00:00Let's take a look at the AFC East winner.
00:05Now with the coaching change in New York, you see the Jets sitting at 3-1, plus 3.10.
00:11The Bills are minus 2.30 to win this thing, then you have the Dolphins at plus 7.50.
00:16Let's have the conversation about that Jet plus money spot and what the person that's
00:21up and playing with house money might want to do here.
00:26Well look, to me, it's now the Buffalo Bills' division to lose.
00:30And I know the last couple weeks, they've been losing.
00:34So Buffalo Bills, this is your moment here to put your stamp on this division, handle
00:39your business, and for Josh Allen to play like an MVP, make the most of what you've
00:44got here.
00:45Shakir hopefully is going to play, James Cook is hopefully going to play, but you need more.
00:49Buffalo Bills need to go out and add another wide receiver.
00:51I don't know who that guy is going to be, but they need to add somebody because I don't
00:54think they have enough of the position to compete with the Ravens or the Chiefs or those
00:58kind of teams.
00:59I just don't think they have that.
01:00I wanted to look up this number too because I thought it was very important.
01:03I mentioned earlier about whenever you get a team that fires a head coach like the New
01:07York Jets did, I tend to run to that line and bet that team on the money line and typically
01:13they're an underdog because they're a team that's losing.
01:16I have hesitancy with this, but the number is also really interesting.
01:2041% of the amount of times that those teams have won.
01:24Now that doesn't sound like a lot in your mind, but it actually is when you consider
01:27these teams aren't good, which is why they're firing a head coach in the first place.
01:31So the line typically also increases, usually it goes from 36% to 54% in terms of the increase
01:39after that coaching firing where the line grows.
01:42So you're making a play here where the return on investment is huge and that is why I typically
01:50go and run to do that.
01:52I have pause because I'm just not sure of the chaos within the Jets organization and
01:56it doesn't feel like the typical, let's rally around the situation.
02:03This isn't like Gruden gets fired and everybody loves Basaccia.
02:06They all rally around Basaccia, just as an example.
02:09Or when Josh McDaniels gets fired and nobody liked Josh McDaniels, but everybody loved
02:13Antonio Pierce.
02:14Everybody wanted to play hard for him last year.
02:16We don't know much about this defensive coordinator who's now taking over.
02:21We already see the first thing he does is he creates some tension there on the offensive
02:24side by taking away the play calling.
02:27So this is a very complicated situation.
02:29I'm staying away from it.
02:31But I do think this is an opportunity for the Buffalo Bills to really stamp this division
02:36here and stamp it hard.
02:37So we'll see if they can handle their business or maybe they do just hand the ball off or
02:42get the ball in Breeze Hall's hands a lot more and play defense and do what Robert Sala
02:47probably wanted to do more of, which would be unfortunate for Robert Sala to have to
02:50watch on Monday night.
