00:00This here is the Cupra Terramar, a new SUV from the brand that offers style and plenty

00:07You can expect this vehicle to be offered with some interesting powertrains, including
00:11a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with all-wheel drive, 195 kW of power, and also
00:17a plug-in hybrid model with front-wheel drive, which is expected to be the flagship model
00:22in the range.
00:23Now, you're going to see lots of styling on this car.
00:26You've got some amazing LED lights with these triangle, I guess they're design icon elements
00:32to this car.
00:33The triangles are inspired by the badge, which of course is finished in copper.
00:37If you come with me around here, we can have a look at this special edition model, which
00:42has these amazing-looking wheels that remind me a lot of a Maserati, personally.
00:46This one here is the plug-in hybrid because that's your plug-in point right there.
00:51And you've also got the America's Cup logo on this one because it's an America's Cup
00:55edition.
00:56Alright, I'll show you inside in just one sec, but if you follow me around here, you
00:59can see that this has the CUPRA light signature at the back, which we've come to expect.
01:05The wall-to-wall taillight, as they call it, I think that's what they call it, it's got
01:09the CUPRA emblem inside the light as well, makes part of that signature, and I reckon
01:15that the proportions of this car, which shares plenty with the Audi Q3, is very, very attractive
01:22to the eye.
01:24You go that way, I'll go this way, we'll have a look inside.
01:28This car has an all-new interior, so it's got buttons on the steering wheel, which is
01:34one of the things that I love about it.
01:36It's also got this nice horizontal design element to the interior, so you've got this
01:42really nice finish.
01:43I mean, CUPRA, in all of their models, is all about design flourishes, finishes, textures,
01:50and it just looks fantastic.
01:52This is a 12.9-inch touchscreen media system, yes, it's got those little sliders down the
01:58bottom, but hey, I'll be able to tell you a little bit more about that when I drive
02:01this car soon.
02:02So, I reckon that it does have a serious amount of wow factor in here, even has a boomerang
02:08element to the design.
02:09Let's jump in the back seat and have a quick look.
02:12Right, now, obviously this isn't a practicality test or anything like that, but you can see
02:18that it's a pretty decent back seat space, so you will be able to use this as a family
02:24car.
02:25You can expect ISOFIX points and three-top tethers and all of that sort of stuff, and
02:29yes, you get directional air vents.
02:31I like that.
02:32Now, let's check out the boot quickly.
02:35Right, so, electric tailgate, as you would expect, and just have a look at this.
02:40I could sleep in there.
02:41No, I won't sleep in there.
02:42It does have a decent amount of space.
02:45Now, this is a pre-production car, but look at the finishing, look at the design.
02:49I reckon that the Cooper Teramar could be a big success story for the brand.
02:53Its biggest regular-looking SUV, but there's also that swoopier Taviscan electric model
02:59as well.
