00:00Welcome to Mojo Plays, and today we're taking a look at the 10 Marvel vs. Capcom Fighters
00:10no one wants on their team.
00:17Before we begin, we publish new videos all week long, so be sure to subscribe to Mojo
00:21Plays and ring the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:26Marvel vs Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes
00:30It is important to note that Servbot is a joke character.
00:39We know his presence isn't meant for winning tournaments or wiping the floor with your
00:42friends.
00:43Still, that doesn't make him a suitable choice for MvC2.
00:48Whereas most of the roster can deal decent damage with an average combo, you can land
00:52several hits with Servbot only to dish out very, very little damage.
00:57The only notable benefit he brings is that his hyper combos can deal slightly more damage
01:03if your opponent is blocking, and even then, it isn't a big difference versus if they
01:08weren't blocking.
01:14Hisenko Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
01:23Even the weakest fighters of UMVC3 have some redeeming qualities in their own awkward ways.
01:29Senko, on the other hand, is so awful that it's hard figuring out why anyone would
01:34have her on their team.
01:35Don't get us wrong, we love this Darkstalkers heroine as much as we love Morrigan and Felicia.
01:41Unfortunately, Hisenko is so unreasonably slow that it makes the heavy hitters look
01:46like MvC2 Magneto.
01:48On top of that, her hyper combos are easy to avoid and they don't inflict much damage.
01:54We were happy to see another Darkstalkers rep on the roster, but if this is the fate
01:58Hisenko is forced to live, we'd rather she be left out.
02:10Ghost Rider Marvel vs Capcom Infinite
02:17Ghost Rider may have been one of UMVC3's lower tier characters, but somehow Infinite
02:22made him even worse.
02:25Whereas Ghost Rider could employ some nonsense and stringing combos and taking up the whole
02:29screen, Infinite took whatever little fun he had going on and nerfed him into oblivion.
02:35He moves slower, he has lesser moves in his kit, and he has a worse version of his level
02:423 hyper combo that takes all of the cool factor away from him.
02:46This is supposed to be one of the baddest dudes in the Marvel Universe.
02:50Why would you make Ghost Rider such a lame character?
02:54Ugh, I need a jellybean martini after having to relive this nightmare.
03:02Dan Marvel vs Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes
03:11It really shouldn't be surprising to see Dan make it on this list.
03:14This showoff has often been regarded as one of Street Fighter's worst characters across
03:19every installment.
03:21We get it though, he's a joke character, just like Servbot.
03:24Even so, there's just no reason to have Dan on your team unless you're intentionally
03:29trying to make MDC2 harder.
03:31You want awful mobility?
03:33You want to take way more damage than any other character on the roster?
03:37You want access to a poor excuse of a Hadouken?
03:40Then by all means, choose Dan.
03:42We just hope you're playing for giggles and not for money.
03:50Orange Hulk Marvel vs Capcom Clash of Superheroes
03:58A more powerful version of the Hulk?
04:00Ideally, we would jump on that opportunity without hesitation, especially knowing how
04:05strong Hyper Venom and Gold War Machine are in Clash of Superheroes.
04:10But Orange Hulk?
04:11Well, Orange Hulk is actually a more horrendous version of the regular Hulk.
04:16While he does hit harder and faster like Hyper Venom, he takes way more damage and has a
04:22worse recovery time when using moves that are essential in using normal Hulk effectively.
04:28And just when you think playing this living, fragile bottle of Fanta couldn't be any
04:32more miserable, you quickly figure out that he has no armor whatsoever.
04:37You're basically playing a dismantled iteration of the Big Green Machine, and it's just
04:42not worth it.
04:47Amingo Marvel vs Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes
04:57We have nothing against Amingo at all.
04:59Nothing, nothing.
05:00He's great.
05:01We love him.
05:02If anything, we love him just as much as we adore Ruby Heart.
05:05Problem is that for a heavy hitting healer, Amingo feels completely useless.
05:11Yes, he can put some pressure on foes when they're stuck in a corner, but even so,
05:16his moves are so awkward that they make it hard for Amingo to string attacks together.
05:21His size already makes every situation worse for him, and his awful nobility leaves him
05:26little room to try and escape combos.
05:28Look, the Cactus Kids can be a funny way to be annoying and bring some goofiness to the
05:33fight, but if you're playing to win, Amingo just isn't going to be much help.
05:42Ryu One would hope the main man of Street Fighter
05:49would at least be among the above average or at least average fighters across the franchise.
05:55On the contrary, he is among the weakest.
05:58He is nowhere near as weak as Dan, thankfully.
06:01However, his lack of range makes him a way tougher character to play with.
06:05Your only means of defense is to either get up in your rival's business or just spam
06:09Hadoukens like one would in a regular Street Fighter game.
06:13Sure, Ryu also comes with Shinshoryuken and the Hurricane Kick, but every hyper combo
06:19he has is super easy to read and super easy to avoid.
06:23You're just better off picking Chun-Li or even Cammy, and they aren't much higher
06:28on the tier lists either.
06:33Nemesis T-Type Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite
06:37Look, it is very possible to play a strong game with Nemesis.
06:45He's got enough moves in his kit to provide good zoning, good anti-air, and still inflict
06:50a good amount of damage, but if you're somebody who wants to deny your opponent from
06:54playing the game and end them quickly, Nemesis is not your answer.
06:59His base damage is solid, but scaling damage and combos is a joke, and of course, his size
07:05is an issue as he becomes a big target for his opponent, meaning one careless mistake
07:10can leave you open for a touch of death combo.
07:13Nemesis is very much a play at your own risk character, and it's a risk that we just
07:18would rather not take.
07:23Arthur Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
07:30Playing as Arthur just tells your opponent you're asking for trouble, and you won't
07:34put up much of a fight.
07:35For as much as we can appreciate ghosts and goblins, we cannot bring ourselves to play
07:39as Arthur, even for laughs.
07:42His short stature works against him in the worst ways possible, from the lack of proper
07:46range to his slow movement.
07:48As for his gold armor install, using this is more likely to work against you as it leaves
07:54Arthur open to get combo'd, and since he'll be left in his boxers, he'll take substantially
07:59more damage than he would with his regular armor on.
08:02In all honesty, Arthur is interesting from a design standpoint, but in play and execution,
08:08you just don't go online with this guy.
08:11Like at all.
08:17Roll Marvel vs. Capcom Clash of Superheroes
08:20and Marvel vs. Capcom 2 New Age of Heroes
08:31When a character is widely labeled to be in their own tier, you know something is wrong.
08:37Roll is such an abysmal fighter that she is always put into her own tier just to show
08:43how low on the totem pole she is.
08:46Imagine playing as Mega Man, except all of your most useful moves are thrown out, and
08:50your hyper combos have been nerfed to hell.
08:54That is what it is like playing as Roll.
08:57She is nothing more than a worse version of the Blue Bomber.
09:00It doesn't help that trying to trigger her hyper combos leaves her open for so long that
09:05your opponent can punch her out of it.
09:07We'd be speechless if anyone actually manages to win a tournament with Roll on their team,
09:11even more if someone wins with a team of three Rolls.
09:20Think you can play as any of these characters well enough to win a tournament?
09:23What's a character you struggle playing with the most in Marvel vs. Capcom?
