00:14In today's video, we're taking your first look at the Infinix Note 40 Pro+.
00:17We're in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where the global launch is being held but lucky we got
00:22our hands on the Infinix Note 40 Pro+.
00:25Now one of the big deal things about this device is that it can do fast charge 2.0.
00:30But before we talk about that, let's unbox this first.
00:55Alright.
01:25It was a cool day one and the location was the F1 Sepang International Circuit.
01:53This is where they announced the Infinix Note 40 series which included 4 phones, the
01:57Infinix MagKit accessories, more on these later, and even the XBuds 3 and the XWatch
02:023.
02:03Now it was only fitting we were at a speedway considering it's where fast things happen.
02:07And the big Infinix Note 40 Pro++ feature, ultra fast charging.
02:11Like crazy fast.
02:13But more on that later, we'll do a battery test, stay tuned.
02:15Anyway at this event, there were fast cars, very fast cars drifting, and even a cool light
02:21exhibit with the Note 40 Pro+.
02:23When I move the phone, the light reacts to it depending on my movement.
02:28And this is really cool because you're using the built-in gyroscope in here to make that
02:33happen.
02:34This is also cool.
02:51So that whole bit signifies how fast charging is on this phone.
02:57This is an amazing light installation.
03:21So it's the next day, we're taking a tour of Kuala Lumpur.
03:23And the first stop on our itinerary is Kwa Chai Hong or their Chinatown.
03:27But before we move on to this pretty place, first off, let me just say that I woke up
03:33with this dead.
03:34Because of course, nobody got time to charge and on trips like this, you usually don't
03:38have a lot of time because you're just going, going, going.
03:40But this can charge from 0 to 100 in 30 minutes.
03:45Well, 31 minutes according to my test.
03:47I was able to do that this morning.
03:49From 0 to 40% in 10 minutes.
03:50In 15 minutes, it got to 57%.
03:53And it was crazy because it was at the 74% mark in 21 minutes.
03:57Now, what's amazing is that this isn't even the fastest charging speed this phone can do.
04:02We did smart mode charging, which balances heat and charging speed, but there's hyper
04:07mode charging.
04:08And this promises 50% in just 8 minutes.
04:11That's crazy.
04:12You also get other battery features like reverse charging or bypass charging.
04:18And of course, that wireless mag charge and the mag charge accessories.
04:22That charging speed is crazy considering this has a 4600mAh battery in it.
04:28And if I didn't get to charge, I have this, which is to me the thinnest MagSafe power
04:32bank I've ever seen.
04:34This has 3020mAh and what's great is that this Android phone does MagSafe charging.
04:40That's also why this came with that charging pad when we unboxed it.
04:43That's fast charge 2.0 for you.
04:48We're finally sitting down and I'm holding the mic up to my phone because there is music
05:03playing and I am hoping that I don't get copyrighted because of the ambient sound.
05:09But yeah, basically, this is one sleek phone too.
05:12I mean, look at that.
05:13And this is with case on already.
05:15Aside from that, you of course get a curved display.
05:18And you guys know I am team curved screen.
05:20And no, I don't want to hear any more arguments about it being hard to get a screen protector
05:23because this phone comes with a screen protector.
05:25Up front, that is also an in-display fingerprint scanner.
05:28On the right side, you get your volume rockers, your unlock button.
05:31At the bottom, speaker grills, USB-C ports, SIM tray.
05:35And up top, you get even more speakers.
05:37And as you can see, that does say JBL because audio on this phone is by JBL.
05:42Okay, I said a lot of things and if it gets copyrighted by the sounds, that's gonna suck.
05:47And then I'm just gonna VO this, so.
05:55Walking and talking, this is with steady mode on this phone.
05:59But it does downgrade to 1080p.
06:01We've drank here before.
06:03Such a pretty place.
06:43Found a friend.
06:51So we've been shooting with the phone throughout the day.
06:53And this thing reps a triple cam setup on the back.
06:56With a main camera, 108MP shooter which can do 3x optical zoom plus OIS.
07:03It has a 2MP depth camera and a 2MP macro camera as well.
07:08Up front, that's a 32MP selfie camera.
07:12Let's go.
07:31So we actually found a not market place.
07:35We're at the coffee shop bookstore area because it's hot.

09:32A few things that I wanted to say that I didn't get to talk about during the vlog.
09:35Number 1, I absolutely love the halo lighting function on this.
09:39I've never seen halo lighting that was quite this pretty.
09:42It isn't just an indicator light.
09:43There are colors on the back of this phone.
09:46And you can change between different patterns.
09:48And you can switch around which notifications you'd want.
09:51Now, this thing is powered by a MediaTek D725G chip.
09:55You have a base of 12GB of RAM with an option to upgrade to 24.
09:58There's a vapor chamber on here which should be good for keeping the phone cool.
10:02Especially for gaming.

10:08And finally, yes, this phone is 5G capable.
