00:15Vape shop businesses were affected after the Department of Trade and Industry was stopped from placing tax stamps on vape products.

00:23This vape shop is now in danger of closing down due to two vape brands being sold with tax stamps.

00:36The display in this vape shop is almost empty.

00:39Since the DTI confiscated some disposable big vape brands like Flava, their sales have declined.

00:54That's where it started because there are a lot of disposable vape brands that don't have a permit.

01:04Some manufacturers, importers, distributors, and retailers of vape products like Snoplus, Instabar, Dencat, Geekbar, Vapegen, Wave, Boss, Nevoxbar, and Uzok were affected.

01:19The so-called vape brands were removed from Section 4 of the No Tax Stamp under Republic Act No. 11900 or Vaporized Nicotine and Non-Nicotine Products Regulation Act.

01:30Although the selection of vape products is now limited, it is still a favor for the vape user.

01:36The government will restrict the use of unauthorized documents in the sale of vape products.

02:31The absence of internal revenue stamps means that the excise tax will not be paid.

02:35And the BIR may confiscate the vape products for tax evasion.

02:40The Philippine Standard License of Imported Vape Brands also suspended while the investigation of alleged smuggling continues.
