00:11Take me out to the ballgame.
00:12Take me out to Monday Night Raw.
00:41You're rockin' and rollin' here tonight.
00:45We're ready for action.
00:47We're ready for World Wrestling Federation action.
00:51Welcome, everyone, to Monday Night Raw on Vince McMahon, along with Bobby the Brain
00:57Hinton and his back, the Macho Man Randy.
01:00Oh, yeah.
01:01And here tonight, the Lex Express rolls into town.
01:05Rex Luger steps off, steps into this ring and signs a contract for the World Wrestling
01:10Federation title matchup at SummerSlam.
01:13He and Yokozuna in this very ring.
01:16In addition to it, Tataka meets Mr. Hughes.
01:20I think, Tataka, this is the last time you'll ever be on the Warpath.
01:25His undefeated streak is gonna end tonight.
01:28And what about it?
01:29The Macho Midget makes his debut last week, and he's back.
01:33Oh, yeah.
01:34The Macho Midget is here, and his tag team partners are the Bushwhackers.
01:39It's gonna be wild.
01:40Oh, yeah.
01:41A six-man tag team matchup plus the first appearance of the Heavenly Bodies.
01:46Here we go.
01:47Woo!
01:48Woo!
01:49Woo!
01:50Woo!
01:51Woo!
01:52Woo!
01:53Woo!
01:54Woo!
01:55Woo!
01:56Woo!
01:57Woo!
01:58Woo!
01:59Woo!
02:00Woo!
02:01Woo!
02:02And the winner, undefeated, his opponent, Mr. Hughes,
02:05urn in hand, seems to be a bit nonplussed about this whole matchup,
02:10including with confidence is the imposing figure of Mr. Hughes.
02:16I'll tell you something about Tataka McMahon.
02:18He knows in the back of his mind it could all end right now.
02:21His undefeated streak is just about over,
02:24and the man with the urn is the man that can do it, Mr. Hughes.
02:28Whole eyes are watching this match.
02:30Wondering about the cold eyes of The Undertaker.
02:33Looking back, The Undertaker's somewhere looking on.
02:36The Undertaker, no doubt, looking forward to locking.
02:39Look out from behind!
02:41Hughes now hammering away on Tataka.
02:44The first mistake, perhaps, in this matchup for the Native American.
02:47Don't turn your back on Hughes.
02:50A reversal now.
02:51It's Hughes coming off the rope.
02:52Tataka going downstairs.
02:53Right back collision.
02:54Oh, yes!
02:55Nice maneuver by Hughes coming upstairs and turning Tataka over.
02:59But Hughes did not follow through.
03:02Well, the bottom line is,
03:04Mr. Hughes is in complete control of this match.
03:07He's setting his own pace,
03:08and he's setting the pace that Tataka's gonna have to endure.
03:11I disagree one million percent.
03:13Mr. Hughes was tentative.
03:15He should have jumped on Tataka.
03:17Big mistake.
03:19And once again, a wreath has been placed at ringside,
03:22courtesy, no doubt, of The Undertaker.
03:24Well, you never know, McMahon.
03:26Maybe Mr. Hughes has sent one for Tataka.
03:28You know, it's the end of his career right now.
03:30He's gonna be defeated.
03:31You know that.
03:32Rumors, accusations, and lies coming from the brain.
03:35That's from The Undertaker to Mr. Hughes for thievery.
03:38Oh, my!
03:39Look at that!
03:40All right, look at that!
03:41Hey, hey, hey!
03:42That's a lot!
03:43Two, three!
03:44He got it!
03:45He got it!
03:46No, that was a count of two.
03:47That wasn't a victory.
03:48Tataka now trapping away on Hughes.
03:51Hughes!
03:52Awesome!
03:53Look at the size of Hughes, if you would.
03:54They should call him Mr. Huge.
03:56Not Hughes.
03:58Hughes hammering away on Tataka.
04:00That's about as close to a three count as I've ever seen.
04:04Hughes now trying to set up the Native American as he had once before.
04:06Off the rope, and this time, missing with a clothesline.
04:09Right back at-
04:10Cover him!
04:11Get the leg!
04:12No!
04:13Could not hook the leg.
04:14Tataka, no leverage there.
04:16Off the rope again.
04:17Oh, and that run right into a clothesline.
04:21That's like running into the brick wall.
04:23The Undertaker, a date with destiny.
04:26As the Undertaker heads to SummerSlam, but without the urn.
04:30As the Undertaker faces the Giant Gonzales,
04:33and you wonder whether or not Hughes will be at ringside.
04:36Off the rope again, missing for the second time.
04:38Tataka now-
04:39Oh, come on, ref, get in there.
04:41Who manages Mr. Hughes?
04:43You know who manages him.
04:44Right, who manages the Giant Gonzales?
04:46Obviously, Harvey Whippleman managing both men.
04:49Well, there's a good chance then at SummerSlam
04:52you're going to see Mr. Hughes.
04:54He owns the urn.
04:55He keeps the urn.
04:56Wait, wait, wait.
04:57He owns the urn?
04:58Yes, he owns the urn.
04:59Possession's nine-tenths of the law.
05:01Temporarily R.I.P., dig it?
05:04Well, it's going to take a lot more than sending a bunch of posies
05:07to Mr. Hughes to upset him, to maybe ruffle his feathers.
05:10He's tearing that wreath apart every time one's mailed him,
05:13just like he's going to take The Undertaker apart.
05:16That remains to be seen.
05:18The eight-foot Giant Gonzales,
05:19the opponent of The Undertaker at SummerSlam.
05:21Meanwhile, Mr. Hughes,
05:22likely to get his mitts on The Taker
05:24as well as he is with the Tonka.
05:26Another devastating clothesline.
05:29He's telegraphing it,
05:31but the Tonka's got so much speed,
05:33he's just running right smack in there.
05:34Bobby Hayden, I'm beginning to think you may be right.
05:37This could very well be the first defeat
05:39of the Native American.
05:40We'll be back.
05:42We're back with more Monday Night Raw.
05:43Mr. Hughes really applying the pressure on the reverse chin lock.
05:46Through the prank, Mr. Hughes has really been pummeling The Tonka.
05:50I can smell that undefeated string leaving Raw here right now.
05:55The Tonka's gonna be beat.
05:56And with SummerSlam only three weeks away,
05:58every competitor wanting to have a bit more momentum
06:02going into SummerSlam.
06:03The Tonka at SummerSlam as well.
06:05The Tonka teaming up with the Smoking Guns
06:07in the six-man matchup,
06:08opposed by The Beast from the east,
06:10Van Van Bigelow,
06:11and his partners, The Head Shrinkers.
06:13Well, and Lula Vachon will be in the corner.
06:15Going down now to the buckle.
06:17And here comes Hughes.
06:18Hughes missing.
06:19It appears as though Hughes's forehead struck the ring post.
06:23Yes, I believe he cracked his glasses.
06:26The Tonka with a chop now.
06:28The Tonka with momentum.
06:29The Tonka just bailing.
06:30Hughes, the glasses went flying.
06:32The Tonka coming off the rope.
06:33Another big chop.
06:34Down he goes.
06:35The Tonka now.
06:36Picking up momentum as he goes.
06:38Off the rope again.
06:39Another huge chop.
06:42Hey, hey, with all those shades,
06:43now I know who he is.
06:45I know who he is.
06:46That's Barry White.
06:48The block.
06:49Down goes Barry.
06:50Down goes Mr. Hughes.
06:52The Tonka trying to recover it.
06:54He's got the shot right there.
06:56The Tonka comes off the rope,
06:57and Hughes sidestepping over the top goes the Tonka.
07:02You know, it appears to me
07:03as neither of these opponents
07:04have tried to cover each other.
07:06No, I think they're anxious to pummel each other.
07:09They're anxious to have a bit of momentum here
07:11as we approach Summer Slam,
07:12and unfortunately, it looks like Hughes
07:15is gonna be the man with the momentum.
07:18And the count continues here by the official.
07:21Hughes can easily hear the official count.
07:24Hughes content on pummeling the Tonka.
07:27He wants to be, wait a minute.
07:29Whoa!
07:30A back body drop.
07:31The Tonka slides onto the rope,
07:33but the Tonka again.
07:34Yeah, the Tonka.
07:35Can he beat the Tonka?
07:36Can he beat the Tonka?
07:37Mr. Hughes, he messed up.
07:38He messed himself over.
07:40Hughes can't believe it.
07:42The winner of this bout,
07:44Ted Hunkka!
07:48The Tonka, he broke his back.
07:50Hughes reached off with a count.
07:52Wait a minute.
07:53Wait a minute.
07:54What?
07:55What?
07:56How are you able to do it, Ted?
07:57What's that mean?
07:58You can see what's happening here.
08:00How are you able to do it?
08:01It looks like it's a knockout.
08:02It looks like it's a knockout.
08:03It looks like it's a knockout.
08:04It looks like it's a knockout.
08:05It looks like it's a knockout.
08:06It looks like it's a knockout.
08:08Hughes just leveling the Tonka.
08:12I would say he's earned this victory.
08:14I would say Hughes is embarrassed to get beat by the Tonka.
08:18The Tonka shoved Hughes in the face.
08:20The man wears prescription glasses.
08:22He's totally unacceptable as far as I'm concerned.
08:25Well, this was not much of a wrestling match at all here
08:28on Monday Night RAW.
08:30He's spotted the wreath now.
08:32And Hughes, after nailing Tataka with the urn, now takes a look at the wreath and
08:38destroys the wreath, compliments of the-
08:41What's he doing?
08:42He's bringing it inside.
08:44Hughes, bringing this wreath in.
08:47Come on.
08:50Services for Mr. Tataka will be in about five minutes.
08:54Tataka can see another dent in that urn, and Tataka is coming back around.
09:01He was leveled by Mr. Hughes.
09:04Nonetheless, he was victorious, and Mr. Hughes, embarrassed by Tataka's victory,
09:09just-
09:10So now you're going to face the Undertaker, just like the 8-foot giant Gonzalez will,
09:15at SummerSlam in about three weeks.
09:18Exactly.
09:20Promotional consideration paid for by the following.
09:31You've got to want it.
09:36In an effort to find out more about the character and background of the man who
09:40would be World Wrestling Federation Champion at SummerSlam, here is Lex Luger.
09:51I chose football.
09:53Boy, I was going to be, you know, you're 18 years old, you're full of confidence
09:58athletically, and boy, I was going to make it in pro football and be an all-pro,
10:02like we all dream.
10:03We all have aspirations.
10:04I think aspirations are great.
10:05But I learned a very hard lesson very quickly at University of Miami.
10:09And I, once again, wanted to be accepted and make friends.
10:13I got in with the wrong crowd, I guess, the wrong group, who I thought were the
10:16cool guys to hang out with and be with and spend time with.
10:20And I made a lot of mistakes.
10:23I paid for those mistakes.
10:25I ended up getting in a lot of disciplinary problems at University of
10:28Miami.
10:29I actually had to leave the team for disciplinary reasons.
10:33And boy, that was a time, I think, my...
10:36It's part of growing up and maturing, but at that time, there I was, out of
10:40school, thought my life was falling apart before me.
10:43And that's the time when I really felt, for the first time, I had to be a man.
10:49Everybody has a lot of advice for you when something like that happens.
10:52Some good, some bad.
10:55The overwhelming response was, don't.
10:58Try to make a profession of football at that age.
11:00There's no turning back once you try out with a pro team.
11:03And you just don't have the experience or the skill at this point in time to
11:06make it.
11:08And if there's one thing about Alexa Luger, if you tell him he can't do
11:12something, then that's exactly what I'm going to try to go do and do
11:16everything within my power to make it happen.
11:19I like to try to turn negative always into a positive.
11:22And I use that negativity as a motivational tool.
11:25And I went up to the Canadian Football League.
11:28And at age 19, I made the team.
11:30I ended up starting in the Grey Cup, which is their equivalent to the
11:33Super Bowl, my rookie year.
11:35And it was a tremendous thrill.
11:37Yeah, I ended up playing three years in the Canadian Football League.
11:40I ended up playing two more years in the National Football League with
11:43Green Bay and then the USFL for them.
11:45So never wanting to stay in one place, I ended up playing two more years
11:49in the United States Football League.
11:52And then I went back home to Florida where I played my college ball.
11:56And at the same time, the disappointment my parents had in me having
12:00left Miami for disciplinary reasons, I felt obligation due to the way
12:04I was brought up to go ahead and finish school in the off-seasons,
12:08which is what I did.
12:10And at that point then, I had another big decision to make because I
12:14always wanted to use football as a stepping stone.
12:17I never wanted to use it, have football use me.
12:20I said I'd play for five years and get out.
12:22And here I was at the seven-year mark.
12:24And then once again, I'm at a decision point of my career.
12:27I played two years longer than I planned on playing.
12:32Well, my parents, of course, had hoped and prayed that I'd finally get
12:35a real job, so to speak.
12:37And I was lined up to go to Stetson down in Florida and go to graduate
12:41school to become an attorney.
12:43And lo and behold, not me.
12:45I had to end up walking in.
12:47It was right then WrestleMania.
12:49It hit the airwaves and the sound waves in a big way.
12:52Everybody said, God, Lex, you'd be great for something like that.
12:55And I walked into the office at Championship Wrestling in Florida,
12:58which at the time had been a real training ground for a lot of new
13:01wrestlers who wanted to become wrestlers at the time.
13:05And three months later, I was in the ring wrestling.
13:13Well, Yokozuna, don't say Lex Luger won't defeat you because he probably
13:17will be the next WWF champion at SummerSlam.
13:21Brains and Brawn, an unbeatable combination.
13:24Luger graduating with a 3.78 brain point average.
13:28He earned that degree during the off season.
13:30And you should know about Brains and Brawn yourself, Randy Savage,
13:33because you're a former member of the National Honor Society.
13:36I got chills after hearing Lex Luger.
13:38He was so honest.
13:39Man, that's the way to do it.
13:41Double thumbs up to Lex Luger and double thumbs up to the Macho Ninja.
13:45Yeah.
13:46Brains and Brawn, what do you make of this, Bobby Heenan?
13:49Well, you got the Macho Midget on a half shell,
13:51and you got two garbage collectors in New Zealand.
13:53You work it out.
13:54Yeah.
13:57We're back with more Monday Night Raw.
13:58And yes, you haven't seen anything yet.
14:01Just when you thought you had seen it all on Monday Night Raw,
14:04something else pops up.
14:05Look at this, a six-man matchup.
14:07The Macho Midget with Luke Inbush, the Bushwhacker.
14:10Is it a six-man matchup or a four-and-a-half-man matchup?
14:13I mean, how do you figure this?
14:16Well, he's a friend of mine.
14:18I guess he is.
14:19I can't tell him apart, whether it's Savage or the Macho Midget.
14:22On the close-ups, it's kind of tough.
14:24And Doink the Clown was having his problems telling him apart last week
14:28when the Macho Man took the victory over Doink the Clown.
14:32Well, there'll be a victory here for the Bushwhackers and the Macho Midget.
14:35Well, who's going to do the thinking for that team?
14:37What do you mean?
14:38I mean, tell me, the Bushwhackers, they can't think.
14:40And the Macho Midget, who knows?
14:42He's a halfwit, if you know what I mean.
14:44Watch it.
14:45It's just not another pretty face, Bobby Heenan.
14:47He can think, too.
14:48Yeah, yeah.
14:49And what if it just go on instinct?
14:51As long as they are victorious, who cares?
14:54Wait a minute.
14:55Take a look at this, Bobby Heenan.
14:56Dancing, dancing, dancing.
14:58Yeah, get down.
14:59He's a dancing machine.
15:00Ah-ha!
15:01Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
15:04What do you think of that?
15:06Hey, wait a minute.
15:07It's only rock and roll, but we like it.
15:09The Bushwhackers headed to All-American, as a matter of fact,
15:12this coming weekend, this Sunday.
15:15That's right.
15:16And they're going to be taking on Jacques and Pierre,
15:18the Quebeckers, this Sunday on All-American,
15:20with my, uh, the guy that runs errands for me,
15:22Mean Gene Alterman.
15:23I see.
15:24An outstanding match-up on All-American.
15:26This should be an outstanding match-up, as well.
15:28Luke starting things off.
15:30Back to the corner now.
15:31And as for the clean break, and Blake Beverly gives him one.
15:35No, he doesn't.
15:36Wild swing, misses.
15:37Going downstairs, going upstairs now.
15:39Beverly to the far side, reversal.
15:42Blake moves in and misses by a mile.
15:44Luke-
15:45Uh-oh, wait a minute.
15:46What's he doing down there?
15:47He's biting.
15:48What do you think he's doing?
15:49Brooklyn Brawler is being-
15:50Wait a minute.
15:51They're biting all over the place here.
15:53It's like a cafeteria.
15:54Look at the Macho Midget doing the thing, yeah, right there.
15:58Missed lunch ideas.
16:00I don't know, but pandemonium has broken loose here.
16:03Is that hillbilly, Jim?
16:05Stop it.
16:06That's not hillbilly, Jim.
16:07Wait a minute.
16:09What is going on here?
16:11Dropkick, down goes Little Louie.
16:13And the Buzzcrackers, Luke and Butch,
16:16left by the Macho Midget, having a grand old time on Monday Night Raw.
16:21Check out the well-conditioned hair on the Macho Midget.
16:24And a good look at Butch, who had quite an outstanding scholastic average
16:29down in New Zealand as well.
16:31Yes, he knew the plastic garbage cans from the metal ones.
16:34He knew where to put the lids.
16:35The man's a genius.
16:36Luke and Butch, yay.
16:39They're brothers or they're cousins?
16:42We said before, they're cousins.
16:44Kids and cousins.
16:45Whatever it is, they thus far have been-
16:48Wait a minute, look at this.
16:49I don't like that.
16:51Little Louie exerting himself, somewhat of a size advantage there.
16:55Little Louie against the Macho Midget.
16:57His face is so similar to that of the Macho Man, Randy Savage.
17:01And I must say, yes, the hair is very much like yours.
17:08Macho Midget having a bad hair day.
17:10Off the rope, and look out where she stops.
17:12Nobody knows how many footsteps is the Macho Midget taking.
17:16Little Louie's taking about-
17:17Wait a minute.
17:18Little Louie's gonna run out of gas at this rate.
17:20Little Louie's not the brightest little guy going, is he?
17:22I guess not.
17:24Louie's looking for the show answer man right now.
17:26He's slowing up, going slower and slower.
17:29What are you running for, Louie?
17:31It's not a race.
17:32Dropkick by the Macho Midget.
17:34Little Louie to the outside.
17:35Check it out.
17:38Louie was working out.
17:40Wait a minute.
17:41Blake now coming in.
17:43Blake with Luke.
17:44Blake off the rope.
17:45No, that's Butch in there.
17:46Butch with the elbow.
17:48Butch trying to set up Blake again.
17:50Whips him to the near side.
17:51Coming up.
17:52Ooh, Mike drives a knee to the midsection.
17:54I can't wait till someone gets their hands on the Macho Midget.
17:58Hey, wait a minute.
17:59Let's be nice there.
18:00Cover here, Doc.
18:01Brower nailing his own man to the shoulder.
18:03Brooklyn Brower and Blake now in the clutches of Bushwacker Butch.
18:07Brower, this is Beverly.
18:08How do you do?
18:09Ooh, my.
18:10No timing in psychology here.
18:12Just pure craziness.
18:14Well, thus far, it's effective with it.
18:16Wait a minute.
18:17Ooh, my.
18:18Slap.
18:19Just like Randy Macho Man Savage.
18:21Always interfering.
18:22Always sticking his nose where it don't belong.
18:25You're welcome.
18:26Blake having problems with Little Louie, his own tag partner.
18:30Meanwhile, the Macho Midget looks on.
18:34You can't argue amongst yourselves or it's over.
18:37You gotta work as a team.
18:40A unit.
18:42Macho Midget there, tagging in.
18:46Encouraged by Luke and Butch to Bushwackers.
18:48And now, Little Louie and Macho Midget ready to lock up once again.
18:53Definitely a bad hair day.
18:57I guess Louie doesn't like the look in the eyes.
19:01Wait a minute.
19:02Locking back.
19:03Uh-oh.
19:04Little Louie.
19:05He loves dessert.
19:06No, he doesn't.
19:07Shoulder up.
19:08Count of two.
19:09Up again.
19:10He loves dessert.
19:11He loves two.
19:12What were you saying?
19:13Little Louie.
19:14One, two.
19:15No, that wasn't a count.
19:16You don't want Little Louie.
19:17I said he loves dessert.
19:18He loves the dirt.
19:19Loves dessert.
19:20Dessert?
19:21Why?
19:22I don't know.
19:23I always see him ordering shortcake.
19:24You're a riot, Dean.
19:25You know who his favorite comedian is?
19:26No.
19:27Martin Short.
19:28Oh, you're having a blast this weekend.
19:29Aren't you?
19:30Oh, yeah.
19:31I don't see nothing funny.
19:32You know what he likes for his entree?
19:33What?
19:34Shrimp.
19:35Bobby Heenan is beside himself.
19:36But you won't be laughing if Little Louie, the Brawler, and Blake Beverly are defeated.
19:37I don't think that'll happen.
19:38A cover here.
19:39Uh-oh.
19:40And several times now, Little Louie.
19:41Oh, no.
19:42Oh, no.
19:43Oh, no.
19:44Oh, no.
19:45Oh, no.
19:46Oh, no.
19:47Oh, no.
19:48Oh, no.
19:49Oh, no.
19:50Oh, no.
19:51Oh, no.
19:52Oh, no.
19:53Oh, no.
19:54Oh, no.
19:55Oh, no.
19:56Oh, no.
19:57Oh, no.
19:58Oh, no.
19:59Oh, no.
20:00Yeah, good save by Little Louie.
20:01And finally, reaches a tag.
20:02Here comes Bushwacker Butch and now with the brawler.
20:03Downstair, upstairs, off the rope, there goes the brawler.
20:04Got momentum now, but leveling, but look at this, Beverly now.
20:06It doesn't matter.
20:08Hit them all.
20:11Hit the rappear to cheer.
20:16It certainly does matter.
20:20About ring round.
20:22Oh, that's using your head all right.
20:25And Bushwacker Butch and Luke there double team effort coming up.
20:29down to the canvas, the cover, will they get him?
20:34No, referee says no, no, no, no, come on, out, out.
20:36Wait a minute, actually, it's Luke, it's Luke giving directions in there.
20:41Who's directing traffic here?
20:43Check this out.
20:44I think actually the legal man is the Macho Midget.
20:47He's perching the top rope, down to the cover, one, two, yes.
20:52Raised his hand in victory.
20:55Now isn't that three against one in there?
20:57Were both the Bushwhackers responsible for putting the Macho Midget on the top
21:01rope, knocking down the- Forget it, why don't you just shut up?
21:05Nonetheless, Bush just gave the Macho Midget a licking on the side of the face.
21:10It was the Macho Midget who defeated the Brooklyn Brawler another first here,
21:14folks, on Monday Night Raw.
21:16That was a short match.
21:18Well, here you go again.
21:19Wait a minute, Brawler going in, Brawler first line.
21:24Don't mess with the Macho Man, and don't mess with the Macho Midget.
21:27I'm surprised he didn't use his finish hold.
21:29What's that?
21:30Small package.
21:33We're having fun on Monday Night Raw, but
21:35when we return, there's gonna be some very serious business.
21:46Would you please welcome the reigning World Wrestling Federation Champion,
21:50here is Yokozuna.
21:54Take a look at the size of Yokozuna.
22:09Well, Fuji said he weighed 568 pounds that afternoon on the Intrepid.
22:15But I believe he's closer to maybe 575, maybe 600.
22:21And look at his dignity, how he carries the belt.
22:23Wait a minute, what's going on here?
22:26What is this?
22:29That's Jim Cornette.
22:30I told you, he's gonna set the WWE up on fire.
22:34He's full of surprises.
22:35What is the meaning of this?
22:43What is the meaning of this?
22:50Pardon me, what is the meaning?
22:51What are you doing here?
22:53Don't come to me if you wanna know the facts.
22:56Go to Mr. Fuji, because he is the manager of the champion.
23:00I don't know, what's he doing here?
23:02Yokozuna and myself have officially hired American spokesman, Mr. Jim Cornette.
23:10Wait a minute, let me understand.
23:15You're the official spokesperson for Yokozuna?
23:19Let me just explain one thing to all you people.
23:21You see, the people of Japan are the leaders worldwide when it comes to
23:26industry, finance, commerce, they work harder, they're honest, they're diligent.
23:31And they mean everything they say.
23:34They are without doubt the most honest people on the planet.
23:37However, Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna- Listen to this.
23:43They got the rhythm.
23:44Mr. Fuji and Yokozuna have been at a disadvantage.
23:49They've been at a handicap since they've been in the World Wrestling Federation,
23:52because they have a limited knowledge of the English language.
23:56And the interpreters, the lawyers, that they have been furnished by
24:01the World Wrestling Federation, by crooked politicians like Jack Tunney over there.
24:06How dare you?
24:07I dare and he does too.
24:09They have furnished them the interpreters and
24:11they have given them false information.
24:14So now I'm the official spokesperson, I'm the official English language interpreter.
24:19And brother, there ain't a word of English that you can run by me that I can't dissect
24:23and shoot right back at you.
24:25And I'm gonna take a look at that contract before anything gets signed around here.
24:30Because Mr. Fuji has instructed me to look it over and
24:33make sure there's no irregularities like Jack Tunney has been noted for in the past.
24:37Could we?
24:38Let me see that thing.
24:43Hold on here.
24:44Uh-huh, okay.
24:45That about, that's it, that's it.
24:48Hey, wait, hold on.
24:48It's in there?
24:51Okay, I think that's about it.
24:54Wait a minute, is that in pencil?
24:55No, okay, that's all right.
24:57That is the contract that Mr. Fuji has approved that I have interpreted for
25:01him to sign for Yokozuna, so everything can proceed.
25:04Just chat amongst yourselves, we got some business to attend to here.
25:06Don't worry, I'll get you through this, kid.
25:10All right, ladies and gentlemen, with that in mind,
25:13would you please welcome right now the man who slammed
25:19Yokozuna on America's birthday on the USS Intrepid.
25:25Would you please welcome the man who is crisscrossing this
25:30great country of ours on the Lex Express,
25:33the Lex Luger Call to Action campaign.
25:37Would you please welcome the man who steps into the ring in Auburn Hills,
25:43Michigan, at SummerSlam to face Yokozuna.
25:46Ladies and gentlemen, here is Lex Luger.
25:53Yokozuna!
25:54Lex Luger!
25:55Lex Luger!
25:56♪
26:01♪
26:06♪
26:11♪
26:16♪
26:21♪
26:26♪
26:31♪
26:36♪
26:41♪
26:47Gentlemen, please be seated.
26:51Gentlemen, if you would please be seated.
26:54Mr. Luger, Mr. Yokozuna.
27:00Mr. Tani, if you would proceed.
27:02Yokozuna, if you'll please sign the official contract
27:15affirming your participation in the title match at SummerSlam.
27:32He's never taken his eyes off Luger.
27:37USA! USA! USA! USA!
27:45Mr. Luger, would you do likewise?
27:47USA! USA! USA! USA!
27:56Thank you very much.
27:58And it's official, the matchup for SummerSlam.
28:02Lex Luger versus Yokozuna.
28:07Hey, hey, hey.
28:08Hey, wait a minute, Luger.
28:09Before you get antsy, brother, I got something to tell you.
28:13Jack Tani, well, he can't even see with binoculars.
28:15He's blind as a bat.
28:17But Lex Luger, there's a clause in that contract
28:20that Mr. Fuji instructed me to add.
28:22At SummerSlam, you got your shot at Yokozuna.
28:26If you beat him, then you will be
28:29the World Wrestling Federation champion.
28:31You'll be soaring with eagle.
28:33No question about it.
28:38But if you don't beat Yokozuna,
28:43then you'll never, ever get another shot at that title
28:47because there's no rematch.
28:49You'll be scratching with the chickens, brother.
28:51You'll never see that belt again.
28:53You blow it once, that's your last chance.
28:56All right, what about this last attempt
29:00of chicanery on the part of Mr. Fuji?
29:02What about this last-minute provision?
29:04I'm glad they're so amused with themselves
29:06with the fine print
29:08because you can fine print me
29:10and all these people here to death.
29:12It doesn't matter.
29:14You want a stipulation of a forearm pad?
29:17Well, that's fine with me.
29:19All I asked for was one shot,
29:22one opportunity.
29:23In this great country of ours,
29:25that's what opportunity is all about.
29:29I won't need more than one shot.
29:32You can count on that.
29:33And I'm gonna keep on taking the Lex Express
29:36from one coast to the other.
29:38I've already met thousands of people
29:40who are supporting me.
29:41That's why I'm standing here right now
29:44with a contract in my hand.
29:48And I'm gonna meet thousands of more people
29:51when I go to that ring
29:53and I pull up curbside
29:55in Auburn Hills at the Palace.
29:57We're gonna kick that door in.
29:59And when I say we,
30:00I mean everybody in here,
30:02everybody I've met across this country,
30:04and we're gonna take that belt
30:06and bring it back to the United States of America
30:09where it belongs.
30:13And remember, oh, you're real cute,
30:15and remember one more thing.
30:17There'll be one more thing in that plane back in Tokyo
30:20without the belt that you can think about
30:22that's gonna be ringing in your ears,
30:24and it begins with a U,
30:26it ends with an A,
30:27it has a male initial on that,
30:29and I want you to let them hear it right now.
30:31One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
30:35-♪♪
30:44-♪♪
30:56We're back with Femis Clarity.
30:58We're back with our Monday Night Raw.
30:59Bobby Heenan, your reaction
31:00to the official contract signing we saw earlier.
31:03Worst case of moths I've ever seen.
31:05Talking about that contract signing,
31:06it's very, very simple.
31:08It's Jim Cornette's presence.
31:10It's Jim Cornette that's making things happen.
31:12It's Jim Cornette that put in the small print.
31:15It's Jim Cornette that's gonna make sure
31:17that Fujii Yokozuna hold on to that title,
31:20and it's bye-bye, Mr. Wilkers.
31:22You got one shot at it,
31:23you better make the most of it.
31:25It's not like the Detroit Lions that think,
31:26well, just because we tie a game, we win a game.
31:29You gotta win to become champion.
31:31I see, and by the way,
31:32many of you saw CBS broadcast
31:34from Wembley Stadium just yesterday,
31:36the Detroit Lions squaring off
31:37against the Dallas Cowboys.
31:39A tie game, as Bobby Heenan brought up,
31:41and Wembley Stadium, the site of last year's SummerSlam.
31:45A record 80,355 fans joined us
31:50for last year's SummerSlam,
31:52and this year's SummerSlam,
31:54Detroit's presence is also gonna be felt
31:57because you can bet Bill Fralick
31:59from the Detroit Lions will be right there
32:00at ringside at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
32:04Exactly, and this is the land of opportunity
32:06and Lex Luger's American made,
32:08and just check out the wristbands
32:09in support of Lex Luger.
32:11Razor Ramon, thumbs up, yeah.
32:13Razor taking it to Dubille,
32:15and deals him across the ring.
32:18Well, you know, next week
32:19on Wrestling Challenges Show, I host,
32:21you're gonna see the King's Court with Jerry Lawler,
32:23and his guest is gonna be that man right there,
32:25Razor Ramon, who takes on Ted DiBiase,
32:28the Million Dollar Man at SummerSlam,
32:30and let's see what Razor has to say
32:32to the King, Jerry Lawler.
32:34Look, there's only one king in the WWF,
32:36and that's the Hitman Bret Hart, bottom line.
32:39And that matchup will determine indeed
32:40just who is the king of the World Wrestling Federation.
32:44Is it Jerry Lawler, or is it the Hitman Bret Hart,
32:46the man who won the King of the Ring tournament?
32:49It's ironic that it should take place
32:50at the Palace, isn't it?
32:52I suppose.
32:53A lot of irony here, Mr. Heenan.
32:56And right now, Duville is having his problems.
32:58Razor Ramon has been having fun in there.
33:00Razor Ramon will not be having too much fun,
33:04I don't believe, though, when he gets in there
33:06against the Million Dollar Man,
33:07Ted DiBiase, at SummerSlam.
33:08Well, and DiBiase's through with Razor Ramon.
33:10He's gonna be walking up and down
33:11Collins Boulevard in Miami Beach.
33:13Amigo, you like to buy maybe some gold,
33:15you maybe like to buy a ring.
33:17He's gonna be tapped out, he's gonna be bankrupt,
33:19he's gonna be busted.
33:21But Razor's gonna win the match.
33:23That remains to be seen.
33:24It's another great matchup headed your way
33:26three weeks from tonight at SummerSlam.
33:27Right now, Duville looks like he's headed someplace as well.
33:30Duville's on the top rope, he's headed down!
33:33Oh!
33:34Duville's had better days.
33:36What a suplex!
33:37I don't think he'll be doing that to DiBiase, though.
33:39You don't think?
33:40No, I don't think.
33:41Maybe not.
33:42Then again, it could be the Million Dollar Dream
33:43slapped on Razor Ramon.
33:46That would be a nightmare for Razor.
33:48Razor now setting up Duville.
33:50Look out, here he comes.
33:52Here comes the Razor's Edge.
33:54Up goes Duville, no place to go.
33:57Look at the look on his face.
33:58There's only one way to go.
34:00Fall down to the canvas.
34:03Razor hooks the leg.
34:05And the bad guy gets another one in the win column.
34:09I smell machismo.
34:11I don't like the way it smells.
34:13Razor Ramon, the bad guy.
34:16The face tapped DiBiase in three weeks time.
34:20We take you to the Summer Slam Report.
34:31Good evening, America.
34:32This Summer Slam Report brought to you by Chevrolet
34:35and tough Chevy trucks.
34:37Tough like a rock.
34:39Only three weeks from tonight at the Palace of Auburn Hills
34:41just outside of Detroit, it's Summer Slam.
34:44Monday, August 30th at 8 Eastern.
34:47And if you can't join us in the Motor City,
34:49contact the cable company you're watching right now
34:52and plan to join us live on pay-per-view.
34:55That main event is sure starting to look different.
34:58Just in the last half hour alone,
35:00we've learned that James E. Cornette
35:02has become the official American spokesman for Yokozuna.
35:06And during the contract signing,
35:08Cornette's business acumen became apparent
35:11with the stipulation that Lex Luger
35:13would only get this one shot
35:15at the World Wrestling Federation champion.
35:18This, of course, adding to the excitement
35:20of this summer spectacular.
35:22The king of the ring, Bret Hart,
35:24beats the self-proclaimed king, Jerry Lawler.
35:27This thing has gotten personal,
35:29if for no other reason than Lawler
35:31verbally insulting Bret Hart's mom and dad
35:34right here on Monday Night Raw a couple of weeks ago.
35:37In the rest in peace match,
35:39the Undertaker, oh my,
35:41is going to be meeting the 8-foot tall
35:43Giant Gonzalez.
35:45And here's one that could be
35:47the greatest Intercontinental title match ever.
35:49Champion, Shawn Michaels,
35:51with bodyguard Diesel in his corner,
35:53meets two-time former Intercontinental champion,
35:55Mr. Perfect.
35:56Can Perfect make it a three-peat?
35:58This and of course the other great matches
36:00you heard about right here on Monday Night Raw.
36:02And remember, ladies and gentlemen,
36:04it's only three weeks from tonight.
36:07If you can't join us in Detroit,
36:09contact the cable company you're watching right now
36:11regarding pay-per-view availability.
36:14And then get ready, one way or another,
36:16to join us Monday night, August 30th,
36:19for SummerSlam.
36:20Hey Vince, do I hear a little commotion?
36:22What's going on? Back to you.
36:25Always commotion here with the Heavenly Bodies.
36:27Take a look at it.
36:28Hey, get that camera out of my business.
36:30If you want to know what the Heavenly Bodies are about,
36:32then you just stay tuned,
36:33because after this break,
36:34they're going to show you in person.
36:35Now get out of here.
36:36We'll be back with the Heavenly Bodies
36:38on Monday Night Raw.
36:41We're back with more Monday Night Raw.
36:43Famous Clarity's in the ring,
36:44along with James E. Cornette.
36:46Wake up, wake up, rise and shine.
36:48Ladies and gentlemen, here they are.
36:50They're the object of every American woman's lust.
36:54They are the Doctor of Desire, Dr. Tom Prichard,
36:58and the gigolo Jimmy Del Rey.
37:00Give them a warm welcome, the Heavenly Bodies.
37:05Well, well, well.
37:07Well, well, well.
37:08Our first look at the Heavenly Bodies
37:10making their day in view
37:11here in the World Wrestling Federation.
37:13If you recall, Bobby Heenan,
37:15just last week,
37:16Cornette had the unmitigated gall
37:18to challenge the Steiner Brothers
37:20to put the title on the line
37:22against the Heavenly Bodies.
37:23And here he is,
37:24the man who's full of surprises,
37:26the shining light of Smoky Mountain Wrestling,
37:30Mr. Jim Cornette.
37:32He's full of surprises, all right.
37:34He's full of something else,
37:35some shish kebab or something.
37:37Nonetheless, Jim Cornette,
37:39the alleged shining light
37:40of Smoky Mountain Wrestling.
37:42The Heavenly Bodies have their own problems
37:45in the Smoky Mountain area
37:47with the Armstrong family,
37:49as a matter of fact.
37:50And what was this about
37:51the last Saturday night
37:52in Beckley, West Virginia?
37:54Cornette had his own personal problems.
37:56Well, that's not a real big personal problem,
37:58but what Mr. Cornette told me,
38:00if the Steiners accept the challenge,
38:02they will beat the Steiners, he said.
38:04My Heavenly Bodies will beat them
38:06and we'll take the WWF title
38:08back to the Smoky Mountain Wrestling.
38:10Well, Cornette, as you said before,
38:12pretty smart.
38:13He knows full well the Steiners
38:14aren't gonna refuse the challenge,
38:15especially in their hometown
38:17of Detroit, Michigan.
38:18But if, in fact,
38:19the Heavenly Bodies are victorious,
38:21it would be the very first time
38:22that a tag team title
38:23or any title has left
38:24the World Wrestling Federation
38:26and gone to another wrestling organization.
38:28Who knows?
38:29The Heavenly Bodies might pull an upset.
38:33Whoa, whoa!
38:34An upset?
38:35What do you mean an upset?
38:37What do you know about
38:38the Heavenly Bodies
38:39that I don't know?
38:40It wouldn't be an upset, McMahon.
38:41Well, maybe not.
38:42I know very little about
38:43the Heavenly Bodies.
38:44Look at that maneuver!
38:45My goodness.
38:46Cornette laughing.
38:47He likes what he sees.
38:48And Jimmy Del Rey
38:50in now after Tom Prichard
38:51has done some damage
38:52to Bobby Who?
38:54The guy in the ring.
38:55That's Who.
38:56His name is Bobby Who.
38:59Ooh, my!
39:00What a maneuver, Bobby!
39:01What a maneuver by Jimmy Del Rey!
39:04Gigolo Jimmy to his friends.
39:06I see.
39:07Gigolo Jimmy.
39:08By the way,
39:09speaking of premieres,
39:10as the Heavenly Bodies
39:11are making theirs this week
39:12on Monday Night Raw,
39:13Wednesday night, folks,
39:14here on USA Network,
39:16don't miss the premiere
39:17of a film entitled
39:18Praying Mantis.
39:20Now, let me read you
39:21the verbiage on this.
39:22She's one female
39:23who's deadlier than a black widow.
39:25She mates, she kills,
39:27and then she prays
39:28over and over again.
39:30I know her.
39:31It's the Heidi Fleiss story.
39:33It is not Heidi.
39:35Heidi Fleiss.
39:36Oh, my!
39:37I'll tell you one thing.
39:38My name's not in her black book,
39:39but I wonder whose is.
39:42I think everyone's wondering that.
39:43Everyone's wondering as well
39:44whether or not the Steiner Brothers
39:45are gonna accept the challenge
39:46from the Heavenly Bodies.
39:48Tagging back in now,
39:49Tom Prichard.
39:50Uh-oh, look at this.
39:51Prichard and Gigolo Jimmy.
39:53Double team effort here,
39:54and Bucci is having his problems
39:56as Bobby Who did earlier on.
39:58I must say,
39:59I'm very impressed thus far
40:00with the Heavenly Bodies.
40:01What about you, Macho Man?
40:02So am I,
40:03and if a match ever took place
40:04between them and the Steiner Brothers,
40:05hey, they're not gonna
40:06overpower the Steiner Brothers,
40:07but they make a lot of quick tags.
40:09They keep their opponent
40:10on their half of the ring,
40:11and they got Jimmy Cornette
40:12in their corner.
40:13Anything could happen.
40:14Oh, look at this.
40:15Hey, come on, Rad.
40:16Come on.
40:18Where do you think
40:19those Steiners are at, huh?
40:21They're hiding, Jimmy.
40:22They're hiding.
40:23Oh, my gosh!
40:24Oh, wait a minute.
40:25Look at this from the top rope!
40:26Whoa!
40:27And a moonsault
40:28by Jimmy Del Rey
40:29to counter
40:303-1 history!
40:31We are your winners,
40:33the Heavenly Bodies!
40:34Steiner, I suggest
40:35you tear up that contract
40:36and leave town.
40:37You don't want anything to do
40:38with the Heavenly Bodies.
40:39I'm impressed
40:40with the Heavenly Bodies,
40:41but I'm more impressed
40:42with the Steiner Brothers,
40:43and I believe they will accept
40:44the challenge
40:45in their own hometown
40:46of Motown.
40:47Look at this.
40:48Dig a load.
40:49Jimmy Del Rey,
40:50the Doctor of Desire,
40:51Tom Prichard,
40:52led by, yes,
40:53the man full of surprises,
40:56James E. Cornett,
40:57the official spokesperson
40:59for the WWF champion,
41:01Yokozuna,
41:02and perhaps the manager
41:03of the next tag team champion,
41:06the Heavenly Bodies.
41:08Who knows what's gonna happen
41:09here in the WWF?
41:11A very impressive debut
41:13on the part
41:14of the Heavenly Bodies.
41:15Wait a minute.
41:16What's going on here?
41:18Let's go back up
41:19the ringside now.
41:20Now, let me just say this.
41:22I'm sick and tired
41:25of the challenges being ignored.
41:27Steiner Brothers,
41:29you're the World Wrestling
41:30Federation tag team champions,
41:32but you're not the best
41:33tag team in the world.
41:35We are the Heavenly Bodies,
41:38and we want those tag team belts
41:40to prove it,
41:41and you're a bunch of
41:42yellow-stinking cowards
41:44if you don't answer
41:45our challenge.
41:47Rick and Scott Steiner
41:48are nothing but phony champions
41:51until they beat
41:52the greatest tag team
41:53in wrestling,
41:54and, brother,
41:55that's the Heavenly Bodies.
41:56Come here, Baldy.
41:58And why don't you people
41:59get a job or something
42:00instead of hanging around
42:01freeloading?
42:02Ha-ha!
42:04James E. Cornette
42:05at his best.
42:06Promotional consideration
42:08paid for by the following.
42:24Hacksaw, Jim Duggan,
42:25battles WWF champion
42:27Yokozuna.
42:28A rematch of their
