00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. is speeding up the return of water and electricity supply to Marawi City, according to Kenneth Paciente.
00:09President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. has ordered the Office of the Presidential Advisor for Marawi Rehabilitation
00:17to improve the progress for the repair of Marawi City.
00:22At a sectoral meeting in Palacio, the President specifically pointed out the main needs, including electricity, water, and housing in the city,
00:31which was severely affected due to the incursion of the Mauti Group in 2017.
00:35He pointed out that the water supply in the area is very important even though the supply of electricity is limited.
00:41The OPAM-R explained that there was only a delay in the implementation of the Bulk Water Supply Project
00:47by the Local Water Utilities Administration or LWUA due to its legality.
00:52It is now being supported by the government and the LWUA has also promised to complete the project before the end of the year.
00:59The President also ordered the OPAM-R to talk to the private landowners in Marawi
01:04to extend the contract to use their land as housing for the residents affected by the Marawi siege.
01:11The contract of the private landowners has already expired in the last administration.
01:14The agreement that the private landowners will use their private land within five years while the permanent residence of the residents is being built is already included in the contract.
01:23The President's Directive was approved by a lawmaker.
01:27According to Congressman Zia Alonto Adyong, this Directive will be passed by the President
01:32that the Marawi people have been suffering for a long time.
01:35Because of this, the revival of not only the Marawi people, but also the livelihood and dignity of the residents will be accelerated.
01:43The Executive Board of the Department of Energy also ordered the concerned agencies to inform the concerned energy projects.

02:00of all their projects under the Energy Virtual One-Stop Shop or EVOS
02:05to streamline the purchase of energy project applications.
02:09According to the PCO, 56 energy-related processes out of 103 have been integrated in EVOS since the project was rolled out in 2020.
