00:00Drinking and rating coffee in Manchester. My name's Derek Euston-Betts and welcome to Coffee
00:03Catch-Up. Today's coffee is from the Carhartt Café and it's a long black. So let's have a look at
00:10what the Manchester World Team have been putting out over the weekend. To start with some urgent
00:14news. Adam Lowe's put out a piece this morning on a storm that seems Manchester-bound today.
00:18The Met Office have issued a yellow warning for the whole of Great Manchester. There's a possibility
00:22of floods, driving will be less than ideal and there might be some delays to public transport.
00:27Secondly, he's also done a piece on Manchester's Christmas market. I know we're a bit away from
00:31it but these are just dates for your diary. Friday, November 8th is when they open and
00:34they close on December 22nd. Crafts and Goods stalls are open from 10 to 8,
00:38food and drink will be at 11 till 9. Finally, he's done a lovely piece on Band of the Wall.
00:42It's about the Industrial Revolution, the wars, the current regeneration and now it's a music
00:47venue which has all kinds of niche, talented, brilliant people. It's a really good piece and
00:51it's well worth a read. The coffee is very nice, just what I needed on a cold, cold day.
00:55I'm going to go 6.8. Thanks very much for watching, we'll see you next week.
