00:00On to Everton, in terms of the line-up issues at the top, one week it's Beto, one week it's
00:08Calvert-Lewin at the moment. Beto then equalises against Fulham in a real lay at Goodison Park
00:15and then he goes with Calvert-Lewin away at Southampton. What's the situation, you can
00:20tell us, what are the fans wanting and what's the reaction to this chopping and changing
00:25between the two? How do you get the best out of both of them? It's quite a bit of a
00:30headache at the moment for Sean Nightship, it seems.
00:33Yes, it's been Calvert-Lewin starting for the most part, but as you say in the last
00:36two games, Beto has come on and made an impact. But when Beto started games in the past, has
00:44he made that same impact as when he's come off the bench in legs and tyres? It's a bit
00:52of an enigma, to be honest with you, Beto. He causes problems, but he's not exactly polished,
00:59whereas Calvert-Lewin gives you that focal point up front. He's got a lot more now, he
01:06knows the Premier League, but he's not scoring goals in the minutes, he's not getting too
01:11many chances, he's missed a couple, he strayed offside against Fulham. But it comes back
01:17to Everton playing to his strengths as well. Obviously, when you think it's Calvert-Lewin,
01:22you think of that season under Carlo Ancelotti, and a lot of his finishes were one-touch finishes
01:28in and around the six, eight-yard line, and he's not really getting those chances. If
01:34Sean Dyche wants to keep Calvert-Lewin in his team, does he need to tailor to Calvert-Lewin's
01:41finishing strengths a bit more, or is he happy for him to be a batter from round up there,
01:45run the channels, and then Beto comes on for the last 15, 20 minutes? But ultimately, Everton
01:51have been chasing games in the past two games, and Beto has come on, and Everton need to
01:57stop doing that, because they need to start taking it to teams a little bit more. I think
02:02a lot of fans would agree, Fulham are home, it was a little bit passive, and it requires
02:09a 94-minute equaliser. Again, at Southampton, the Aswan just ruled offside, but Everton
02:15don't really want to be chasing games, do they? They want to put Beto on 75 minutes
02:23when it's 2-0 up, and maybe you can go and kill the game off for them. But, as of the
02:28West Ham game, it's definitely a decision for Sean Dyche to make. I think there are
02:33sectors of fans who would like to see Beto given a chance, but it comes down to the fact
02:40that can he do it from the outside? I mean, the only way to see if he can is by giving
02:46them that opportunity now.
