00:00Hello, movies in a nutshell here. Today we are doing a review of a horror movie called Carrie. Pay attention to spoilers.
00:13Margaret White is a religious fanatic and she is confused, because she thinks that everything is wrong, especially if it is connected to women, their bodies and sex.
00:21In the opening scenes, she is on a bloody bed, screaming in pain and praying to God to forgive her sins.
00:26She is so over the top because she thinks she is dying of cancer, but in reality she is giving birth.
00:32When the pain finally subsides, she looks between her legs and is shocked when she looks at the newborn girl.
00:39Margaret thinks she is a newborn because of the sin she committed with her ex-husband.
00:44She brings the torches, preparing to kill the baby, but she can't agree to that.
00:49The little girl is eventually named Carrie.
00:51During a few years, Margaret forces her religious beliefs on Carrie and does not leave her any freedom.
