00:00 Shaun Dyches has spoken a few times about the summer window and how much Everton can
00:07 spend and whether they have to sell. Is there any idea of how the window might pan out for
00:14 Everton and if you were to keep one player and sell one player, who would that be in
00:21 Everton colours this summer?
00:22 I think Shaun Dyches described it as juggling sands. It's going to be a different situation,
00:28 a takeover situation. It's not great in terms of recruitment. Him and director of football
00:33 Kevin Feller will have to wear cut outs again. We've looked at the current squad now. They've
00:38 got one senior winger on the books in Dwight McNeil. Jack Harrison's gone back to Leeds
00:44 and Dan Dume to Villarreal. Everton have come out and openly said that they're in discussions
00:48 with Leeds and they'll continue. So quite clearly, Everton would like Jack Harrison
00:53 back but even still, they need probably two more wingers to be quite frank because they've
00:59 played too many games. They've got Lewis Dobbin, young glass, 21 year old but is he ready for
01:05 the Premier League on a week in week out basis? Probably not. He probably needs a loan in
01:09 the Championship really in fairness to him. So that's definitely on the priority list.
01:14 The centre midfielder had a left back to provide cover for Tally McElhenco. In terms of one
01:20 keep, one sell, it's a really interesting one because Kevin Feller has come out and
01:24 said that Everton will have to sell and they might have to sell one of the prize assets.
01:31 I think looking at the squads, Jordan Pickford will stay. So then you're looking at Jarrod
01:35 Bramfwaite, Abduh-Ghunana and Donovan Calvert-Lewin and you can make arguments for all different
01:40 three. Jarrod Bramfwaite will earn you the most money without a doubt and Everton will
01:45 earn a lot of profits on him because they paid around £1m from Kyle Islayer for him.
01:50 But he's a fantastic centre back. His price tag is only going to go up undoubtedly. Abduh-Ghunana
01:58 coming from Lille for £33m and he just hasn't, you know, he's shown flashes over his two
02:05 years but has he done enough? But you can see him being a player that will be sold and
02:10 he's meant to have a lot of admirers. You could see him going and kicking on somewhere
02:15 else and would Everton think, why couldn't he do it there? Can we get the best out of
02:19 him? And Donovan Calvert-Lewin has a year left on his contract. Do Everton cash in on
02:24 now, maybe risk losing him for free next summer? But it's difficult to replace forwards and
02:30 seeing towards the end of the season Donovan Calvert-Lewin can be an absolute battering
02:33 ram. So personally, if it was me, I would probably maybe look to offload Abduh-Ghunana
02:39 and I think keeping Gerard Bramfoet for one more year. Centre backs are probably the easiest
02:46 position to replace but his price tag is only going to go up and that will mean that Everton's
02:52 bargain and power in the years time will only be stronger and in the long term it might
02:57 be better for the financial situation.
