00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. was in a hurry to deliver a service today.

00:06Earlier this morning, the President visited Nueva Ecija

00:10for himself to give a gift to our fellow countrymen who are going to plant

00:15that has an important role in the development of the country.

00:19Kenneth Paciente is in the center of the news.

00:23Felipe suffered a heavy loss after he was affected by a heavy flood

00:28in his farm, Bonsod na Mga Nagdaang Bagyo.

00:31This is a big blow for him because his income is affected.

00:34It's hard. There's no income. There's nothing.

00:38So, to avoid the debt of farmers who have a big interest,

00:43the Agri-Puhunan at Pantawid Program was launched

00:46led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:49on the same day of his birthday.

00:51Under the program, the beneficiaries will be given an Interventions Monitoring Card or IMC.

00:57Under the card, they will have input credits worth P28,000

01:03that they can use to buy fertilizer, fertilizer, pesticides,

01:08and other inputs needed for farming from DA-accredited merchants

01:12and to avail services from service providers.

01:15According to the President, this is a step by the government

01:18to recognize the farmers in their role in the food security of the country.

01:22You are the ones who live in our country.

01:25Our prosperity comes from you.

01:29In your hands, the security of the food of our country is enshrined.

01:34It is only right that we honor and recognize your heroism

01:41and give glory to your unparalleled diligence and hard work.

01:47Aside from the so-called input credits,

01:48they will receive P8,000 every month for four months,

01:53which is a total of P32,000.

01:55According to the President,

01:56this is a goal to meet the needs of their families

01:59while waiting for their crops to grow.

02:03And when it comes to rice,

02:05the National Food Authority will help buy 5 tons or 100 sacks of rice

02:13at a price that will not be lower than P21 per kilo.

02:22Your income per hectare

02:26can reach P105,000

02:30which will surely be included in your IMCs.

02:34That's why Felipe is very happy

02:35because he said this is a big help to farmers like him.

02:39The financial help that P8,000 will provide is huge.

02:46That's what's good for the government.

02:49Farmers also have a birthday wish for the President.

02:52I hope he will have a long life and be kind.

03:31all the financing institutions,

03:33the whole system of agriculture,

03:37my birthday wish is that we can build it

03:40so that the sector of agriculture can run well

03:44so that the lives of every farmer,

03:47their families, and every Filipino can be better.

03:50Some programs and services were done simultaneously

03:53in different parts of the country

03:54on the President's birthday.

03:56Like Kadiwa, Job Fair, and others

04:03The President also announced that the government will pay

04:05all the patients' bills

04:08to all public Level 3 hospitals in the country,

04:10including Dr. Paulino Garcia Memorial Hospital
