00:00Tasting and rating coffee in Manchester.
00:02Hello and welcome to Coffee Catch-Up.
00:03Here at Manchester World, we've got some wonderful writers
00:05who really know what they're talking about.
00:07So while I'm trying this long black from 200 degrees,
00:10let's have a look at some of the great work
00:11that our team have done over the last few days.
00:13We're gonna start off with Sophia,
00:14who's done a full roundup of everything you need to know
00:15about the Christmas markets this year.
00:17They opened last Friday to much fanfare,
00:18and on that article you can find everything you need to know
00:20from opening times to the locations of stalls.
00:23Please give it a read if you're keen to get down
00:24to one of Manchester's most popular events of the year.
00:26I've also gotta give a quick shout out
00:28to our wonderful editor, Adam Lord,
00:29who's written up some of the detail
00:30from the video I produced
00:31for the opening of the markets last week.
00:33The video is well worth a watch,
00:34but the article gives you all the detail,
00:36including information about a certain loaded Yorkshire pudding
00:38that I cannot speak highly enough about.
00:40Patrick Harless hasn't been slacking either.
00:41He's done a wonderful piece about the grave
00:43of a greater Manchester soldier
00:44who was given a new headstone
00:45ahead of this year's Remembrance Day.
00:46The soldier's name's Edward Price,
00:48and after dying in 1918 following a discharge from the army,
00:50he's now been recognised as a Commonwealth War casualty.
00:53It's a lovely story and well worth a read.
00:55That's all from the Manchester World team this week.
00:57I hope you keep tuning in,
00:58and we'll see you again next week.
