00:06The low-pressure area is located in the West Philippine Sea.
00:11At present, it is located 165 kilometers west-northwest of Corona, Palawan.
00:18Based on our data and analysis of the low-pressure area,
00:24the chance of this being a storm is low.
00:27This LPA is inside the ITCZ or Intertropical Convergence Zone.
00:33The ITCZ is affected by a large portion of our country.
00:39Meanwhile, you will notice that there is a storm outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:46At present, it is a tropical depression located 2,540 kilometers east of the extreme northern zone.
00:57The strong wind near its center reaches 55 kilometers per hour.
01:04This is a strong storm entering our Philippine Area of Responsibility
01:09because we expect this storm to be severe.
01:14At present, it is a cloudy sky with scattered rain and thunderstorms
01:23in Batangas, Quezon, Laguna, Rizal, Mimaropa, and Bicol Region.
01:33Meanwhile, this part of Luzon and Metro Manila
01:39as well as the whole of Visayas and Mindanao
01:45will be partially cloudy until the sky is cloudy
01:50except for isolated rains or thunderstorms.
01:59There is no warning because we expect the high pressure to reach almost 3 meters.
