ice cream or whipped cream on it. I'm just gonna
14:47Raw dog it kind of way kind of less calories that way I guess
14:51But let's see how this peach cobbler came out
14:55Time to serve dessert
14:59Time to serve dessert
