00:00Hello, good evening. Well, we've seen a mix in our weather today. Plenty of dry, fine
00:05and settled conditions around. Feeling quite warm in the south and south-east. But we've
00:09also seen some outbreaks of rain which are now moving their way into north-western parts
00:13of the country. So taking a look at the latest satellite and radar picture, we can see that
00:17rain sweeping across Northern Ireland and parts of Scotland. And some quite bright returns
00:22on the latest radar too, which means there's some heavier outbreaks now moving into the
00:26west. Now, as the evening progresses, we'll continue to see that band of rain just move
00:31into northern parts of England and later on into northern parts of Wales. And it still
00:35could be a little bit heavy across the hills. Behind this, we've got some blustery showers
00:40moving into the north-west of Scotland and western coasts of Northern Ireland may also
00:45pick up the odd shower or two. But across the south and south-east, staying largely
00:50dry, plenty of clear skies too, which means things are going to be feeling chilly once
00:55again. Perhaps the odd spot of grass frost down in the south in rural areas, but elsewhere
01:00a slightly milder night to come. Now, heading into the second part of the weekend, it'll
01:06be quite a cold start across the south, but gradually warming up through the day and still
01:10plenty of fine and dry weather across the south and south-east. Perhaps just a bit more
01:14cloud later on in the day. This band of cloud, rain and drizzle still once again a little
01:19bit heavy over the hills. It's fairly slow moving. So across parts of northern Wales,
01:23northern England, quite a cloudy and damp day on offer. Elsewhere, there will be some
01:28sunny spells, but also plenty of showers moving across Scotland. And these could be heavy
01:33with some hail and thunder mixed in there. But across the south and south-east, that's
01:37once again where we're going to see the best of those temperatures, highs of around 20
01:41or 21 Celsius. Now, through into tomorrow evening, that rain and drizzle will eventually
01:48ease, but there'll still be plenty of cloud across the south. And that means under those
01:51cloudier skies, things will be feeling much milder than of late. But across Northern Ireland,
01:56parts of the Midlands, northern England and Scotland as well, we've got much lighter winds,
02:01plenty of clear skies. So that's where we're going to feel the chill tomorrow night, whereas
02:06once again in the south, a bit of a swap really. We're getting those milder conditions in the
02:09south and those colder, chillier conditions in the north. Now, to start the new working
02:16week, we have got high pressure building across the country. We say goodbye to that band of
02:21cloud and rain moving its way across the south of the country. High pressure building,
02:25and that means plenty of dry and settled weather to come. Those temperatures are on the up
02:29as well. So where you catch the sunshine, it will be feeling warm and light winds too.
02:34Perhaps a build of high cloud later into the day across western parts of Northern Ireland
02:38and the west of Scotland as well. And this just might make the sunshine a little bit
02:42hazy at times. But otherwise, plenty of that autumnal sunshine and highs of 20, 21 Celsius
02:48in the south, but highs of 17, 18 in northern areas. Now, for the rest of the week, if you
