00:00Hello, good evening. Well, I hope you've been lucky enough to see some sunshine this afternoon.

00:04There's been plenty of it across the country. Away from the North West though, where it's

00:08been fairly cloudy with some outbreaks of rain. Here's a satellite image from this afternoon

00:12so we can see plenty of those bright sunny skies across much of England and Wales. But

00:16plenty of cloud pushing into the West with some outbreaks of rain in Northern Ireland

00:21and western parts of Scotland. And those outbreaks of rain are going to continue as we head into

00:26this evening. Notice these brighter colours too, so some heavier outbreaks on their way

00:30by the time we reach Saturday morning. Elsewhere though, across much of England and Wales once

00:35again plenty of clear skies. So it's turning quite chilly here and perhaps some pockets

00:40of mist and fog by the time we reach the morning. But across much of Scotland, Northern Ireland,

00:46a milder night on offer and fairly blustery under those cloudier skies. So once again

00:52to start the weekend we'll still see those outbreaks of rain across Northern Ireland,

00:56across parts of Scotland, generally easing across the Scottish borders by the time we

01:00reach the afternoon. And elsewhere there'll be plenty of that bright sunshine. And feeling

01:04warm and lighter winds in that sunshine too. Notice those brighter colours once again just

01:09creeping into western parts of Cornwall later, so some heavier downpours expected as we head

01:14later into Saturday afternoon through into the evening. But once again in that sunshine

01:19with highs of 17-18 it will still feel warm and pleasant for the time of year. For Sunday

01:26we say goodbye to high pressure. There'll be plenty of cloud across the country, some

01:30outbreaks of rain and this could be a little bit heavy at times. This main band of rain

01:34generally clearing into the afternoon so we may see some brighter skies across parts of

01:38Cornwall later, but a risk of showers here too. And turning quite blustery in western

01:43parts as well. So generally it's turning more and more unsettled through the weekend and
