00:00Moving on to Everton, obviously not a win so far in the Premier League.
00:06Just in terms of assessing their season so far, they obviously got the point on the weekend,
00:11but how close are they to panic stations in the early signs?
00:15Obviously, the fans aren't seeming too happy across social media,
00:18but from the games you've seen and the situations you've seen,
00:22is it really close to panicking so far or how do you assess the start to the season?
00:28Because it's not been too kind on the eye if you look at the league table and the form charts.
00:33Yes, certainly from the impressions from the club, they're not really panicking yet.
00:40I think Sean's an ace in terms of the job he's done in the past 18, 19 months.
00:46He has got credit in the band, but we can't deny that Everton have missed opportunities this season.
00:53The form of the game was almost unthinkable really.
00:57Watching it play out and obviously Aston Villa as well.
01:00I think it was a funny one for Aston Villa if they'd have gone there and maybe went 2-0 down,
01:04made it back to 2-1, then Villa go 3-1 and 3-2.
01:08They mightn't have been as much hysteria, but when you go two goals up,
01:13Sean Dyche's teams are known for seeing games out, aren't they?
01:17There have been some worrying trends about being 1-0 and at Leicester, again, they went 1-0 up.
01:24And the habit of conceding from set pieces, which you haven't expected from Everton whatsoever this season.
01:32I think there are some mitigating factors. Obviously, Gareth Bramfoet's been injured.
01:37At Leicester game, they were decimated. Players coming back from illness, some players still out ill.
01:43It's just a kind of game, it's not because of personal reasons.
01:46I think overall, maybe in isolation, it might have been a decent point,
01:50but when Everton are going ahead in games and conceding then,
01:54they couldn't really get any real impetus back after they'd gone ahead, even though they are creating chances.
02:00So I think you're looking at this Palace game and I think Everton do really need three points in this one.
02:06Crystal Palace have struggled themselves at the start of the season.
02:11Maybe Holbein-Glaston's not getting too far ahead, despite having finished the Adelaide campaign.
02:17Palace have come into gutters and you'd like to think it needs to be three points.
02:22If it's not three points, then unfortunately, and Sean's eyes shall know this,
02:26the pressure will increase on them from the fan base.
02:29There already are detractors among the fan base.
02:35So we'll see with these two games coming up.
02:38Palace and then I think it's Newcastle.
02:40Two big games, two winnable games, I have to say,
02:42because Newcastle have had a fantastic start themselves after getting beat by Fulham last week.
02:49But I think when Brian McVeigh comes back, maybe the right-back area has been a bit of an issue as well.
02:56Paterson played 60 minutes for the Under-21s, but is he Sean Dyche's first choice?
03:01Michalenko missed out against Leicester.
03:03So there are some mitigating factors and ultimately it's up to Sean's eyes to remedy what's going on.
