00:58She is perpetually disqualified from re-entering government service, and all her retirement
01:02benefits from any post she held are forfeited.
01:05Guo became a household name ever since a Senate investigation uncovered her suspected links
01:10to illegal pogos.
01:12Officials questioned her nationality and ties to business partners accused of crimes.
01:17Guo faces a slew of cases, including qualified trafficking and a petition to cancel her birth

01:27her to participate in its investigation.
01:32The Philippines officially protests China's jets firing flares near a Philippine plane
01:37over Scarborough Shoal.
01:39Foreign Secretary Enrique Manalo tells a congressional panel on Tuesday, August 13, the DFAS filed
01:44a note verbal against China to convey its strong condemnation of the incident.
01:49Manalo says the Philippine Air Force plane's actions were lawful because it did not pose
01:53threat to the Chinese planes.
01:56It also did not violate any sovereignty or jurisdiction because it was within its rights
02:00to patrol the area.
02:02In a separate briefing, the Navy Inspector General Rear Admiral Roy Vincent Trinidad
02:07tells reporters the Chinese plane's actions were, quote, coercive, aggressive, and deceptive.
02:13The incident happened last Thursday, August 8, above Scarborough Shoal in the waters off

02:46Are they challenging the policy set by the president?
02:51Guevara earlier said his office wouldn't prevent ITC prosecutors from interviewing people allegedly
02:56involved in the drug war.
02:58In a separate interview, Remulia said it's the International Criminal Police Organization's
03:02job to serve an arrest warrant once it's out.

03:33It was a fitting comeback for Daly as he took a hiatus after winning gold in the Tokyo Olympics
03:38in 2021.
03:40He says he returned for a final Olympiad because his older son asked him to.
03:44With that, Daly became the first British diver to compete in five Olympics.

03:53He tells the BBC, quote, "...he's really happy with how everything's gone."

04:14and Cruz's totally unacceptable absences during the first hearing on August 7.

04:24both scared to be subjected to a media circus and a premature trial.
04:28He adds they were afraid of the possibility of violating the ongoing investigation by
04:32the National Bureau of Investigation.
04:35Addressing Mula, they say, quote, "...we did not do anything wrong to you and you know
04:39that in your heart.
04:40It's not too late to tell the truth."
