00:00The Everton takeover is obviously a massive topic again. I mean, it's gone on for so long. Is it a case of it finally being solved?
00:11So finally there might be light at the end of the tunnel in terms of an Everton takeover. I mean, it's rumbled on for so long now.
00:20Kaminsky and MSV Sports Capital, the 7-7 partners, John Texter and Friedman come back to the table.
00:32I mean, it looks like he's resolved that issue he had with the 7-7 loan and the business of ACAP.
00:39It's positive for Everton, you have to say. He maybe doesn't have the full backhand of the Roma fans after the decision made to get rid of Dallas Aros, who's an absolute club legend.
00:53But it was a decision that was fairly bold, you have to say, from the freekins. Roma have won the subsequent two games, so maybe it might be the right decision, who knows?
01:03But ultimately Everton fans will be looking at what Friedman can bring to the table and the decisions he will be making.
01:10And one of them will be the future of Sean Dyche. Sean Dyche is into the final year of his contract, had to sign a two-and-a-half-year deal when he arrived.
01:21He's got a lot of respect among the Everton fans. I think you have to take your hat off to the job he's done at Goodson Park.
01:29He kept Everton up in his first season, difficult circumstances, last campaign with the points deductions, Everton ended up staying up comfortably and was a finished 12th in the table.
01:39But it's fair to say that new owners often want to employ their own man.
01:47So Sean Dyche has said that he wants to be in charge of the first game at the new stadium in Bramley Moor Doch.
01:53He's put a lot of time and effort into this and he doesn't want his Everton chapter to end at the end of the season.
02:01But he's probably going to be in an audition now and he'll know that. Without a doubt, he'll know that the owners will be looking at things.
02:08And there's already talk of Maurizio Sarri maybe being here last. I don't know how true those are.
02:15I think Dan Fry can want to get a new man into that post because some of the signings you have to give a lot of credit to and he's worked under difficult circumstances.
02:25But that being some, maybe like Beto, who he paid a decent chunk for and hasn't quite paid off.
02:32So Kevin Falwell is in a similar boat to Sean Dyche.
02:37But for now, Sean Dyche, he's got to keep winning games and delivering results.
02:42And ultimately, maybe Dan Fry can decide that he is the man who can take Everton forward into the new stadium.
02:51But Dan Fry can be assessing things as they go on and it'll be interesting to see what decision is made.
