00:00Welcome to Mojo Plays and today we're looking
00:10at the Assassin's Creed characters we couldn't wait to eliminate.
00:20Before we begin, we publish new content all week long, so be sure to subscribe and ring
00:25the bell to get notified about our latest videos.
00:29Charles Lee Assassin's Creed 3
00:40The entire game is spent learning to hate Charles Lee.
00:43Haytham Kenway's death was arguably more unsatisfying than not thanks to it being a
00:48quick time event, so it was up to Charles Lee to give us some catharsis.
00:52And unlike Haytham, Lee wasn't nuanced or humanized.
00:55He was a villain through and through.
00:58The one primarily responsible for destroying Connor's village near the beginning of the
01:02game.
01:03Plus, finally getting to kill him after that long, tedious chase sequence, in which one
01:12wrong move will probably put you so far behind Lee that you desynchronize, is a huge relief.
01:18When Connor finally catches up with him in Philadelphia, their showdown passes in silence
01:22and Lee knows it's all over.
01:33Fazil Assassin's Creed Mirage
01:43The Order has infiltrated every layer of Baghdad society, including its famous House of Wisdom,
01:49one of the most esteemed libraries in history.
01:51Through investigations, Basim learns that Fazil, the First Scholar, is an Order member,
01:56known as the Demon.
01:57He's conducting human experimentation to build a device he calls his Great Work, which
02:02is essentially an animus over a thousand years before Abstergo developed the first one.
02:12If you go for the unique kill route, a fun throwback to the days of Unity and Syndicate,
02:16Basim disguises himself as another test subject and kills Fazil mid-ritual.
02:21He was certainly one of Mirage's most reprehensible villains.
02:32Fulk Assassin's Creed Valhalla
02:44Initially introduced as an ally, it's quickly revealed that Ivor's instincts were right,
02:48and Fulk is not to be trusted.
02:51Not only is she one of the most key members of the Order, but she also kidnaps and tortures
02:55Sigurd.
02:56She even cuts off his hand to unlock his memories of Tyr, who mythology tells us had his hand
03:00bitten off by Loki's wolf and son, Fenrir.
03:08She's one of the series' most disturbing characters, and Ivor finally tracks down and confronts
03:13her in a dungeon.
03:14It's a tricky fight, largely because it's so dark you often can't even see what's happening,
03:18which makes it an even bigger relief when it's finally over.
03:29Charles Gabriel Sivert Assassin's Creed Unity
03:37As a character, Sivert is largely forgettable.
03:40He's Arno's first assassination target after his training is complete, and he's tasked
03:44with infiltrating Notre Dame de Paris to take him out.
03:48But what makes this so memorable is the unique kill option Arno is given if he manages to
03:52hide inside the Cathedral's confessional.
03:54If he does this, Sivert will eventually arrive to talk to the priest he believes is inside,
03:58and you can assassinate him through the screen.
04:06It's brutal, but easily one of the most iconic kills in the entire franchise, and it definitely
04:11isn't topped by the other targets in Unity.
04:14The franchise has often put its best foot forward by having this be Arno's first job,
04:17for better or for worse.
04:22John Elliotson Assassin's Creed Syndicate
04:34Building on the more sandbox-y assassination missions from Unity, Syndicate made the levels
04:39much more intricate, giving you numerous different ways to approach the target, and of course
04:44it gave us even more memorable, unique kill opportunities, manipulating all kinds of people
04:48in each stage.
04:49This mission is another early one in which Jacob infiltrates Lambeth Asylum, having determined
04:54that Dr. Elliotson is the source of much of the borough's sufferings, and its addictive
04:59syrup epidemic.
05:05Jacob sneaks in and offers himself as another test subject for public autopsy, only to assassinate
05:11the mad doctor mid-lecture.
05:16After seeing the horrors he committed in the name of medicine, it's the least he deserves.
05:29Lucius Septimus Assassin's Creed Origins
05:41This was the first game in which we encounter the Order of the Ancients, as opposed to the
05:44Templars, who eventually descend from them during the Crusades.
05:48Eventually Bayek and Aya learn that the powerful Romans are behind the group, which is trying
05:52and failing to gain access to an Isu vault in Siwa.
06:04Though Flavius is the leader, the fight against him isn't anywhere near as fun or satisfying
06:08as the numerous boss battles both Bayek and Aya fight against Septimus.
06:13It's eventually Aya who finally kills him, the final boss of the game, and it sure did
06:17feel good to finally avenge Camus' death.
06:26Robert Disable Assassin's Creed
06:34You encounter Disable at the very beginning of the first game, as the Templar Grandmaster
06:38leading the excavation of Solomon's Temple, and temporarily seizing the Ark of the Covenant.
06:43Altair diligently hunts down his targets in order to get another attempt on Disable, the
06:48head of the snake.
06:49He finally fights Disable and a group of powerful Templars near the end, with King Richard I
06:54unsure whether to believe that Disable is plotting against him.
07:06It's easily the hardest fight in the game because of the legions of Templars thrown at
07:10you, even harder than the boss battle against Al Mualim.
07:13Through Disable's death, Altair's honor was finally restored.
07:27Vieri De Pasi Assassin's Creed 2
07:35He's hardly the most evil character in Assassin's Creed 2, but he is the one we looked forward
07:40to assassinating the most.
07:41During the tutorial, Ezio learns how to fist fight when he gets into a street brawl with
07:45Vieri and his friends.
07:47This teenage rivalry grows when Vieri's father, Francesco, orchestrates the Pasi Conspiracy,
07:52which attempted to kill and displace the Medici's from Florence, but also caught the Auditores
07:56in its wide net.
08:03Even though it wasn't his idea, it was deeply satisfying when Ezio tracked him all the way
08:07to San Gimignano in Tuscany and took him down.
08:20Bartholomew Roberts Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag
08:34In his life as a pirate, Edward is used to dealing with liars and thieves, so it wasn't
08:39surprising to see him ally himself with Bartholomew Roberts when the opportunity for riches beyond
08:44measure presented itself.
08:46After all, he's already friends with Anne Bonny and Blackbeard, so what's one more
08:49notorious pirate?
08:58But Roberts is a sage working to his own ends, and those ends don't include Edward.
09:03He betrays him, and Edward spends the rest of the game relentlessly hunting down Roberts
09:07and the royal fortune, finally succeeding in brutally killing him with a rope dart.
09:11He was the first sage we ever met, and the most despicable.
09:24Cesare Borgia Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
09:38We spent all of Assassin's Creed 2 waiting for the moment to finally kill Rodrigo Borgia,
09:43only for Ezio to leave him alive, which he had to do because Rodrigo wasn't fated to
09:48die that early, and audiences never got the catharsis of assassinating him because he
09:52was murdered by his son, Cesare, via an apple during Brotherhood.
10:04Cesare was always a better villain than Rodrigo, though, and was truly reprehensible, almost
10:09destroying Monte Reggioni and killing Uncle Mario during the game's intro.
10:13After destroying the Borgia's influence in Italy, Ezio pursues Cesare to Spain and
10:18takes down one of the most memorable villains in the franchise.
10:30Let us know in the comments which Assassin's Creed villain you hate the most.
