00:48and their co-accused Janet Lim Napoles in the verdict handed down Friday, October 4

00:53This ends 10 years of trial with all three senators accused of plunder winning their cases

00:58The others are Bong Revilla and Jinggoy Estrada, who've both returned to the Senate

01:03Enrile was accused of receiving 172.8 million pesos in kickbacks from his office's pork barrel funds

01:10He allegedly channeled the money to bogus NGOs set up by Napoles with the help of Reyes

01:15The Anti-Graft Court says the prosecution

01:17failed to prove that Enrile himself received money from the transactions

01:21Enrile and Reyes have long been free on bail

01:24while Napoles is serving sentence for plunder in other pork scam cases

01:28The Department of Foreign Affairs confirms Friday, October 4

01:33it canceled the Philippine passport of disgraced Bamban ex-mayor Alice Guo

01:37The DFA says this was triggered by a certification from the National Bureau of Investigation

01:42saying Guo's biometrics matched that of Guo Huaping, H-HINES National

01:46The cancellation of Guo's Philippine passport took effect September 30

01:51Guo has been the subject of a months-long probe into the existence of her ties to

01:54a pogo in Bamban found to have been a hotbed for scam operations and worker abuse

02:00Questions of Guo's real identity were first

02:02traced in a Senate probe started by opposition senator Risa Ontiveros

02:06She's been accused of being a Chinese spy, an allegation she denied,

02:10and faces a slew of cases from trafficking to graft

02:13Guo is currently under police custody after fleeing the Philippines and getting caught in Indonesia

02:20Former Vice President Leni Robredo is running for mayor of Naga City

02:24Her office officially announces on Instagram Friday, October 4

02:27Robredo's running mate will be Gabriel Bordado Jr.,

02:30currently the representative of Camarines Sur's 3rd Congressional District

02:34Incumbent Naga Mayor Nelson Legacion is Robredo's ally

02:38Although he's eligible for a third term,

02:40he is expected to run for the congressional post Bordado is forgoing

02:44In June, Robredo said she wouldn't be running for senator

02:46amid calls from supporters wanting her to run for national office

02:50Meanwhile, former Kabataan Partylist Congresswoman Sarah Elago attempts

02:54a return to the House of Representatives,

02:56this time as the first nominee of the Gabriela Partylist

02:59Elago says she will prioritize bills on divorce,

03:02gender equality, and protecting women and children from violence

03:05Gabriela's third nominee, Jean Lindo,

03:07says the party also supports moves to decriminalize abortion

03:13Daughters of traditional politicians are expanding their dynasty's hold

03:16on national politics by running for the Senate

03:19Abby Binay, the youngest child of former Vice President Jejomar Binay

03:23and sister of Senator Nancy Binay,

03:24has used up all three terms as Makati Mayor

03:27Abby says she is nerve-wracked to be running for national office for the first time

03:31as she is, quote, a private person

03:33Nancy has also reached her term limit in the Senate

03:36She's running for Makati Mayor against Abby's husband, Luis Campos

03:40Meanwhile, Las Pinas Representative Camille Villar

03:42files her bid to join her brother Mark Villar in the Senate

03:45Just as their mother, Cynthia Villar,

03:47uses up her two consecutive terms as Senator

03:49If she wins, Camille will become the fourth Villar to become a Senator

03:53Her father, Magnet Manny Villar,

03:55who's now the third richest man in the country,

03:57was Senator from 2001 to 2013

04:02Rocker Bruce Springsteen endorses Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris

04:06Harris has already been endorsed by some big Hollywood names and celebrities

04:10from legendary actress Meryl Streep to comedian Chris Rock

04:13and former talk show host Oprah Winfrey

04:15Last month, pop megastar Taylor Swift endorsed Harris

04:18The singer says on Instagram,

04:20Donald Trump is the most dangerous candidate for president in my lifetime

04:24The New Jersey native, nicknamed The Boss,
