00:15Today in Bear Mounds, the Civil Service Commission invited the government agencies to fill the job vacancies.

00:23And one of their priorities is hiring young people.

00:28Of course, the call of the times now is technology.

00:32So, we should harness technology. We need to learn technology.

00:38We need to bring in the new blood who will bring in more innovation in civil service and inspiration too.

00:45And for continuity too.

00:48With the rapid pace of life, the youth's strength is being prioritized.

00:54This is our way of welcoming the youth, the new blood, the new recruits of the government.

01:03In the Civil Service Exam, the number of slots increased.

01:07Before, it was less than 300,000 slots.

01:12But now, we have increased the number of slots to about 600,000 per year.

01:19As our national anthem says, youth is the hope of the people.

01:24But before we can meet the hope,

01:27we need to test and challenge our youth.

01:32It's a choice for the youth.

01:34Since for us to go from a third world to a developed country, we need to embrace the younger generation.

01:40For me, I will not serve here.

01:43I plan to go abroad.

01:50Their first activity is the nationwide fan run at the Kirino Grandstand in Luneta.

01:55More than 20,000 government employees came here,

02:14the love for our service to every Filipino worker.

02:19This is my first time participating in an event like this.

02:35The fans ran for 5 kilometers

02:38from Kirino Grandstand to President Kirino Avenue.

02:49The PLB is a program that will provide one-time financial assistance

02:54for the families of public servants who gave their lives to serve the city.
