00:00The Ultimate Warrior is totally out of control!
00:04The power of the Ultimate Warrior.
00:10The Ultimate Warrior is a WWE icon.
00:14What an ovation for the Ultimate Warrior!
00:18Sprinting to the ring. I've never seen that done before. I haven't seen it done since.
00:22Is he hooked up or what?
00:24This guy's a lunatic.
00:26It was like a Molotov cocktail.
00:28Like, boom!
00:32It was a short run. 87 to 92.
00:35It was a history-making career.
00:37He just looked like a bleeding superhero.
00:39He looked like something off a comic book page.
00:43The Ultimate Warrior was somebody different.
00:46He was colorful.
00:48One strike from a cobra is not enough to hold back the power of Warrior 1!
00:53For me, the biggest thing is the impact he had on millions and millions of kids.
00:59You wanted to cheer for the Ultimate Warrior just because the Ultimate Warrior
01:03always was talking about bringing out the Ultimate Warrior inside of you.
01:07These are my warriors!
01:09They knew they were going to see something that they hadn't seen before.
01:12They're going to see energy, charisma, excitement, and they're going to see a whole lot of rope shaking.
01:17Warrior is really up! He's pumped sky high!
01:21Your ultimate destiny is ultimate defeat!
01:31For over 50 years, WWE has created unforgettable moments.
01:39But 95% of the most iconic items used to create those memorable moments...
01:44Look at Mysterio!
01:46...have gone missing.
01:47I heard you guys are looking for some treasure.
01:49Would you consider parting with it?
01:52Man, I can't believe you even asked that question.
01:54We want to bring them back to the fans.
01:59So I'm sending out the greatest WWE Legends ever!
02:02That's it!
02:03On a hunt to find the lost treasure.
02:06We got a deal!
02:07One incredible item at a time.
02:20James!
02:22No audio.
02:24You gotta make sure you hit that mute button, man.
02:29You hear me?
02:30Got ya.
02:31You know, you tech savvy, you tech savvy.
02:33I used to be, not anymore.
02:35Hey man, I know you're a busy man, I know you're a busy man.
02:39But let me give you a proper introduction.
02:43Four time world champion.
02:45Four time tag team champion.
02:47Let me tip my hat to you, sir.
02:49Former king of the ring.
02:53From one king to another.
02:55I appreciate that, your highness.
02:56Bow down to my man, King Bunker!
03:04You're a great king, but you're not the king of the ring.
03:07King Bunker!
03:10You were a great king, but you had no queen.
03:13No, no queen, no.
03:15I had a throne.
03:16It's good to be king!
03:18The lord of the ring stole a crown.
03:20A green cape.
03:21So it was definitely different to all the other king of the ring gimmicks.
03:27Now then, the reason why I needed you, Shane,
03:30is because we're gonna be trying to find some of the most iconic artifacts
03:34from one of the greatest legends that ever did.
03:36One of the greatest warriors that ever did it.
03:38The ultimate warrior.
03:39And I say, who better to help me go on a project like this
03:44than the Celtic warrior?
03:45Who matched the ultimate warrior, I would say, in intensity?
03:49Book, I'm honored, mate.
03:50I'm absolutely honored.
03:52I always wanted to be a professional wrestler.
03:54When I was a kid, I was a huge wrestling fan.
03:56I want to do what they're doing.
03:57Obviously, the warrior name is synonymous with ultimate warrior.
03:59One of my favorite wrestlers growing up.
04:01So it was kind of a tribute.
04:03That's the ultimate warrior!
04:05Don't think I'll ever get away wearing tassels or face paint.
04:08There is no one who has the intensity of the ultimate warrior!
04:14Just hearing the name ultimate warrior
04:16definitely brings you back to my childhood.
04:18WWE came in, I think it was like 87,
04:21and I remember watching it.
04:22Saw this huge, jacked up lad, long hair, tassels, face paint,
04:28colorful tights and boots and everything.
04:30Just haul it down to the ring, you know what I mean?
04:32Like there was an emergency.
04:34I was like, who is this fella?
04:36You know what I mean?
04:37What an awesome display of power by the warrior!
04:41He did so much in such a short time.
04:44We lost him way too soon.
04:50Ultimate warrior grew up in the Midwest.
04:52He was kind of a scrawny kid.
04:54His parents divorced when he was 12,
04:56and at that point, his father left the picture.
05:00And warrior finds an outlet for his frustration
05:03and his lack of confidence in the weight room.
05:06The weight room becomes his calling in life.
05:10Many wrestlers came in through working the ranks,
05:14going through wrestling school,
05:15but the ultimate warrior, he got in through bodybuilding.
05:18Working solely on his physique
05:20and then transitioning into action in the ring.
05:23Faceplash!
05:25Gives his all!
05:27He didn't fall into a normal role of everybody else
05:29trying to be serious,
05:30trying to be this great technical wrestler,
05:32this great worker.
05:33He knew that the fans have to care
05:35about who that character is.
05:36If they don't care, it doesn't matter
05:38if you're the greatest technical wrestler in the world.
05:40If there's no emotional connection between the fans
05:44and the guys in the ring,
05:45they're just not going to care.
05:49If the ultimate warrior could speak
05:51to the Celtic warrior,
05:53what items you think the ultimate warrior
05:55would want in his collection?
05:57I definitely think that
05:59the one thing that was great about him
06:01was his gear.
06:02I'm just wondering if there is still stuff out there
06:05that would be great to find.
06:06Here at the Archives,
06:07we have quite a bit of ultimate warrior stuff.
06:09Singlets, trunks, tassels,
06:12that sort of thing.
06:13But it's not everything
06:15and it's not some of the most iconic either.
06:17Let's talk about some of the gear the warrior wore.
06:20Like the gear that he wore at WrestleMania V.
06:22Those artifacts will be massive.
06:24Here comes the main event.
06:25Oh, they're on their feet!
06:27Look at him!
06:29He's flying down there!
06:31WrestleMania V, Warrior vs. Ravishing Rick Rude.
06:34What a moment.
06:35What a contest.
06:36With two of WWE's finest.
06:39The ultimate warrior was on a winning streak
06:41for a year and a half
06:42before he met Ravishing Rick Rude.
06:46Both of these guys are hurt.
06:47Gorilla.
06:48Oh!
06:51The ultimate warrior's confidence was over the top.
06:54Nobody's ever defeated Ravishing Rick Rude.
06:56Absolutely not!
06:58Imagine the psychological devastation.
07:02He's playing with his mind right now.
07:04I think it draws back to that insecure kid
07:07having to work so hard, you know,
07:10to find himself.
07:12And not only find himself,
07:13find himself all the way at the top
07:16of that wrestling world.
07:17Look at him!
07:18He throws away to the warrior!
07:20He's holding on!
07:23The warrior lost to Rick Rude.
07:25There was foul play involved.
07:27But I think it gave Warrior a mission.
07:30And it showed there was a little kink
07:31in the armor of Warrior.
07:33People can relate to people
07:34with kinks in the armor.
07:36That's the story people love to see.
07:40We need something to represent
07:41the beginning of the ultimate warrior's career
07:44and finding those trunks,
07:45I think that would be the ticket.
07:47History has been made here at WrestleMania V!
07:52And we cannot forget about the ultimate maniacs.
07:55We gotta find something
07:57from that legendary tag team.
07:59I think that the gear he wore at Lockdown
08:01is definitely historic.
08:03The ultimate warrior and the Macho Man,
08:05we are survivors, yeah!
08:08In fact,
08:10in fact, we've been surviving all of our lives, yeah!
08:15And Macho Man, Randy Savage,
08:17and the maniacs that walk with you,
08:20there will be a bond between them
08:23and my warriors that shall be forever!
08:29Ooh, yeah!
08:33The ultimate maniacs were a short-lived
08:35but incredibly exciting tag team in WWE.
08:38You put Ultimate Warrior together with Randy Savage,
08:41two of the very biggest stars of their era,
08:44but now they're combining forces.
08:47I have no idea where it would be,
08:49but it would be great.
08:50Again, it would be an amazing point
08:52if you could get something to stay out of the tournament.
08:55Give all you got till you drop
08:57and can't give no more.
09:01Sheamus, I just want to know if you would agree
09:05to actually go on a trip down memory lane
09:08and unearth some of the most iconic artifacts
09:11of the ultimate warrior.
09:13No thanks, Buck.
09:17Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
09:24Thanks, anyway.
09:27God's an honor, man.
09:29Let's just take one more airplane trip, all right?
09:31Appreciate you, bro. I appreciate you.
09:33Bring home the goods.
09:46What's up, fella?
09:47How are you?
09:48Good, how are you?
09:49I'm great.
09:50I picked the most beautiful day of the year.
09:52I was just going to say I brought the weather
09:54back from Ireland with me, you know?
09:58I am excited that you agreed to this mission.
10:01We need the luck of the Irish on this one today.
10:03I'm excited about it. I am.
10:05For me, this is a special one
10:07because a lot of great memories of my childhood.
10:09Yeah, I knew that you had a connection to Warrior
10:11and that you were a fan, like, growing up.
10:13It was amazing.
10:15Hopefully, we can get us some loot today.
10:17Yeah.
10:18This guy is no stranger to superstars
10:22just dropping in on his house
10:24because he has a pretty infamous collection.
10:26Okay.
10:27He's got stuff not only from Ultimate Warrior.
10:30He has all kinds of stuff.
10:32We got a leave with gear
10:34from WrestleMania V.
10:36Warrior versus Rick Rude.
10:38Do you know what Rick Rude and Bobby Heenan
10:42have in common with the Liberty Bell?
10:45What? No.
10:47One is cracked and the other is a ding-dong.
10:54It was really good to watch those two
10:56because Rick Rude was the ultimate heel.
10:59You fat, out-of-shape, Pennsylvania piss-ant.
11:08Oh, listen to the booze.
11:09They don't like you.
11:10Rick Rude was a WWE superstar
11:12the same time Warrior was.
11:14He's kind of like the evil counterpart
11:16to the Ultimate Warrior with a killer mustache.
11:19What are we gonna see next time?
11:21Happens to be my specialty,
11:23the pose that sets me apart
11:25from every other man on the face of the earth,
11:27and it's called best abs.
11:30Both took amazing pride
11:33in how much they worked on their bodies,
11:35so it only made sense to incorporate that
11:37into their feud in the form of a pose-off.
11:41Listen to that.
11:42Like a straight-up bodybuilding pose-off
11:45where they would stand in the ring
11:47and show off their muscles.
11:49Here's a peek on those biceps.
11:55All right, come on, let's go.
11:56All right, I'm coming, I'm coming.
11:57I got me Chuck Norris jeans on.
12:00I'm gonna need a bro-kick on my cardio.
12:02Bro-kick!
12:04Oh!
12:07Warm it up.
12:08We might need to pull it out today, okay?
12:14Hi.
12:15Hello.
12:16Hey, how's it going?
12:17I brought Seamus with me.
12:18Wow!
12:21This is, to me, it's history.
12:23This is a piece of the work.
12:25Yeah.
12:26Is there any amount of money we could throw at you?
12:28That means more than money to me.
12:31Right.
12:33We are hoping to find an item
12:37from the Ultimate Warriors' final matches in WWE.
12:42Jimmy, you are our surprise weapon.
12:45Why don't you stop in the middle of the drive
12:46where I'm in the snow?
12:47No, please, please.
12:48You better make a run for it, Jimmy.
12:49Let's get to the door.
12:50My hair is getting wet.
12:51Come on, come on, baby.
13:01Hi.
13:02Hello.
13:03Hey, how's it going?
13:04I brought Seamus with me.
13:05Wow!
13:06Can we come in?
13:07Come in the ring.
13:09So you guys are here to see some wrestling stuff, I take it?
13:12Your collection precedes you.
13:14You are pretty legendary.
13:16I'm looking at that ring right there already.
13:19It's not up for trade,
13:20so go ahead and get your ideas out of your head right now.
13:23But yeah, can we take a look around?
13:25Absolutely.
13:26Come right in.
13:27I got most of the stuff in the basement.
13:28You might have to duck a little bit, Seamus.
13:30That's all right.
13:31We'll get you in there.
13:36Wow.
13:39It's amazing.
13:41Wow, look at this.
13:42This is just part of the collection.
13:45We have Macho Man, Mouth of the South, Jimmy Hart, Eddie Guerrero.
13:51So this here is actually the jacket from Andre's.
13:54That's Andre's?
13:55Yep, yep.
13:56That's his actual jacket that he wore.
13:57We've gone through this, Andre, time and time again.
14:00It did not happen.
14:01Next time, put your glasses on.
14:04Andre the Giant was a huge WWE superstar,
14:07both in size and popularity.
14:09Facing a man who has never been beat in 15 years.
14:13But Ultimate Warrior was beating people left and right from shop.
14:19I mean, he was skyrocketed to success,
14:21and a lot of superstars were not into that
14:23and saw Ultimate Warrior as a threat.
14:26Not Andre the Giant.
14:27I will beat you!
14:29I will beat you!
14:31One, two, three!
14:35It's Andre.
14:36He really doesn't have anything to worry about.
14:38Allowing the Ultimate Warrior to beat him in a record time.
14:43And this plan is over!
14:45Spoke to the respect that Andre the Giant had for the Ultimate Warrior.
14:49I feel like we could tour this basement all day,
14:54but we did come for something specific.
14:56I know that you're an Ultimate Warrior fan.
14:58We're looking for that gear from his Ultimate Warrior
15:01versus Rick Rude, WrestleMania 5.
15:03Keep the noise down,
15:05while I take my robe off
15:07and give the ladies a good look
15:10at the sexiest man alive.
15:13Rude's a great heel.
15:14Great heel.
15:15Incredible shape.
15:16Incredible athlete.
15:19But Rude would always antagonize people any way he could.
15:21So he'd always be mocking Warrior
15:23and thinking that Warrior's face
15:24was spray painted on the back of his eyes.
15:26You know, the Warrior's slowed down a lot, Gorilla.
15:29That's right, they did.
15:30I mean, how often do you see him go down from a single clothesline?
15:34Prior to the Ultimate Warrior's match with Rick Rude,
15:36we'd never seen him be beat.
15:38Bobby better watch out now, because Rude's in trouble.
15:43He was just like the ultimate invincible superhero.
15:46Look at Heenan!
15:47There's the leg of the Warrior!
15:49He's holding on!
15:51He did it!
15:52He did it!
15:53Ladies and gentlemen, pull him out of his pocket.
15:56And boom!
15:58Incredible kickoff
16:00from the quick Rick Rude!
16:04His first pinfall in WWE.
16:07Yeah, that's what I was going to say.
16:08It was notable because Warrior didn't lose much.
16:11No.
16:12And while it was with interference
16:14from Bobby the Brain,
16:15Bobby the Brain Heenan.
16:16The Brain did not see Heenan's actions
16:19from the outside.
16:21Oh!
16:22Bobby Heenan was a great manager and he was hated.
16:24And he brought a lot of heat to these guys
16:26and Rick Rude as well.
16:27How can Rude enjoy his new title?
16:29Look what's happening!
16:31He deserves it, doesn't he?
16:34Whoa!
16:35Warrior achieved so much so quickly.
16:37And, you know, he's kind of unbeatable.
16:39But then he got beaten and he got screwed
16:41with Heenan holding his foot.
16:43So that was the huge thing.
16:44He went in as champion and he got beaten.
16:47So it was kind of a bittersweet moment
16:49for a lot of people watching.
16:51Until then, he was the ultimate superhero
16:53showing no vulnerability.
16:55But it actually made him more of a star
16:58because it showed that he had a human side.
17:01It really catapulted him to the next level
17:03of superstardom, rivaling the likes of Hulk Hogan.
17:06History has been made here at WrestleMania V!
17:10Here's what I think you're looking for.
17:12The iconic yellow trunks.
17:16Wow!
17:17From WrestleMania V.
17:18Autographed.
17:19That's incredible.
17:20And they are signed.
17:21That's amazing.
17:26How did you get these?
17:27Originally, Ultimate Warrior was selling stuff
17:29back in his day.
17:30And the person I got him from
17:32bought him from Warrior directly.
17:34He was marketing his stuff,
17:35which was really smart.
17:36It was before his time
17:38because now most people do.
17:40So they came from Warrior to a collector to me.
17:44Would you be open to a negotiation with these?
17:47Is there any amount of money we could throw at you?
17:50What do you think?
17:54This is, to me, it's history.
17:57And it's also like a time capsule.
17:59Yeah.
18:00Because this is a piece of the Word.
18:02Yeah.
18:05That means more than money to me.
18:07Right.
18:18And they would.
18:31This is, to me, it's history.
18:33And it's also like a time capsule.
18:35Yeah.
18:36Because this is a piece of the Word.
18:39WrestleMania V.
18:41This was the peak of the Ultimate Warrior's career.
18:44Something that represents that match.
18:47Be huge.
18:49Why is he pumped up for what?
18:54Is there other things like experiences that we can give you
18:57or bring to you or...
18:58You have a few resources there, Han.
19:00Do you know what I mean?
19:01I guess a match with Sheamus is out of the question.
19:04Let's do it, man.
19:06I'll be the referee.
19:07I got loads of boots there.
19:09I saw your neighbors have a trampoline out there.
19:11Yeah, yeah.
19:12You'd probably hurt me.
19:13That might be the end of your collecting career.
19:15Yeah, it may be.
19:16And I don't know that we want to do that to you.
19:19I certainly understand the mission
19:21and I have a lot of respect for the mission.
19:23So, in no way am I trying to be disrespectful about this.
19:27But it's just the money doesn't really appeal to me.
19:31I'd be open to a trade of some sort.
19:33I mean, I know the WWE has a vast archive of material also.
19:37So, there are certain wrestlers that I'm looking for to trade.
19:41I'm a huge Undertaker fan.
19:43Right.
19:44I've always wanted an urn from The Undertaker that was carried into the ring.
19:50I know there's multiples just like there are multiple trunks.
19:53Right.
19:54But one that could be documented to a specific event.
19:57Undertaker gear is not just out there in the world.
20:00It's really sought after and really hard to get a hold of.
20:03You pretty much have to have a direct in to have anything from The Undertaker.
20:08But I've been spending a lot of time in this warehouse
20:12with all of this amazing memorabilia.
20:15And I know that we have a couple urns.
20:17And I really do think it's important to have these trunks from WrestleMania V.
20:22I haven't run down the proper channels.
20:25But I am going to make an executive decision today
20:28that if we walk out with this gear,
20:32you will have an Undertaker urn that he has carried to the ring.
20:38Well, it makes me a little bit sad.
20:41But Undertaker stuff is incredibly important to me also.
20:48As you can see over there, I got a hat.
20:50Yes.
20:51And I think, I would say we have a deal.
20:54It's awesome.
20:55We have a deal.
20:57The Ultimate Warrior is not here anymore to preserve his own legacy.
21:00It's on us.
21:01And so it was really important to me that we got this gear and we brought it back home.
21:05I wish everyone was going to get to see it.
21:06Like, this is going to get the proper respect in this area.
21:09It's going to bring back so many memories.
21:15So glad that we were able to make a deal today.
21:17Thank you very much.
21:29What is going on?
21:30What are we doing over here?
21:31It's madness.
21:32It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, you know?
21:34Christmas here every day.
21:35It's this type of temperature.
21:38So, here's the mission.
21:40Okay.
21:41Ultimate Maniacs.
21:42Ultimate Maniacs.
21:47The Ultimate Maniacs were a tag team comprised of the Ultimate Warrior and the Macho Man, Randy Savage.
21:53Through your eyes, yeah.
21:57I also see you become the Ultimate Champion.
22:03Now, you're Savage and Warrior.
22:05Two huge babyfaces on the same level.
22:07I make this promise to you and all these Warriors and Macho Maniacs do the same.
22:16When I heard Vince McMahon wanted to turn the Ultimate Warrior heel
22:19and the Ultimate Warrior just wasn't having any of that.
22:26I think Warrior felt like turning heel would have been a betrayal to the standards of being a hero to all those fans.
22:34I think in a sense, Warrior aspired to be the role model that he needed in his own life.
22:41So, I think they said, let's go with a little something different.
22:44The Ultimate Maniacs.
22:46How about that?
22:47We can make it work.
22:49A bond that shall be forever.
22:56They have a place in history, right?
22:58Yeah.
22:59For me as well as a kid, seeing these two guys together, these two giants of the business together, it really was an awesome moment.
23:06The friendship and trust that has now created the bond of all the Ultimate Maniacs is inseparable.
23:15You didn't have to choose if you're a Macho Man guy or an Ultimate Warrior guy.
23:19You could now be both and also have your mind blown by their legendary promos.
23:25The Ultimate Maniacs.
23:27Dig it.
23:28Yeah.
23:30It just goes to show, you don't have to have 100 matches or 50 matches to be remembered.
23:34That one match, that one name.
23:36But here we are, we're still talking about it.
23:37Exactly.
23:38People still remember the posters.
23:39They still remember the promo.
23:41The name.
23:42They still remember the name.
23:43Unfortunately, this tag team was so short-lived, they only had one televised match.
23:47Which, you know, the match starting off super competitive, back and forth.
23:51Yeah.
23:52But then once it breaks into a four-way, full melee.
23:56They beat the **** out of Money Inc.
24:01It was cool to see.
24:02Especially their gear was just off the charts.
24:04And that's obviously why we're coming to this house, right?
24:07So this guy, Vic, knew Ultimate Warrior.
24:10I am not sure of our chances.
24:12We're going to need to bring out all the stops to leave with the scare.
24:16Let's just see what happens.
24:17Who knows?
24:21I'm putting the trunks in a specific in-ring moment.
24:25It's a gift from me to you.
24:27I see you as the biggest con artist there ever was.
24:30Where Jerry Lawler attempted to ease his way out of a confrontation by having painted a majestic portrait.
24:41Ultimate Maniacs
24:43Alright, let's go.
24:44Ultimate Maniacs singlet.
24:45Here we go.
24:46Let's do it.
24:50Oh my god.
24:51Hi, are you Vic?
24:52I am Lita.
24:53I am Lita.
24:54And I brought Seamus with me.
24:55How are you doing there, Vic?
24:56Doing well.
24:57Very nice to meet you.
24:58I like the shorts already.
24:59I am Victor Boudreau.
25:00And my favorite wrestler of all time would be the Ultimate Warrior.
25:03The long hair, the face paint.
25:05I identified with that being a drummer in a rock and roll band.
25:08We got a tip that you have some pretty cool memorabilia.
25:12So we thought we'd come by and take a look.
25:14Come on in.
25:15Thank you very much.
25:16Appreciate it.
25:19Wow.
25:20This is incredible.
25:26How did you end up meeting the Ultimate Warrior?
25:29I looked at pro wrestling magazines.
25:31I saw he was doing his Warrior's World at a fantasy wrestling camp.
25:37Yes, you have the same exact chance of achieving your dreams as I did.
25:41With my direction, the World Wrestling Federation seal of approval,
25:44and the curriculum at Warrior University,
25:46I believe you can turn your fantasies into an ultimate reality.
25:51And I saw an opportunity with Fantasy Camp to meet him,
25:54get a chance to experience what it's like to be in a wrestling ring.
25:57So that's how I met him.
25:59I've obviously been a huge fan of his as a kid growing up as well.
26:02But I met him at WrestleMania 30.
26:04I didn't know what to expect from him,
26:06because I wasn't sure if he was going to be upset with the fact
26:08that I was using the name Warrior, or if he was going to be cool with it.
26:11And he was really cool.
26:12I saw him in the corridor, and I was just running around,
26:14trying to get ready, and he was like,
26:16Celtic Warrior!
26:18I was like, oh man, this is awesome.
26:20Honored to meet you.
26:21Big Admirer of your whole look, your presence, man.
26:24Thank you very much.
26:25You look awesome.
26:26I kind of wish I'd been in gear.
26:28But yeah, it was a really cool moment, and he was really cool.
26:30And I'm just glad I got to meet him.
26:32When I saw you on the scene, I said,
26:33I bet Vince loves that guy's look, man,
26:35because you're just so unique and different.
26:37Thank you very much.
26:38I appreciate it.
26:39I mean, it was pretty cool having the Mattel action figure thing.
26:42You won once more than me.
26:43Yeah, yeah.
26:44I saw that, man.
26:45It's really cool.
26:46Oh, they do some great stuff with that.
26:47Well, I'm glad you stopped to say hello, man.
26:49Absolutely.
26:50I have to say goodbye and say hello.
26:51Honor.
26:52Thank you, sir.
26:53Thank you, man.
26:54What type of training regime did he put you through?
26:56It was a rough day.
26:57I got in a ring, bounced off the ropes, and they hurt.
26:59No kidding, right?
27:01Yeah.
27:02He body slammed me twice.
27:03First time, we popped it, no problem.
27:05I said, let's do this again.
27:07Second time, knocked the air out of me, whipped my head.
27:10He was very nice.
27:11He goes, are you okay?
27:12I didn't want to see him like a wimp.
27:13Here's my hero.
27:14Yeah, I'm fine.
27:16So.
27:17So how did friendship started between you and Warrior?
27:19I think it was because I'd contacted him with old school letters,
27:22which I still have handwritten letters from him to me.
27:24Oh, wow.
27:25Yeah, I have saved everything.
27:27Wow, so he had his own letterhead here.
27:29Oh, yeah.
27:30Warrior University, all this stuff.
27:32Oh, here we go.
27:33Fine.
27:34All right, some of it's to do with stuff I obviously purchased.
27:37So just before he came back to WWE,
27:39it was in between his first WWE run and his second one, right?
27:43It was before WrestleMania 12.
27:45When you're talking about the Ultimate Warrior,
27:47obviously there have been some turbulent times with him and the company.
27:51The Warrior left WWE the first time over a financial dispute.
27:57He felt like he should be making as much money as Hulk Hogan.
28:00The powers that be disagreed, and his tenure with the company was over.
28:05But he eventually came back.
28:07We all eventually come back.
28:10But to a macho maniac is a combination of the Ultimate Warrior.
28:15The comeback, it couldn't have gotten any bigger than the Ultimate Maniacs.
28:20And to find something that represents the Ultimate Maniacs era,
28:25would be huge.
28:32One of the things that people freak out on.
28:34Whoa.
28:35The Ultimate Maniacs singlet.
28:37That's amazing, man.
28:39That's awesome.
28:40Wow.
28:42I was going to, you know, we kind of do a thing.
28:44We want to make sure that it's authentic.
28:47Yeah, there are fakes out there.
28:50See, you can see actually, this is from that promo.
28:53Yeah.
28:54Explosiveness that can never, ever be recreated.
28:59The Ultimate Maniacs are totally out of control.
29:03So right here is like.
29:04You can just see the demon.
29:05Yeah, I do.
29:09I mean, that's like a small detail that shows, obviously, you got this from him.
29:15I just wish they would have been able to do more.
29:16Yeah, everybody does.
29:17Because who knows how far they could have gone as a tag team.
29:19Oh, yeah.
29:21At least it wasn't the tag team that never was.
29:23That's true.
29:24You know?
29:25So, I mean, I would love nothing more than to just give a shred of the connection that you have with Warrior.
29:31And that fans have around the world.
29:33An opportunity to be able to touch the Warrior and connect with the Warrior is through his gear.
29:40I understand that.
29:41I know this piece is really special to you.
29:43Can I throw out a number to you?
29:47Got to be honest with you.
29:48It just means too much to me.
29:51To let it go permanently?
29:52No, I can't do that.
30:00I know this piece is really special to you.
30:03The Ultimate Maniacs is just such a fun thing.
30:06Ultimate Warrior and the Macho Man.
30:08Two prolific talent, you know, becoming a team.
30:11It's so short-lived.
30:12One match.
30:13So, having an item from that era is a big deal.
30:22I'm prepared to offer you $6,000 for you to pass it over to us.
30:30I appreciate that.
30:32I can't do that.
30:35Getting it straight from Warrior.
30:36Everything he meant to me and how it's made my life what it is today.
30:41To let it go permanently?
30:43No, I can't do that.
30:46Do you want the top number?
30:48We could go up to $10,000.
30:50Does that do anything to move the needle at all?
30:53Got to be honest with you.
30:55It just means too much to me.
30:56It sounds like we'd offer you $100,000 and you'd still say no.
30:58Yeah, no.
30:59Obviously, talking to you, you're so passionate about everything you have.
31:02You can see how much the Warrior means to you.
31:06I can't let it go.
31:08But if I can share or loan it,
31:10I don't mind sharing.
31:12Thank you, brother.
31:14It's going to be huge.
31:15There are two superstars who are no longer with us.
31:17They created a massive legacy in this business.
31:19We'll always be remembered.
31:21And to have a piece of that history on display,
31:23I know everybody who sees it is going to appreciate it
31:25and appreciate the fact that Vic has loaned it to us.
31:41Vic, baby!
31:43Man, good to see you.
31:44Great to see you.
31:45Thanks for dressing up for this shoot.
31:47That's my favorite shirt, by the way. Thank you.
31:49My name is Jimmy Hart, Mouth of the South.
31:51I have managed over 23 different superstars and legends in the WWE,
31:56mostly tag teams.
31:57Things are going to get real nasty in the Battle Royale, right, boy?
32:00That's right, Jimmy.
32:02What are we looking for particularly?
32:03We are hoping to find some items from the Ultimate Warrior's final era in WWE.
32:14The Warrior came back in, I think, from March through June of 1996.
32:19He tended to do that, right?
32:20He tended to come in, make a big splash.
32:22Right.
32:23And then leave, so there's very little that he wore.
32:27Ultimate Warrior was one of the most controversial superstars in WWE history.
32:33He would leave WWE, sometimes of his own volition, sometimes of the company's,
32:38and sometimes it would be years before he would resurface.
32:42It's the Ultimate Warrior!
32:45I like Warrior. Warrior was cool, you know?
32:48I used to have bruises on my legs that he was so tight and so tense,
32:51he didn't mean to hurt you or nothing,
32:52but when he'd pick me up over his head for a slam to show you strength,
32:56the next week I'd have three or four bruises on my leg.
32:59I think that's what made him. The people knew he was very tense.
33:01Ultimate Warrior now!
33:03Oh my goodness!
33:06We are here to visit with one of the best collectors I've ever seen.
33:11Tim Jameson is his name.
33:13Now, this should be great.
33:14I tell you, this guy, if he's got all this stuff and it's in good condition,
33:17this is worth some money.
33:18Oh, big money.
33:19I love Tim, but oh man, Jimmy, the guy dreads just seeing me.
33:23I think he's on record as saying,
33:25every time I see Mick Foley, I lose something that I love.
33:28You've got the right man with you, baby.
33:30We'll talk him out of it. I promise you that.
33:34Jimmy, just file in behind me.
33:37Okay, baby.
33:38Because you are our surprise weapon.
33:41Well, let me ask you this.
33:42Why did you stop in the middle of the drive where I'm in the snow
33:44trying to get in over here?
33:46No, no, no, no, no, no, please, please.
33:48You better make a run for it, Jimmy.
33:49Let's get to the door. My hair is getting wet.
33:50Come on, come on, baby.
33:51I'm with you, man.
33:52We're going to make this deal.
33:53We're going to make this deal.
33:55Uh, Mick?
33:58Surprise guest.
33:59Hello, sir. How are you?
34:00Man, it's great, man.
34:01Yeah.
34:02Come on in.
34:03Come on in.
34:04All right.
34:05Come on.
34:06All right.
34:07I enjoy having Mick here.
34:08I love Mick's company.
34:10But almost every time Mick is here,
34:13he's here to twist my arm just enough
34:16to get me to scream and shout.
34:18I love Mick.
34:19I love Mick.
34:20I love Mick.
34:21I enjoy having Mick here
34:22to twist my arm just enough
34:23to get me to scream, Uncle.
34:27But even more surprised to see Jimmy Hart.
34:29This guy is crazy.
34:32Man, I love all these posters.
34:33Oh my gosh.
34:34Oh ho ho.
34:40Rhythm & Blues.
34:41Oh my gosh, you're kidding me.
34:45This is awesome.
34:46Oh, look at my original ties.
34:47Here we are.
34:48Look at that.
34:49This is great.
34:50Thank you for bringing me down here, man.
34:51Of course, you are the man.
34:52This is great.
34:53I think I see.
34:54Turn around.
34:55Oh, yeah.
34:56There we go.
34:57I am identifying that as vintage 1996.
35:01That's exactly what I'm looking for.
35:03Yeah.
35:04So, uh, these are Ultimate Warriors.
35:06One question would be, where have you been for a three long year?
35:13You know, he came back in 1996, was like, Warriors coming back, you know, and it was
35:19very highly publicized.
35:20In the three and a half years that I have been absent, there is one thing that would
35:21not die.
35:22The voices.
35:23So, having an item from Ultimate Warriors, really final era in WWE, would be huge.
35:39I'm putting the trunks in a specific in-ring moment, where Jerry Lawler attempted to ease
35:48his way out of a confrontation by having painted a majestic portrait.
35:52No charge, not a penny.
35:53It's a gift from me to you.
35:54You know, Lawler's a great artist.
35:55You made me an artist.
35:56But how I see it, I see you as the biggest con artist there ever was.
36:07Anyway, Jimmy and I can hold them, take a closer look.
36:12Yeah, you can take them out.
36:13Great, great.
36:14We're going to put them right back, though.
36:15Don't worry.
36:16Here you go, the trunks.
36:20They were actually autographed by the warrior when he was with us.
36:25We don't have much from that era.
36:28We don't have anything.
36:30We got to have something representing one of the last times he was inside the WWE ring
36:36is so, so important.
36:40Tim, this is part of wrestling history.
36:43If I threw a dollar figure out at you...
36:46I mean, you can try.
36:48$5,000 could do a lot of talking.
36:51Oh, come on now.
36:54Oh, please.
37:01They were autographed by the warrior.
37:03We don't have much from that era.
37:06We don't have anything representing his last matches in WWE.
37:11Tim, this is part of wrestling history.
37:14If I threw a dollar figure out at you...
37:17I mean, you can try.
37:19$5,000 could do a lot of talking.
37:22Oh, come on now.
37:24Oh, please.
37:27What if we worked out a deal where you would loan these items to us, therefore giving you
37:33a chance to miss them just long enough for them to mean even more when they come back?
37:39For them to mean even more when we return them unscathed after being viewed by tens of thousands?
37:49I absolutely would have no issue doing that.
37:52I have no problem loaning them.
37:55Wow.
37:56Come on, 5.
37:57Thank you.
37:58What do you think?
37:59Let's put the 5s up there, brother.
38:00I was so happy.
38:01It was great.
38:02I could have kissed Mick, but he's got a rough beard, so forget it.
38:04But I was just extremely happy this worked out.
38:07I think all the fans around the world are going to have a great opportunity to see this.
38:17Thank you, Tim.
38:18We did it.
38:27Wow.
38:28It was a big find.
38:29I always talk about the first time I got a chance to see the Ultimate Warrior up close and personal.
38:36It was at the Summit in Houston, Texas.
38:40Here he comes, full speed ahead.
38:42The barbarian that snuck me and my brother in.
38:45We got a chance to go in the locker room and see the boy's Ultimate Warrior.
38:48He had his own locker room, and he had all of his Warrior relics hanging up in the locker room.
38:53And I was like, oh my God, I'm in the Warrior's locker room.
38:56When you say the Ultimate Warrior, no matter what you are, you're going to know exactly who it is.
39:02What else we got?
39:03Booker and Mick knew I had my work cut out for me, so I was pretty stoked to reveal my success.
39:10Ultimate Maniac's super short-lived.
39:17So he's got his Maniac singlet.
39:19You've got his iconic logo on here.
39:22And the red and the yellow had kind of been handed down by Hogan, hadn't it?
39:26Yeah.
39:27Right, because Hogan gave the nod to Warrior, too.
39:31Definitely a signature Ultimate Warrior right here.
39:33Awesome, awesome.
39:34You saw stuff like this.
39:36You saw the detail.
39:37You saw how much the Warrior really delved deep into his character and how to become the Ultimate Warrior.
39:46Showing up at the locker room at night, and the atmosphere is comforting and supportive
39:51with the guys that you're working with traveling up and down the road for all these days in a row.
39:56I missed that.
39:59I had the fortune of meeting the Ultimate Warrior.
40:03He was in my 2014 Hall of Fame class.
40:06And it had been so long since he had been part of the WWE.
40:11Oh, I'm going to have fun with this.
40:13There you go.
40:14Yeah.
40:15He was so thankful to be welcomed back.
40:20It was really nice to share in that moment.
40:23Two days later, he gave a fantastic promo on Raw.
40:27Every man's heart one day beats its final beat.
40:31And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others,
40:37then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized.
40:44And one day later, he was gone.
40:52The Ultimate Warrior is one of a kind, and I'm proud of that.
40:56He gave me a great life.
40:57To become a great leader like the Ultimate Warrior, you must have many friends.
41:04I don't think there was anyone quite like the Ultimate Warrior.
41:10If we never had the Ultimate Warrior, we would have never had that explosive run down the aisle to the ring.
41:15It's the Ultimate Warrior!
41:20I don't think we would have ever had the Ultimate Warrior rope shake.
41:26And we would have never had the Ultimate Maniacs.
41:30This freakin' nature right here is just beginning to swell.
41:33He made an imprint on a lot of people's lives.
41:37A lot of kids' lives.
41:39People watched WWE because he was on it.
41:43You could take a thousand guys and put them in that same role, and it wouldn't work.
41:50And I think that's the legacy the Warrior's gonna leave more so than any.
41:55The Ultimate Victor!
41:59I don't think there will ever be another Ultimate Warrior.
42:03The spirit of Ultimate Warrior will run forever!
