00:00Good morning from the Pag-asa Weather Forecasting Center, this is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.

00:09We will see here in our latest satellite images, these thick clouds here in the area of extreme northern Luzon,

00:17is the continuous effect of shear line or the accumulation of hot and cold wind in the mentioned area.

00:23Meanwhile, this is the easterlies or the wind coming from the Pacific Ocean,

00:28will have a high chance of thunderstorms today in the eastern section of Luzon.

00:36Here in Metro Manila and in a large part of our country,

00:40we will experience hot and cold weather today,

00:44but it is still possible for sudden and quick rains,

00:48brought by thunderstorms from sunset to night.

00:52At the moment, we are not monitoring or observing the low-pressure area where it is possible for thunderstorms to affect our country in the next few days.

01:01And for the location of our time today here in Luzon,

01:05because of the effect of shear line, we expect that it will be cloudy,

01:08that there will be heavy rains, thunderstorms in the area of Batanes,

01:13and in Cagayan, Babuyan Islands.

01:16And because of the easterlies, this is the hot wind coming from the Pacific Ocean,

01:20we will also experience a high chance of rain today in the area of Isabela, Aurora, and in the area of Quezon.

01:30For Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, we will experience generally fair weather conditions,

01:35starting this morning until the afternoon,

01:37but it will reach the afternoon until the evening,

01:40where we will experience the chances of sudden and quick rains, brought by thunderstorms.

01:45Maximum temperature forecast for Lauag today is possible to reach 31 degrees Celsius,

01:5132 degrees in the area of Togegaraw, and 22 degrees Celsius in Baguio City.

01:57Maximum temperature forecast for Metro Manila today is possible to reach 31 degrees Celsius,

02:0232 degrees in the area of Legazpi, and 30 degrees Celsius in the area of Tagaytay.

02:09Here in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, generally fair weather conditions are expected throughout the day.

02:16Let's be prepared for the rains brought by thunderstorms, especially in the late afternoon to evening.

02:22So if it's still early in the day, we already have early morning thunderstorm activity in some parts of Mindanao,

02:29here in the area of Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, and Barm.

02:33These rains are just temporary, we expect that our time will be clearer,

02:39until the morning, until the afternoon.

02:41But if it reaches the afternoon and evening,

02:43the chances of sudden and quick rains, brought by thunderstorms, will be possible again.

02:49Maximum temperature forecast for Kalayaan Islands and Puerto Princesa today is possible to reach 33 degrees Celsius,

02:5732 degrees here in Iloilo, and 32 degrees Celsius in the area of Cebu and Tacloban.

03:03Maximum temperature forecast for Cagayan de Oro today is possible to reach 32 degrees Celsius,

03:0933 degrees in the area of Davao, and 33 degrees Celsius in the area of Zamboanga.

03:15And at the moment, in our ocean, there is no gale warning that is high,

03:19depending on the type of river that we are in,

03:21and according to the forecast, it is expected that there will be strong gales in most parts of our country.

03:26Even so, we still have to be careful with our fellow fishermen,

03:30because if we have offshore thunderstorm activity,

03:33these are the type of rains that we expect in our seas,

03:36and we expect strong winds,

03:39because of this, the gales will be high.

03:45In the next few days, or at least for the next three days,

03:48because of the effect of the Shire Line and Easter Lease,

03:52we expect that there will be a high chance of thunderstorms and rains in the northern part of the Luzon.

03:56So, in a large part of Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon,

04:00there is a high chance of rain that we expect in the next few days.

04:04So, let's be prepared for possible thunderstorms and landslides

04:11For Metro Manila and the rest of the country,

04:13the fair weather conditions will continue.
