00:00Testing out the cameras of the Samsung S23 with a vlog.
00:08Good morning! So it's my last day in London today but that also means another adventure.
00:13I am shooting with the Samsung S23. Yes, the tinier one because this is just more comfortable
00:21for my hands. Now to recap, both phones, the S23 plus and the S23 which I'm shooting right now,
00:27have the same cameras and the same chipset. So that's a 15 megapixel main shooter,
00:33a 12 megapixel wide and a 10 megapixel telephoto shooter. On the other hand,
00:38those selfie cameras are now 12 megapixel shooters from the previous phone's 10 megapixel.
00:46But yeah, let's leave this hotel room and get on to the vlog.
00:49By the way, this is the fit check for the last day. Why? There we go.
00:55We're at the Greenwich Observatory and oh my gosh, the view you guys. And by the way,
01:20we're shooting with a front-facing camera of the S23. This is 4k 30 and I think outside of
01:29when I show you guys what the other resolutions look like, we will be
01:33shooting in 4k 30 for most of this video. The view though. And so this is across the river
01:41but our hotel is over there apparently. This is 1x, 4k 30, 3x and this is 12x.
01:53And you can go up until, why? 4k 60 this time, 1x and you can zoom up until, oh that's a person.
02:0310x. Back up until 1x. You can also do 60 fps on 4k wide but the whole thing about it is that
02:15you have to like pause the video to go from 1x into all that zoom and the wide. Of course,
02:218k is also available. Zoom up until 6x, back to 1x.
02:38Honestly, I'm loving the fact that most Samsung phones have 4k on the selfie cameras now. This
02:44is something we always, always need. And not only does this phone have 4k 30, it has 4k 60.
02:52That is what you're looking at right now, 4k 60. Enough with the tech talk, let's go find the
02:58Prime Origin. Friends, you are looking at the Prime Origin. It is that line over there that
03:04everyone's trying to straddle because technically if you're on that line, you are at the division
03:14of the world.
03:19Front-facing video 4k portrait mode. So yeah, quick note, we are at the Prime Origin which is
03:28basically GMT0. It's GMT. It's the zero point and it's what literally divides the east from the
03:37west. Which is again, I reiterate, why people have been straddling that line. So yes, this is
03:45what everyone's doing.
03:55I did it. East and west basically. Pretty cool. Also, can I just say I love the Samsung feature
04:06where they let you flip the video while you're shooting.

05:00okay, so we've been seeing this and we've been wondering what it is.
05:04It's the Queen's house and this is zooming in three times.

05:33Steady mode on wide right now. HDR turns off though but this is what walking talking looks like.

05:52And you know, for comparison's sake, this is what walking talking looks like without steady mode.
06:03So we're actually quite confused as to which particular building is the Queen's house. I mean
06:19this massive area feels like it's in the right place. We're gonna look this up a little later
06:26on and see what's going on. But either way, cool place. So it seems that we missed the entrance
06:35which was up front. We were at the Queen's house, we just couldn't find the door. We're trying again.
06:42That's sad but we found the door. There we go, we found the door. That's closed but we found it.
07:42My ears are falling off. So we were trying to get to
07:52the sky garden but it was closed for the day and now we're just gonna find another spot.
08:03Oh my gosh, I'm so happy this building is here blocking the wind because I was,
08:07my ears were gonna fall off.
08:09I think we accidentally ordered four drinks.
