00:00The camera added funds to various social services programs of the government for the next year.
00:05As well as other programs for education, agriculture, and health.

00:16To further strengthen the government's assistance to our countrymen,
00:20the camera raised funds for social services under the 2025 General Appropriations Bill.
00:28According to the House Committee on Appropriations Chair Elizalde Co,
00:31this was the decision of the House Small Committee that it was ordered by a low-ranking executive
00:36to amend the individual and institutional amendments in the camera version of the Pano Calang Pundo.
00:43More than P292 billion was raised by congressmen for the improvement of social services,
00:50social safety nets, and food security.
00:54As one of the main amendments of the camera in the budget proposal,
00:58P39.8 billion was raised for the AICS program of the DSWD.
01:04The same amount was also raised for the Ayuda sa Kapos Ang Kita Program or ACAP.
01:10While the Sustainable Livelihood Program for low-income families was also raised by the camera for P3.4 billion.
01:18Chairman Co said that this additional allocation is important to support the Filipinos in need
01:25and they believe that through the government's livelihood programs, poverty will also be averted.
01:32Some of the funds raised by the camera were for the DOLE program,
01:37Government Internship Program, Tulong Dunang Program, and Scholarship Programs of the government.
01:43Even though the construction of new houses and facilities in schools under the Department of Education
01:49was also given an additional allocation for low-income families.
01:53According to Appropriations Senior Vice Chair Stella Kimbo,
01:56education will greatly help the country's future,
02:01which is one of their priorities.
02:04The Armed Forces of the Philippines was also given an additional fund by the camera.
02:09This is also for the daily subsistence allowance of the soldiers
02:13and for the completion of the airport expansion in Pag-asa Island and shelter ports in Lawak Palawan.
02:19This is also for the support of the camera in the armed forces in their maintenance in the West Philippine Sea.
02:26First, House Speaker Martin Romualdez gave an extra allowance for the soldiers
02:32in the recognition of the camera in their sacrifices and unforgivable service
02:38to defend the country against internal and external threats.
02:42Aside from that, some of the funds raised by the camera
02:46were for agricultural projects and for the well-being of the government.
02:50The camera will submit to the Senate the final version of the proposed budget that they approved.
