00:10In today's video, we're checking out the cameras of this summery yellow phone, the Samsung A34.
00:16And basically, the Samsung A34 is the Samsung A54.
00:19I have a video on that.

00:21It's the Samsung A54's more affordable little sister.
00:26And so, if you're new to the channel,
00:27this type of video is when I bring around the phone to see
00:31just how these cameras perform in real-life scenarios.
00:34I will be vlogging with these cameras,
00:36talking about my experiences with this phone throughout the day.
00:39And mind you, this video will be exported in 4K
00:42because this phone, even if it's a more affordable device,
00:45can do 4K with the rear and selfie cameras.
00:48I'm excited about that.
00:49I'm actually late for my meeting, so let's go.
01:23It's that same thing from the A54 where there is a fun mode.
01:29And well, basically, it just gives you different filters.

02:07And there is a super steady mode which is what we're shooting with right now.
02:12It does downgrade the video to full HD 30fps.

02:39I actually absolutely love the look of this phone.
02:42It's nice and bright and especially on a hot summer day,
02:45it just matches everything.
02:49But yeah, also it doesn't really feel like a cheap phone.
02:54It isn't as premium feeling as let's say the Samsung S23.
02:59It is a plastic back.
03:01The frame is also plastic but it's a pretty cute thing.
03:06So this is a 48MP main shooter, an 8MP wide and a 5MP macro camera.
03:12As to what you can shoot with a 5MP macro camera,
03:16well, I did take some sample shots while we were eating.
03:27Up front, that's a 13MP camera on that notch.
03:30And like you saw, it can shoot in 4K 30fps video.
03:47Apparently, the color is a thing.
03:50It's a very summer feeling.
03:53Ooh, look at that.
04:16And we have been shooting in 4K.
04:25That's what you're watching right now with the front-facing cameras.
04:28And previous videos at the restaurant, they were also in 4K.
04:32This phone shoots in 1080p 30fps and 1080p 60fps.
04:37And when you switch to 1080p 30, it does say that the default shooting is at that resolution.
04:44Another thing to note is that it's only at 1080p 30fps where you can do wide
04:48and steady mode like you saw earlier.
04:501080p 30fps wide, 1x, 2x, and this can zoom up until 10x.
04:59That's Nicole, that's my camera out there.
05:04Wide, 1x, full HD 60fps this time, can only do 1x, zoom in up until 10x, back to 1x.
05:164K 30 this time, which is the resolution we've been shooting at, and it can zoom up until 1x.

05:26Portraits came out decent on this phone, although I will say that it doesn't
05:36detect portrait shooting for whole body shots.
05:39And also, HDR was doing its work.
05:42These photos of Nicole were very, very backlit.
05:45And as you can see, the phone did adjust so that her face is bright enough for the photo.
05:51Unfortunately, that meant that the background is overexposed.
05:54But at least you have a usable photo of her face.
06:08Switching to 1080p 60fps right now.
06:13We are on wide.
06:164K again.
06:18I mean, we're just walking around at this point trying to find a spot that's not so hot.
06:23We're melting.
06:42It's actually quite interesting because there is no depth camera, depth sensor on this phone.
06:47And yet, you saw our portrait shots and those look pretty good.
06:52I mean, granted that we are in very nicely lit scenarios.
06:57So, we'll see later on when we test out these cameras for low light,
07:02how those photos and videos will look.
