00:00On the 7th day of receiving the Certificate of Candidacy this week,

00:04some well-known personalities submitted for the Congressman.

00:09Let's find out who they are in this episode of Mela Las Moras Live.

00:16Maan, along with her parents, President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.

00:21and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos,

00:23COC for Re-Election also submitted,

00:26House Senior Deputy Majority Leader and Ilocos Norte First District Representative Sandro Marcos here in Comeleg, NCR.

00:34Their COCs also submitted their dreams of being candidates as Congressmen here in Metro Manila.

00:42Senator Cynthia Villar, who is a family legacy and not a member of the political dynasty,

00:48was opposed to what her family is doing to their government duties.

00:53Villar said that after receiving the Certificate of Candidacy for being a Congressman in the Las Pinas Loan District,

01:00she was accompanied by her husband, former Senate President Manny Villar,

01:04and their children, Senator Mark Villar and House Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.

01:09We are not family, but it has been done by my father since 1963.

01:19He promised us that we will love Las Pinas, and I thought it's for the memory of my father who really loved Las Pinas when he was alive.

01:30Aside from Villar, Senator Rose Nono-Lin also formally submitted her candidacy for Congresswoman of Quezon City 5th District.

01:38Lin's name was heard in the hearings of the House Squad Committee because she was accused of illegal pogos and formal scandal.

01:45But when the media asked about this, she only said no comment.

01:50Because the deadline for the COC filing is approaching, other aspirants are also coming.

01:56Like Paranaque's 2nd District Representative Gaston Bunting, who wanted to run for the same position.

02:02While his siblings, Paranaque's 1st District Representative Edwin Olivares and Paranaque's Mayor Erick Olivares,

02:08are the targets of changing positions in the upcoming election, and the COC has already hired a couple.

02:14We had a series of consultations of the family and all our sectors in the city of Paranaque about our switching.

02:23I'm the former former mayor of the 3rd District there and we talked to my siblings that they have legislative measures that are not yet completed,

02:32the 18th Congress, that they want to continue.

02:36Marikina's 2nd District Representative Stella Kimbo is also with them.

02:40The COC also hired her mister, Atty. Miro Kimbo, to run for her position.

02:46Kimbo has a battle with Marikina City Mayor Marci Tudoro, who was immediately answered by the mayor.

02:52Instead of letting us be in our district, we really want to remove the mayor from Marikina.

03:01This is not an election where no candidate is removed. It's a democratic process. We let people choose.

03:09In various places, the COC is continuing its filing.

03:12In Ilocos Norte, President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. accompanied the son of incumbent 1st District Representative Sandro Marcos

03:19in filing a Certificate of Candidacy for re-election.

03:22COMELEC's instructions to those who will file the COC tomorrow are to hurry and make sure that the requirements are correct and complete so that there will be no confusion.

03:32If they will return to correct the entries and information, maybe they won't make it. But we're still until 5 o'clock.

03:39We should be done by 5 o'clock. But if they are still within the 30-meter radius of our queuing area at the strike of 5,

03:49it's still possible. But at the time that we list them, their COC should be completely filled up.

03:58Comelec NCR is designated as a place where the COC will be filled up with candidates as a congresswoman here in Metro Manila.

04:09The COC was filled up on Day 7 of the COC filing.

04:15Tomorrow is the last day of the COC filing. Comelec expects that there will be more candidates and their COC will be filled up.
