00:00Real impacts to be made for Sean Deitch's side in this window? Who would the fans like
00:07to see come in? Who would Deitch maybe want to improve? What position of the pitch could
00:13they certainly look at in January if there was a name as well? Would anyone spring to
00:17mind in terms of Everton's January window?
00:20I think supporters would like to see another attacking player come in, someone with real
00:27pace out wide, because they're struggling in front of goals. They're not short in terms
00:34of numbers and strikers. Almanzo Brodie has not played yet, he's getting back fit and
00:39Yusef Chimisi as well is getting back fit. Goals have been frustrating for Everton. The
00:45wide players, is there enough quality there? Would Sean Deitch want to go and get a wide
00:50player who can have that real quality? The full-back positions have been a little bit
00:57poor as well. He's actually young to be fair, he's actually been more of Everton's player
01:00this season. But when you're a 39-year-old, it shouldn't be in that position where a 39-year-old
01:07is one of your standout players. Left-back Vitaly Mikhalenko, there are a lot of question
01:12marks around him now as he really kicked on in his three years at the club. There's been
01:17a couple, one player linked to his three, Lamparty, a Brighton who's out of contract.
01:24In the summer he can play on both sides, he's quick, he's direct. Do Everton, instead of
01:29maybe getting him on a free transfer next summer, where there's going to be a lot of
01:33interest if he's not to say a Brighton, do Everton go to Brighton and say, right, we'll
01:38give you X amount of time, you're not going to risk losing for free, we'll get a player
01:45in January. Some supporters have been saying maybe that of Kyle Walker-Peters as well at
01:50Southampton, who was linked with Everton a couple of years ago. Again, he's a player who can play
01:57on both sides of the pitch. Everton do need another left-back really, they need more attacking
02:02players. I think those positions are probably the ones that you would look at out wide and
02:10more attack managers fall back.
02:12Dominic Calvert-Lewin for Everton. Obviously, we've discussed a number of times how
02:17out of contract at the end of the season, it's a possible situation where they obviously haven't
02:23lost anything on his return due to the money they spent on him. Could they use January to
02:28possibly attract some attention? What's the sort of latest you can tell us on Calvert-Lewin?
02:32Well, as things stand, he'll be leaving the club for Notham at the end of the season.
02:37There's been a contract there that Dominic Calvert-Lewin hasn't signed. He's obviously
02:42heavily linked to Newcastle last summer. That deal didn't get over the line.
02:46Looking towards a new club, I'm thinking, I don't want to get injured here. I don't want
02:49to put my body on the line. I've got a new five-year deal lined up elsewhere,
02:54so that is something that Everton would definitely have to weigh up.
