19:32When you want to talk action, ladies and gentlemen,
19:34you have to be talking about the most resilient,
19:37the most entertaining WWF superstar perhaps of all time,
19:41returning to the Royal Rumble,
19:43the heartbreak kid, the one and only Shawn Michaels.
19:48Yes, there he is, the most flamboyant, the most charismatic WWF superstar
19:52in the world today, Shawn Michaels.
19:55I am the most exciting athlete in the World Wrestling Federation.

20:36I was riding high as the World Wrestling Federation's top dog,
20:40but then Shawn Michaels got a reality check
20:42as he was jumped by nine thugs in Syracuse, New York.
20:46Due to the severity of Shawn Michaels' concussion,
20:51I have asked Shawn Michaels to publicly forfeit
20:54the Intercontinental belt to me tonight.
20:57I had to do it in front of the whole world.
21:00It just wasn't an easy thing to do.
21:03From that point, I let my ego take over
21:08and tried to get back into the ring
21:11against the advice of doctors and friends and family.
21:16And that also proved to be a mistake.
21:21I collapsed in the middle of the ring on live television,
21:25and all I remember is being escorted off to the hospital.
21:30Technically, Shawn does have brain damage.
21:33With Shawn's current neurological status,
21:36any additional blows to the head could be life-threatening.
21:40I have goals and I have dreams.
21:43And I don't know that I could live with myself
21:47with myself, with the people around me,
21:53if I didn't do the one thing that I know is important to me,
22:00the one thing that I know that I'm really good at.
22:03So Shawn Michaels at this time is throwing his name
22:07into the many names that will be competing
22:10at the Royal Rumble in Fresno.
22:13By now, it has become quite obvious to everyone
22:16the hopes and dreams of a 12-year-old boy
22:19to become the World Wrestling Federation champion
22:22is still beat inside the heart of this 30-year-old man.
22:26Thanks to the fans of the World Wrestling Federation
22:29and myself, I've been given a second chance.
22:32But now time is at the essence.
22:35And this Sunday night, the road to the World Wrestling Federation champion

22:42goes through Fresno, California and the Royal Rumble.
