00:13Today we're going out and doing things with the Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus 5G.
00:18Just to jog your memory, we were at the global launch of this phone in the F1 circuit in
00:23Sepang, Malaysia, racetrack because this phone has really fast charging and a lot of cool
00:28battery features which we're also checking out today.
00:31But before we move on, a big shout out to our friends from Infinix for partnering with
00:35me on this video so we can make this whole thing happen.
00:39Back to the program.
00:40In this video, we're taking a look at a day in the life with this phone just to see what
00:45the Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus 5G can do in real life scenarios.
00:50That includes how the battery performs, what other features this phone has.
00:54We're also checking out the cameras.
00:55And all other things we encounter with this device throughout my normal day.
01:00Let's go.
01:01We are starting late today, way later than I would've wanted because we're tired and
01:11we're busy and honestly, the 4,600mAh battery on this, it wouldn't die.
01:16So from this morning, I had like 30++% and I just had to drain the battery before we
01:23could do this video because the first thing we're doing today is we're doing a charge
01:27test.
01:28The Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus has 100W charging which means it's supposed to be really, really
01:33fast.
01:34And since I don't measure time with time but with tasks I need to do, I'm gonna see just
01:38how far it'll get me when I charge this phone while I do my normal makeup.
01:43So we have 15% on this phone, a bare face.
01:47I have the 100W charging brick that this phone came with.
01:51Let's plug it in.
01:52Fast charging starts now.
01:56And it does say all around fast charge now and we can see that moving.
01:59Now apparently there's also a hyper charge feature which can charge this phone to 50%
02:05in 8 minutes which is crazy.
02:07But what I actually really like is that they're smart about their fast charging.
02:12As we all know, these fast charging speeds can degrade your battery depending on how
02:16it's done.
02:17And so for this phone, there is actually a smart charging mode which sort of makes sure
02:22that you charge fast but also that it doesn't degrade your battery.
02:27This is what that looks like.
02:28So you have a smart charge option and a low temp charge option.
02:31I like that.
02:32We're not just going fast, we're being smart about it.
02:35Anyway, let's start on this thing.
02:37It's not gonna be an intricate process.
02:39I have sunscreen on already.
02:47Oh crap.

02:52We're at 30% now and my camera died but it's still charging.
02:58Like, in the time I sat here wondering how I'm gonna fix my camera that died, it charged

03:11But it's not gonna get fixed so the time is going and it's now 34% and I'm still here

03:18I'm just gonna put on makeup cause look at this.

03:24To be fair though, it's been like 7 minutes and it's at 40%.
03:29This is driving me crazy.
03:31This is such a hard video but I'm just gonna put everything into this video because that's
03:36what happened.
03:37Because I haven't even like gotten my face done and we're at 44%.
03:42From 15% to 44%, I haven't, I've only put on my foundation and if I have to drain it
03:48all over again it's gonna take how many more days?
03:50The world's falling apart and the phone's still charging.

03:55So, so this cam that I'm shooting with tells me that like it's been recording for 10 minutes
04:02and it's still 30 and it's 49%.
04:07This is the first charge test that I did where like I'm actually trying, I'm like panicking
04:13because it keeps on charging and I'm, I'm not, I'm...
04:18And by the way, it's like, it really is only Erin's day so it's not like I need a full face.
04:23I'm just gonna do eyeliner and eyelashes and I'm done.
04:2712.32 now and we're at 56%.
04:30I can't believe I was panicking because of the phone charging so fast.
04:33Well, I think I messed up one eye.
04:3515 minutes, we're at 63%.
04:40You never have to charge fast if you have this phone on you because every time you plug
04:47it in a little bit, it's gonna charge really fast so you won't have to do those overnight
04:52charges ever again.
04:54I'm skipping the eyeshadow color yet.
04:56Keep on forgetting how, how pigmented these are.

05:00Well, what we are is almost 20 minutes in and we're at 70%.
05:07Okay, first of all, I knew this phone would charge fast.
05:10I also knew that my makeup, wait, focus on me.
05:13Eyes on me.
05:14I also knew that my makeup routine wasn't that crazy but I didn't even do concealer
05:21or my eyes.
05:23I just did eyeliner and I just did my simple makeup routine and it's up at 70%.
05:28I thought we'd get like to 50 but we are officially done.
05:34But we are at 15 to 76% as I did my makeup.
05:41That is impressive.
06:05It is 5.20 p.m. and we are at 62% battery.
06:10We just spent the whole afternoon doing errands which included my nails so that it could match
06:16this nice vegan leather back on this phone.
06:22But yeah, it is a good looking phone and it's a very sleek one.
06:27Specifically, I like the fact that even with the case, it's pretty sleek.
06:30So this is the case and the case is the thing that gives MagSafe capabilities to this device.
06:36Without the case, this is what that looks like.
06:38And again, sleek phone.
06:40And that curved glass.
06:42Gorilla glass.
06:43So you bet you this is a very durable device.
06:46No, I won't drop it.
06:48But also, throughout the whole day, I have been on this phone with, surprise, my notes for this video.
06:55My SIM is in here.
06:56I've been talking to people with this phone, multitasking.
06:59Again, me with the many open windows.
07:02And I've had no issues thus far.
07:04This is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720 5G.
07:08And yes, you heard right.
07:09That is a 5G device.
07:10And we have 5G right now.
07:12Anyway, that is the 5.23 p.m. update.
07:17Off to the next thing.
07:18Oh, wait, wait.
07:19Before we leave, as it turns out, someone has low battery.
07:23And it's not me because I'm on Infinix Note40 Pro+.
07:27Another cool thing about the battery, it can do reverse wireless charge.
07:31Where is the battery charge?
07:34Reverse wireless charging.
07:42Dude, isn't that cool?
07:44Such useful battery features, honestly.
07:58Time check, it is 8.26 and we're at 39%.
08:16Now, we've been shooting with these cameras.
08:19And it's a triple cam setup with a 108 megapixel main shooter.
08:23And this 108 megapixel shooter also has an OIS and 3x lossless zoom.
08:29Okay, this is not the most flattering shot but yeah.
08:31And we're also shooting with that 32 megapixel selfie camera.
08:36And this isn't the first time I've been shooting with this phone.
08:40Here are some samples from our last time we were using this.
08:44And of course, now let's try some low light.
09:07Next morning at 9.30am, this phone still had 23% on it.
09:12It's 1pm and we're at 18%.
09:15Now, granted it's been a busy day but imagine this has been on for like the last 24 hours.
09:23It's quite funny because yesterday I did bring this Infinix MagSafe battery.
09:28That's like the thinnest thing ever because I also wanted to showcase that this phone had other MagSafe accessories.
09:35Aside from the MagSafe wireless charger that this phone comes with.
09:39But alas, that 4600mAh battery pulled through and I haven't had to charge until now.
09:45And since that whole idea failed because the battery was just too good, we're charging now.
09:51I absolutely love this thing.
09:53Before we end this video, I want to mention a few of the things that I enjoyed with this device.
09:59Aside from the fact that battery is king on this, I'm absolutely loving the halo lighting feature.
10:03We've seen different notification alerts on other devices.
10:07This isn't new but I personally feel that this is the best implementation of that.
10:12Rainbow lighting on the back for notifications plus the fact that when it isn't lit up, it just matches the module.
10:19I love that.
10:20Another thing that I didn't get to show you in this day in the life because I was out is that this phone is also pretty great for watching media.
10:27Coupled with JBL Hi-Res speakers, this is what that looks and sounds like.
