00:00Good morning to all of us. Today is October 6, 2024 and here is the update on the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.

00:08The Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITZZ is still in effect here in the parts of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao,

00:16where today there will still be a high chance of rain, lightning and thunderstorms in a large part of Southern Luzon,

00:24including a large part of Visayas. So be careful for our countrymen in the possibility of flooding and landslides.

00:32Meanwhile, in the vast majority of our country, we will only experience isolated or sudden and short-term rains,

00:41lightning and thunderstorms like the ITZZ and the Easterlys.

00:45And at the moment, we are not monitoring or observing any bad weather that may affect our country.

00:54For the time being, this Sunday, there will be heavy rain, lightning and thunderstorms in the Bicol Region,

01:04Maropa and Quezon. So again, be careful for our countrymen in the possibility of flooding and landslides.

01:14Meanwhile, here in Metro Manila and in the area of Calabarzon, today there will be a high chance of isolated rains,

01:22lightning and thunderstorms. So as early as this morning, we will experience these sudden rains.

01:29So when we go out, let's not forget our rain gear.

01:35Meanwhile, in the vast majority of Luzon, we will also experience sudden rains, lightning and thunderstorms,

01:43especially in the afternoons and evenings, along with the Easterlys.

01:47Our regional offices are sending out thunderstorm advisories regarding these rains.

01:54The temperature in Metro Manila is from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.

02:02Meanwhile, in the area of Visayas and Mindanao, today, the entire area of Visayas will continue to experience cloudy skies

02:10and heavy rains, lightning and thunderstorms, along with the ITCC.

02:15Meanwhile, in the area of Mindanao, today, it will be cloudy skies.

02:20Until the sky is cloudy, we still have a chance of isolated rains, lightning and thunderstorms, along with the ITCC.

02:30These rains are still possible to be moderate and if there are strong rains,

02:37it can cause flooding and landslides.

02:39So be careful for our countrymen.

02:43The temperature in Cebu is from 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.

02:47Meanwhile, in Davao, it is 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.

02:52And for our countrymen who live by the sea,

02:55we do not have a high gale warning, so our fishermen and small fishing boats are not allowed.

03:03Here in Metro Manila, the sun will rise later at 5.46 in the morning and set later at 5.42 in the afternoon.
