00:00Tom Brady. How about this? It's official. No longer going to be playing football live
00:07because he is a team owner. Ari Mirov tweeted out yesterday, NFL owners have approved Tom
00:12Brady as a minority owner of the Raiders per Albert Breer. Brady steps into the front office
00:18here while still holding down a job calling games in the NFL Dubs.
00:24At 47 years of age, so it's now official that Tom Brady's not coming back to lace up the
00:28boots on a Sunday and resurrect the chances on the gridiron. But I think it's exciting
00:34and Tom Brady, one of the most marketable athletes that we've seen over the last couple
00:40of decades, it's a sign of the times there. And by all reports, Tony, this is a fantastic
00:46business decision. If you can get a stake in an NFL team, you can just watch that money
00:51continue to double up and it's no small sum of change, if you will, there. So well done
00:57to Tom Brady. Well done to the Raiders. It tells us how excited one of the greats is
01:02and trying to continue this sport. And I think there is so much global appeal behind the
01:06National Football League and becomes just the third player in history to now take up
01:12ownership, being a part of that group that takes that 10% stake. So I think it's exciting.
01:18We need to see more of it, but it sounds like there was a bit of hesitation there, especially
01:22from some of the other owners, how it would really look moving forward and how that role
01:26in the booth would really affect for Tom Brady moving forward. But I mean, he's getting
01:31paid up in the booth. He's now got his own NFL team. This guy, I mean, he's too good
01:37to be true, Donny. A little jealous, a little envious, if you will. But yeah, I guess great
01:43news if you're a Raiders fan. It's only going to help the brand.
